Non delivery
Very disappointed. A fake and a sham. I ordered my bamboo sustainable toothbrush a long time ago. There were updates. Then an e-mail to say thaw colour I had ordered was not available, to pick another which I did. The orders were now being despatched in the UK. I still after some time had not received mine so sent an e-mail. No reply but a general we are packing and to wait. Several months on still nothing and now they appear to have disappeared. Someone please do something and either send the product or give us our money back! The concept was fantastic, the reality not so
Awful, do not buy
I have emailed you, I have filled in your contact form and I have Facebook messaged you 100s of times about my faulty toothbrushes. I received not one, but two faulty ones before receiving one that does work, and even that one has a rubbish battery that is supposed to last for '8 weeks'. After my second faulty one I was offered a full refund which I never got. I also had to pay for my return back to bambooi which they said they would reimburse which I never got. So now I'm stuck with a toothbrush with a rubbish battery and no refund or reimbursement. I'm going to seek advice on what to do legally regarding this, since now you have taken your website down and you have deleted all of your social media's.

No response, no toothbrush, company disappeared
Like others, I ordered my eco-friendly power toothbrush back in February. Delivery date countdown went to 0 on website, June came, no toothbrush. Sent emails, auto-response with vague "well send soon". And, here we are, October, no toothbrush, now the website is down. I'll file a claim with my credit card company on principle. So sad. I haven't bought a power toothbrush because of the plastic. I was really looking forward to this eco-product.
Scam Artist
Same as everyone else, ordered a toothbrush back in April and it never arrived.
Have begun the process to report them to trading standards, will never see the money, but at least I will be able to stop the person from running a company again.

Shame there is no "zero" star option
Shame there is no "zero" star option! As many others, I have never received the product, ordered back in February. I can cope with the loss money, but like others, I was trying to support a start-up supplying environmentally sustainable product. This will put me off buying on-line again which will potentially affect other reputable businesses.
Disappointed, annoyed and £80 down.
Ordered 2 toothbrushes in February, and numerous requests for info have resulted in generic email responses not really telling me anything useful. My ‘account’ on the website initially advised I had paid, but the order wasn’t fulfilled, and now, going in to check on the status, it seems the website is no longer available. Not sure how to feel about this really, but I’m disappointed with them, and certainly annoyed with myself!

Not a scam, but disappointed nonetheless
I can assure you it’s not a scam - I my toothbrush arrived (many months after first promised, but that is often the case with a start-up!) and it worked really well. The customer service had been good, too.
However, after a few months of use the button stopped working properly making turning it on and off very difficult! It’s also stopped charging properly. Like many others, I’m waiting on an order from
June for replacement heads…
I’ve just sent another email enquiring, and it has bounced back.
It’s disappointing this initiative hasn’t worked out, and very disappointing the company has not communicated it’s closing to us, leaving many of us out of pocket.
Faulty toothbrush head.
I received my toothbrush very late with 2 heads.
One of which was faulty. I’ve sent numerous emails to which I’ve had absolutely no response.
Wouldn’t ever buy from this company again.
Massive rip off
Pre ordered the toothbrush and never received it. Have asked numerous times for an update and only received an automated response that my order will be fulfilled soon. Nothing so far. When I emailed them again the email wasn't valid anymore.....what a massive surprise NOT....they took the money and disappeared.
I have contacted Bambooi via WhatsApp and did get the most disrespectful answer ever. They said that because I pre ordered the toothbrush and they classed it as crowdfunding then I can't get refund. Since when is a rip off classed as a crowdfunding????? WOW. I'm speechless.....
Never received
Never received my order and now the website is unavailable. I have emailed repeatedly with no real answer. Just an auto reply that shipments are coming. Now the emails bounce back. Do not buy this, it is a scam.
Disappointing!
Like many others, it's not been a good outcome. Pre-ordered a toothbrush and set of replacement heads and never received them. Sent an email a short while ago to ask for a refund and got no response. Such a shame as I really liked the idea and wanted to support a small business. Will see if it can be refunded through my bank.

I'm one of those who DID (eventually!) receive their toothbrush and spare toothbrush heads.
However, after just 5 months, my Bambooi is no longer charging. I tried to email them to report the fault, and that's when/how I discovered that they apparently no longer exist.
For 5 months' use, that's become the most expensive electric toothbrush I've ever had. **sigh**

Waste of time
Well, looks like I got scammed, ordered back in March the whole package with toothbrush and plenty of replacement brushes. Never received anuthing I guess I can forget about the 50+ GBP
Not safe, if bought speak to bank
Bought 2 electric toothbrushes with their crowdfunding. Did receive them. They were pretty good. Ordered 2 more in June...zero contact since then including emails etc. Also one of the original toothbrushes went bang... obviously it wasn't waterproof as the battery inside started expanding and oozing out! Definitely not safe!
Gladly my bank, NatWest, were great. Even though I paid in June for the second lot they raised a fraud case and fully refunded me. Still out of pocket but better than expected.
It seems to me that the business was legit, but either overstretched or imploded and instead of communicating the issues they simply shut up shop. We know who ran the business so we'll be keeping a very close eye on if he pops back up.
