I’m really disappointed with my experience at Battery World Belfast. I bought a car battery from them at the end of January, and just a few weeks later my radio stopped working. At first, I had no idea the issue could be related to the battery,I had only just bought it, so why would I suspect that?

After someone suggested I get it checked, I had the battery tested and was told it’s faulty. When I contacted the store, despite the battery being under warranty, they insisted they would only consider an exchange after doing their own testing. That’s frustrating enough, but what makes it worse is that I don’t even live in Belfast, so getting back there isn’t easy.

They also refused to offer a refund under any circumstances, even though they sold me a faulty product. I’m left stuck with the inconvenience and extra hassle for something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

Very poor customer service. I wouldn’t trust them again.

Went to Battery world today and the staff member couldn't have been nicer. Didn't get his name. Tested the old battery and alternator and then fitted new one for me. Even showed me how to reconnect the radio afterwards. I would highly recommend them. Excellent service and so friendly and helpful. Thanks again. Eleanor

About a year ago, I bought 12 marine batteries (12V, 120Ah each).

Today, I noticed an issue with them. I tested 10 of them, and under load, they all drop to 6V.

Of course, this happened just after the warranty expired.

I thought the warranty was 3 years, but unfortunately, they only offer 1 year.

What a waste of money. I’ll never buy anything from them again.

Order a car battery on a Thursday, website states dispatches same day once ordered before 2pm, which it was. Once I ordered the battery I got an email saying some batteries are taking up to 1 week to deliver due to the courier, it would have been nice to know this before hand. Monday came and still no battery. I followed up with courier company who stated they have still not received the battery from battery world. I had to ring and cancel the order.

Really needed a new car battery and needed it quickly as my 6month old had a doctors appointment out in Churchtown in afternoon. Batteryworld were so helpful and professional. Andy fitted the battery and was such a gentleman, did a call out to the house on his lunch break so we could make the appointment on time. Great service and lovely to deal with. Highly recommend!

Within 30 x mins of making my enquiry by phone , a new battery was being fitting by the Kimmage team who both put the ‘service’ into good customer service. Friendly, professional, knowledgable combined with good banter …. Look no further if you need a replacement battery - thank you gents!

Feels like bait and switch, Dynavolt batteries advertised, but sending out budget batteries with less capacity worth roughly half the price. Listings do have small print about the image being for illustration purposes only but the rest of the entire listing is specific to Dynavolt models. No real support if you have an issue. Looking at their return policy you need to post back at your own cost if unhappy with their switch so either way it's hassle and not worth it.

Delivery shockingly fast, and you'll likely get a battery that works, but overall I would avoid.

The battery on the website is a Dynavolt, for "display purposes only" in very small writing.
I paid a premium price for a premium battery e.g Dynavolt or similar.
What I got is clearly a substandard cheap battery.

Needed a new car battery in April 2020, ordered one online at a good price, it was delivered within 2 days.
In March 2121 found car was struggling to start on cold mornings. This continued and got worse.
In May 2121 I emailed James in Cork and he was helpful and passed me on Lyn in online sales. She took a few details and sent out a brand new battery under warranty.
I had moved counties since the purchase which was no problem.
Couldn't be more pleased with no quibble excellent service.
