I just have to say that my experience has been absolutely lovely and amazing, all thanks to Susan. She works there and has gone above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. Susan genuinely cares for her customers, and her dedication truly shines through. Her attention to detail and the way she goes the extra mile made all the difference. It's rare to find such exceptional customer service, and Susan has truly made my time here unforgettable. Kudos to her!

Missing order, no communication!

I have been asked by the chat box 'What went wrong this time?' The question should be 'What typically goes wrong when ordering from bfp?' I'll start with this time:

I ordered 3x25kg invert sugar on Monday 28th August thinking I would have my order by the end of the week. On the Thursday 1x25kg arrives and according to the tracking number (which wasn't provided to me,I found it on the packaging', the other 2 items were damaged in transit according to UPS. I told the company this who said they would get in touch with transport to deal with this but I was also told that usually if something is damaged in transit that a refund is initiated and you have to reorder?? That doesn't make sense. I have called back three times now and sent 3 emails to which I have had no response and no update on my order. I needed the products by Wednesday 6th at the latest and as they have not arrived I have incurred expensive losses due to tight production schedules. On Tuesday 5th I informed I had ordered through another company instead and asked for a refund and yet still no response from the company. This is the 4th time I have had similar incidents to this since the start of the year which I can evidence through emails and nothing seems to change. There seems to be a complete disconnect between the website, the transport team and the team on the phone when you call.
I have spend over £1000k with this company since January but you have now lost me as your customer.

Please can someone contact me to discuss my refund and to discuss this matter, ideally someone from management!!!! My order number is BFPX12460.

Its no wonder they make millions in profit - nearly a month still nothing

Just one lie after another, cock and bull stories its 5 days shy of a month and I still haven't the good i ordered and paid for whats worse i know how rubbish they are at delivery so this time i ordered 10 days before i needed it and was told by some geezer called Arnold it was coming, then it was out of stock, but it could be bought online still which tells me one of two things. They are taking the orders without telling us is a pre order because then you can have it on sale and you never in the first place. Once they have a huge amount of orders they can buy it dirt cheap and then they send it out, it looks like all the complaints are when something is on "sale" 2nd thay why they never manage the stock via their online shop as mine wont sell you something we dont have but the con is tell us its on sale so we order more. The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations and Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations make it a civil and criminal offence by using or including false or deceptive messages leaving out important information like they don't actually have any.
I paid these people 300 quid and had to spend more buying crappy stuff so i could get my afternoon tea for 400 done I have emailed and called like all the other businesses who complained and like them no one bothered to call or pass on my message management which tells me a lot about their how there company runs...so i am out of pocket by 600 quid but i do have 500 piping bags and 100's of trays shame i don't have the cookies or the kids who are taking part in the bake offer created for them have gone back to school..well they are never going to admit to it but they cant hide it from the trading standards who i have lodged a formal complaint. I put this down to pure greed i mean how many more millions does John need...And there dough point all a load of poppy cock,, i spent about 800 with them and my account says none of my orders have never been fulfilled and i am not entitled to any points...hates off to the marketing team for being experts in the worst form of marketing deceiving your customers. John and co must spend a lot of working out how is going to fleece the rest of us. This made me laugh these complaints are living proof these words are a work of fiction "we're motivated by a desire to see our customers succeed in their quest to create successful businesses and delight their customers" you are not the only thing you are motivated by if the millions you have in the bank 21 million to be precise instead of taking you should consider giving as karma can be a real Bxxxx. I run a purpose driven businesses we donate 15% of our revenue from all our businesses to food charities who can either have the donation or we will by via our supply chain like when i buy from BFP and one of the cake mixes is for a charity for a kids bake off we had gifted to them..so i have 33 aprons 33 bread and cookies kits and still waiting for the cake mix, we unlike you john et al I don't let people down. I took care if i..but i did let it be known to the power that be and very high profile patrons how BFP shafted those kids this summer and did the thing we never do which is put profits and shareholders before people purpose and our planet as we care about in equal measure,

Seems like my experience is typical with the other genuine reviews here!
I placed an order on July 29th With BFP. After 1 week noting had arrived. I called and got straight through. I was promised a call back....it never happened! Each time i have called (maybe 15 -20 times now) i have been told that it is out for delivery or it has just been picked up by the courier! Again it never arrives. I call, get promised a return call....it never happens! I call back and am told that they are waiting on courier call back. I call again and am told that it has definately been collected this time and will be delivered tomorrow. Guess what? it still doesnt come!
Its day 17 now and I am fed up. I have bought what i need from another company.
As a wholesaler and retailer myself - it is by far the worst experience that I have ever had with a supplier

First of all my I apologise for any inconvenience caused, it is not intentional and we have asked a member of our Senior Management Team to call you immediately, and this should have happened already.

