They provided documents I needed. But, from a communication stand point, the site has a customer service phone number no one answers. So then you are left to fill out a damn form, which they ignore as well. The deal i signed up for included a bank account from Mercury - Still don't have a clue about the status - is company managed by Gen Alphas?

Excellent Service
No problems at all, from the company's inception to its formation... they are responsible, answer questions in a timely manner, and above all, are very disciplined in handling documents... A 10 out of 10 for the entire "BetterLegal" team. I recommend them!

Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. I should have quit their service since the first year, it took months to get the LLC approved. Failed to send me notification/scans, and now they increased the price to $120 for the “Registered Agent Service”. They didn't let me know, also there is no option to cancel or change the “subscription”, and now they don't want to refund me the months I won't use of that full year paid. The customer service sucks, they don't even understand English correctly, foreign people who have no idea of what they are doing or the worse “AI Assistant” ever. One time I asked for 1 question, and they understood, “please terminate my LLC”. Not sure HOW if I was asking for something else. DON'T TRUST THEM!!! Also, I've been missing 2 years of notifications from the IRS and I'm starting to think that the IRS actually notified me but they never did.

Impossible to cancel. They'll cancel your account but the "paperwork" will cost you a couple hundred dollars.

Hidden price increases, unable to cancel
Cancelled their service 6 weeks before annual subscription, and followed their hidden cancellation policy in their terms of service (must email multiple address and provide proof). However they did not cancel the subscription and they even increased the payment by over 30% without notification of any subscription price increase. Not trustworthy.

Setting up my LLC was incredibly easy filled out just a few things paid and boom it was ready in 2 days with all the other things to setup with a new business this was the least painful

I’m sorry to hear about your experience, but I want to clarify a few points regarding your review.
While your feedback implies that you couldn’t reach us, we were able to assist you promptly. The issue wasn’t a lack of communication but rather that the response didn’t align with your expectations.
As requested, we canceled your State Compliance subscription. However, we also explained that we cannot cancel your Registered Agent subscription at this time. This is because we are still officially listed as your LLC’s Registered Agent, as evidenced by this screenshot of the state website: https://imgur.com/a/Nv0LRO0
By state law, we are required to fulfill the Registered Agent role until you formally change the agent (if keeping the LLC active) or dissolve the LLC. This ensures there are no lapses in service that could cause legal or financial issues for you.
I understand this may be frustrating, but these policies exist to protect you. For instance:
1) Avoiding future obligations – Terminating your LLC ensures no outstanding fees or penalties with the state.
2) Preventing missed notices or lawsuits – Keeping the business active with a defunct Registered Agent could result in critical notices being unanswered.
While we strive to provide excellent service, we are committed to following state rules and regulations for the benefit of our customers. A more lenient approach might create future complications, which we aim to prevent.
I respect your right to share feedback, even if it’s negative, but I hope this provides some clarity on why we handled your request this way.

Fast and Efficient Service
BetterLegal provides a fast and efficient LLC formation process with an easy-to-use platform and clear instructions. The service is excellent for those who value simplicity and speed. However, it’s important to note that registered agent services and state compliance are not included in the filing price but are offered as separate packages. Making this distinction clearer upfront or bundling these services would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Support and value are unmatched
For weeks, I had slogged my way thru a number of companies similar to the services Better Legal provides. I am not a price shopper; I shop Quality vs Value. I spoke directly with all of the companies I considered quality. So, what made Better Legal rise to the top? The time that they took to have me fully understand the service, turnaround time and a dedicated support team. Let me also say their price couldn't be beaten. During the process I needed to rename my C-Corp, having the dedicated support team, we were able to change the name midstream. Response to my need was less than 15 minutes. The team called me directly, addressed the issue and never missed a beat. I have a number of business acquaintances and have already suggested they use Better Legal.
