Love Bawn- fabulous local place for a good chat and great range of wonderful quality fabrics, kit, books, and other crafty bits. My favourite part is that you can bring in bits you don't use any more and people can take it for free. It feels like a treasure chest every time you come in. When I'm not in the area I order online and the service is still great, just minus the chat unfortunately!

Good quality products and beautifully packaged. All packaging was recyclable which I'm very keen on. I like the personal feel of the service.

Price per half metre!
Unfortunately I failed to read the fine print and thought I was ordering 3 metres instead of 3 half metres so didn't have enough linen for my project. It took a wee while to arrive and didn't realise my mistake until washing and drying it, have now ordered enough and look forward to receiving it.

Aw I'm sorry that tripped you up Brooke, it's pretty standard in the UK to sell by half meters. Sorry you experienced a delay in postage, your second order was dispatched very quick after ordering. Hope you enjoy working with the fabric. The Khaki linen is a personal favourite!

Best Fabric Shop In Scotland
Super friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming team! Brilliant to have a place to find ethical fabrics! I also love how many events they put on - including hosting other small businesses for pop ups, workshops and so much more! Just a fab fab place !!!

Bawn is a beautiful shop with real heart, I went in intending to buy some fabric and left with much more. They have a great range of patterns and general sewing/textiles books as well as haberdashery. The owner is very helpful and lovely to chat too. I wish you were based in Belfast!

Beautiful curated selection for Sewing
Such a beautiful selection of sewing products with a clear love of sustainability and loving our planet. I love the LDH scisssors and pattern weights I bought. Bevan is always so helpful and knowledgeable.