At this moment in time we have experienced some courier issues and this is being addressed by our MD unfortunately, this is not something which can happen overnight and we are still seeing some rouge issues in certain parts of the country.

3 weeks still no ordet

Placed my order 3 weeks ago ,was told a week later my delivery would be Thursday, no delivery made or no communication from anyone to let me no ,called them thy told me thy had courier issues, I said OK thy told me my delivery would be today 27th July, still no delivery made rite up till 430 pm thy said my delivery is on its way be there by 5pm then received a call from customer service because I had called them twice ,apologising because it not delivered again ,appalling service do not use this company ,customer service was helping but who ever organised the dispatch of my item is disgusting

If I could give 0 stars I would.

Supposed to be delivered 2 days ago. Was never sent. Only one person who can deal with online orders who is away.

Called 4 times and was promised a call back and didn’t get a single one. Rang random numbers until I eventually got through to her and she apologised but the companies customer service is shocking.

Why promise a call back if you won’t? From
Reading reviews this isn’t the only time just just don’t deliver things.

Refunded requested and if none comes I will request a chargeback. Never ordering from them again.

Unreliable service

Unreliable service.
I ordered on 30/06/23 and received an email to say my order would be delivered on 6/7/23. It never arrived. I was then told 10/7/23. Never arrived. I was then told the driver is only in my area now on Thursday 13/7/23. Again, never arrived.
I cannot fault the ease of getting through to customer service and speaking to someone, but it’s a shame I can’t rely on the company to get me an order delivered at the cost of a £10 delivery fee. This has lost me business and cost me money (not just the money I paid for the undelivered items). Dissapointed.
!!!update!!!!
On 14/7/23 I rang to cancel this order and request a refund. A week later still no refund but have on 21/7/23 received an email to say that due to a “small delay” (I do not call a month small!) my order will be delivered on 27/7/23!!!! This company is unbelievable!
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!!

I received a tub of strawberry tart…

I received a tub of strawberry tart jelly that was no good i think to much gelatine. So called the office and spoke to Chelsea who was very helpful and professional in dealing with the issue .when calling back I then spoke to a very fantastic lovely person called Susan L. Who then did everything possible to resolve the issue I think both ladies were so professional polite and efficient especially Susan L who is an asset to the organisation .I would recommend BFP to all my contacts and beyond.Bfp will be my first port of call to get any of my baking products from now on. A great big thank you to Susan ❤ and Bfp staff 👏for making my experience fantastic stress free..I wish all companies had a Susan and Chelsea in the world would be such a great place to be .I'm extremely grateful for the service I have been given by Bfp I hope you all have a fantastic summer Thanks Chris ❤👊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Never recieved had to ask for refund after 18 days

Recently placed an order and have emailed twice regarding a delivery estimate and both times no replies. I’ve not received any order updates and have no idea when my order is going to be delivered.
*UPDATE
had a email this afternoon to tell me it wasn't in stock when I bought it and new stock won't be in until 12th, shocking as before when I've tried to purchase out of stock items it won't allow for this reason. Plus how can this item be put of stock when your still advertising as you have 161 of said item currently in stock??

I have ordered twice from company

I have ordered twice from company, and both times the sugar I've ordered has not been a fine caster sugar, like I thought I was ordering, maybe I need to read product information better. the only reason I haven't given 5 stars is on both occasions, I've had no communications as to when my order will arrive.

Fantastic service when my first order went wrong...

Mine was a very small order in comparison to the pallet loads that most of their customers make - 2*25kg sacks of dextrose.

On arrival at my workplace, the driver was unable to locate the two sacks amongst the larger orders and thought that it might have been incorrectly added to another order. She was EXTREMELY helpful and liaised with the despatcher who confirmed that the driver would complete the other deliveries in our area and return if my pieces were found. As a "back up plan" in case they were not found, the despatcher arranged for a replacement set to be sent via courier. Fortunately, my items were located and the driver returned later in the day.

Any organisation can get things right. Any organisation, no matter how good, can also get things wrong. The ones that know how to put mistakes right with the minimum of disruption are the ones that are worth dealing with. This was my first order from BFP, but it won't be my last.
