Bes'Dam Soup Avis 

What is going on with you people?? After the holiday fiasco, I registered and decided to wait to order from my gift certificate until after mid-January. When I called last week, I got only your recording. Since the message assured that you answer your e-messages several times a day, I filled out your form and submitted it rather than wait for you to return the telephone call, which you warned would take two days. HA!

I have received no answer to that message, and today when I call twice, after noon your time, I get only a recording suggesting I call during business hours -- which I clearly did.

You received the $100 paid to you for my gift certificate, but I have not had even the courtesy of a response, much less the opportunity to order and receive what has already been paid for.

About the soup, I can't offer even one star since I have no soup to review, but service thus far gets no stars, although apparently I can't post a review without at least one, so one it is. It's been five weeks since Bes'Dam Soup took my money and I have no soup. I called to inquire on January 2nd, spoke to a representative who told me of the Fed Ex issues and that my soup would be shipped on Wednesday, January 9th. I still have no soup. Bes'Dam Soup has had my money for five weeks and I have no soup. Now, as I try to call them on January 13th, I'm getting only a voice mail, telling me contact them via the web site or leave a message, but give them two business days to reply. I can't even talk to a person. Did you take the money and run?! Bes'Dam nothing!

Still waiting for my soup to be delivered to my inlaws for their Christmas gift. And now I can't even get a reply from the company, my inlaws are in South Dakota and I ordered 8 soups for their Christmas gift. They are 85 years old and some hot soup would have been really nice this January, but we will never know if it was good soup because apparently the company is busy counting their money and not shipping their soup! Thanks for the top notch customer service. Take responsibility and make it right!!!

I ordered this soup 2 weeks before Christmas~Still have not received my soup. Received a email that something about thawed soup had been delivered by fed ex and would send out after Chrsitmas. Instead of Best Dam Soup I have no Dam Soup.

Kind people in handling customer service, holiday shopping should allow for paper confirmation as backup for internet.

All of my orders were filled on time and arrived perfectly. I was contacted personally by the owner Edward Covino and told all my orders (gifts) would be sent and arrive before Christmas and they did. The company should have a name change to "Bes'Dam Service".

Said they sent my order, but had no tracking number. Never received my order and company will not respond to my emails through Amazon. DONT EVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They are terrible.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me! I am now through with trying to conduct business with your company. I placed my order on December 3rd and have not received it, so fulfilling orders placed by December 9th by Christmas was just a flat out lie, BUT Besdamsoup has no problem keeping their customers money in their bank account! I'm really surprised at the lack of communication and customer service of this company especially since Ed the owner has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. Shocking! I've tried canceling my order 5 times, but I have not received my refund as of yet. My next step will be the better business bureau and contacting my credit card company. You don't take people's money and not deliver the product. You just don't! There aren't anymore excuses you could possibly give me because the bottom line is you should have anticipated an increase in sales from the fox airing and you should have had the staff to accommodate the increase in orders.

Placed order on 12/3, was emailed it was shipped 12/16.
As of today 12/27, nothing. Cannot even tract it.
That's not the worst....customer service does not exist!!!
Numerous phone calls and emails not one returned...come on...a little pride in your company...
Not to mention it was a gift!!!

I really hate leaving negative reviews, but I am so frustrated with this company. While the soups are really good, customer service is nonexistent. I understand you are a small company and got slammed with orders, but that is no excuse for lack of caring and customer support. I would not recommend this company to anyone,

I am not able to comment on the quality of the items purchased since I have not received them yet. The customer service is Above average but it is still disappointing not to receive items purchased and not scheduled to be delivered until WEEKS later. :(

My friend emailed Thursday to indicate that she finally received the soups. She tasted the lobster bisque and loved it. Guess it was worth the wait. Thank you for consistently responding to my query about the delivery.

Received package in 2 days. Soup was already thawed or thawing. I expected it to be in box with dry ice or something to keep it frozen. I was also missing some soup. Some soup was not sealed and some was.I dont think at this point i would order again. I do expect a call back when i left a message and i am still waiting

The order was shipped on Monday. It did not arrive until Thursday. My three items were completely thawed. I called and left a message asking if I could re freeze the items since they are seafood. It is now Saturday morning and no one has returned my call. So we had to eat the soup and I had to discard the crab dip. Unfortantly, I have another order out there for Christmas and I do not want it. Plus I ordered a gift card and want to cancel the order. Did we like the soup? Not really, maybe because of all the worry and hassle. We are very disappointed.

They seem to be overwhelmed with orders. I received a shipping notice with tracking info on 12/16 yet still today on 12/19 the tracking shows only that the label has been issued. No routing at all. I can only hope that the soup isn't sitting on a dock somewhere going bad. First experience with the company, holding final rating depending on outcome of this issue.

I ordered this for my daughter-in-law as an extra Christmas gift. Since she hasn't received her shipment yet, I can't even pass on her opinion to you. Sorry!

I would love to rate but I still have not received them. I received a tracking email but have bee unsuccessful getting through. I have no idea where or when I will receive them. Very disappointed

I like this place, I havent been there in a while, but I would recommend it !

This company does everything right! They make your shopping experience enjoyable. They are very responsive, their products are the best ever! They are professional and dependable. Will continue to use them and tell all my friends about them!

I ordered 5 different entrees after hearing about the firm on Fox news. I never received confirmation of order and asked what "fulfilling order" meant on two different occasions. After no repsonse on eithcasion, I cancelled the order through Paypal. One week later, I receive a message saying how busy they have been and thank you for the order. I will not buy from this company or listen to Fox suggestions again!
