This company has very poor salesmanship and lacks customer care for sole traders. I looked at a small office space near Charlbury in Oxfordshire to run my small therapy business and instantly felt dismissed by Theo who met me at the property with his assistant Daisy. After opening up the room for me to view he left to deal with another matter, leaving me with his assistant who was lovely, but unable to answer alot of my questions due to her lack of experience. Theo disappeared and I didn't hear from him for any kind of follow up afterwards. I did however like the room and wanted to apply for the tenancy. I put in my application and was told by Daisy that it would be submitted to the landlord and someone would be in touch with the next steps. After almost three weeks of no correspondence I emailed to ask if the Landlord had approved my application and I had no response back. Another week on I decided to call Theo's assistant to get an update and was told that I would be notified once the landlord had received my application. So almost one month on and this hadn't even been submitted to the landlord. I emailed Theo again to say I needed an answer soon otherwise I would have to continue my search for another space. Several days later he responded and informed me that the landlord was yet to make a decision as there were several applications to consider. I feel Bidwells wasted my time and their lack of communication is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. Luckily for me I found an alternative space where I am dealing directly with the landlord. If you are a female sole trader dont go near this company as you will be dismissed and have your time wasted.

Bidwells Cambridge office has let and managed our rental apartments for a few years. Always efficient, responsive, proactive.

All members of staff were extremely helpful, polite, friendly and very prompt with answers to questions. A terrific team that made the whole process easy. We also feel confident that they would be pleased to answer any questions subsequent to completion!
