I searched the internet on how to update my 528i without breaking the bank by going to the dealership. The site was easy to use, reviewed the various coding options that could be done my specific vehicle and read how the installs occur. I couldn’t be happier with the process, from start to finish. And the greatest part, the cost was easy on the bank account. I purchased the Legal Disclaimer Deactivation and the Traffic Information options. The installs arrived quickly with the necessary notes on how to install. I for one, didn’t know there was a specific usb port used for installs (learn something everyday). Super easy to install! I can't wait to purchase some more coding options for my vehicle and will be telling my son and others about BIMMER-TECH!

Installed the new alpha one amp and all speakers, supplemented with my 2 10 inch subs in the trunk, car coded, amp tuned. Sounds amazing. Support is second to none, when I ran into difficulties the team phoned from the USA and I’m in the Uk, they guided me through the resolve on the phone. Super happy

Bought a remote start retrofit from bimmertech last winter for my 320i 2014, it was the worst decision just to save 300. I spent 950 cad for this device and it starts the car sometimes (like 2/10 times). I spoke to customer support and every time they end up saying try reinstalling. I am like dude? Car starts SOMETIMES. I already have reinstalled 3 times what else you could suggest. I live where weather conditions are harsh like -35 for 3-4 months of winter where at least I could start my car remotely. I wish I went to a garage guy was saying 1300 with installation 3 year warranty. Hope it helps someone looking for the same.

I did a map update for my 2018 X3, once I found out that it was only updating through BMW one quarterly update every 30 days or so and I was on 2021/1 so it was going to take awhile to get 2024/2. It was pretty painless, popped the USB in and hit the prompts and it only took about 30 minutes after starting. Price seemed a little steep, but it got done quickly.

Packaging, instructions and the products are top quality. No issues and great customer service. Got a new update on my Map.

I'm satisfied with the product and customer service was very helpful. The initial USB method did not take, but your representatives were quick to troubleshoot the issue and send out the necessary items for a remote session. Once received it was easy to schedule an appointment and the remote session was completed in under 10 minutes. Outstanding service and I'm very happy with the product.

I would say that I am 95% thrilled with my new CarPlay emulator. It is responsive, helpful and I can listen to my books and podcasts again through my speakers. I find it a little awkward to maneuver around and I had to practice when not driving to be safe. I think I still have some investigation to do regarding initiating phone calls and other functionality.

I couldn't believe how easy the coding with USB for DVD playback and with the direct connect for Sport+ mode activation. It was really easy and cool to watch the tech work in real time. Do it you won't regret it.

I had a great experience with BimmerTech! I purchased the CarPlay MMI Pro and I couldn't be happier with the product. Being able to do all the Apple CarPlay things in addition to being able to hookup my Firestick using my phone as a hotspot is very nice. The customer service has also been outstanding. I would highly recommend BimmerTech to anybody looking to do some upgrades to their car!

Bought the BimmerTech amp for my 2021 M5 Competition. The amp I purchased is the Alpha One amplifier, which is a re-labeled Match UP 10. This amplifier is set up with a JD 500/1 mono amp for a 10W3v3 JL Audio 2-ohm subwoofer, 500 watts RMS. Additionally, I have high-quality aftermarket under-seat woofers: the Audison APBMW S8-2.2 Under-Seat Woofers (2-ohm, 8-inch under-seat woofers). All these components are connected and utilized by the Match UP 10 DSP.

The technical support team at BimmerTech was extremely professional and super helpful. Maciej Stalmach, the technician I worked with, helped me dial in my system and spent over two hours tuning it. We went through the automatic time alignment and referenced some prior data to ensure the speaker distances were correct and the delay was properly set. We also tweaked the equalizer and adjusted the low and high passes. Once everything was dialed in, the system sounded incredible.

I was particularly impressed with Maciej's knowledge of BMWs and how the sound system can be adjusted. For instance, Maciej showed me how under-seat woofers can cancel out a single rear independent subwoofer at certain frequencies if the polarity isn't adjusted correctly. We tested the polarity on several songs, and it was evident how much of a difference it made.

As someone new to audio systems, this was a fascinating learning experience. Maciej's expertise and willingness to explain everything made the process enjoyable. We experimented with various settings and frequencies, which was really awesome. It was an amazing experience being able to adjust all the channels independently and tune them according to my preferences, which made a world of difference in sound quality.

A big shout-out to BimmerTech for their quick shipping and excellent packaging. The G30 bracket fit perfectly on my F90 M5, and the wiring kit was labeled nicely for an easy plug-and-play installation. The amp came with all the cables required for a plug-and-play solution, making it very easy to set up. With a couple of videos and a tutorial they provided me, I managed to get all the wires routed correctly. There are some things I would adjust in the DIY instructions, but no worries—it works really well, and most of it is very easy to figure out. Wiring in these cars is surprisingly straightforward, thanks to the rear-mounted battery and accessible wire routing. Some trim pieces were a bit tricky, but most came off easily.

I highly recommend BimmerTech to anyone looking to upgrade their audio system. Many people start with replacing the speakers, but I believe the amplifier and DSP make the most significant impact. The stock Harman Kardon speakers in my M5 are decent, but they truly shine when driven and tuned correctly by a high-quality amp and DSP. For anyone with a Harman Kardon setup, I recommend upgrading the under-seat woofers, adding a DSP amp, and installing a mono amp with a separate subwoofer in the trunk for a solid audio setup. Even though this car doesn't have the Bowers & Wilkins system, I can tell you that after an amp and DSP, you won't need that upgrade. It will sound better than the Bowers & Wilkins setup, driven solidly and better tuned, especially if you have a calibration microphone. Bowers & Wilkins isn't going to be calibrated as well as it could be from the factory, and there's always tuning that can be done. This isn't the final tune on my setup either. In the future, I'm sure I'll make slight adjustments as I listen to it more and more over time. Highly recommended!

Had my lovely BMW stolen last night, the same day my MMI Prime retrofit arrived from BimmerTech. So I have it unopened and they are still charging me 20%. Doesn't feel right and leaves a bad taste.

Received my CarPlay MMI Pro quick and it was easy to install. Haven’t had an issues since installation.

This review covers three areas...in order: first the sales process was absolutely awesome. The reps were very helpful throughout the ordering process. Then the amp is great...it definitely wakes up my BMW factory system. Literally went from like a 3 (factory system) to a 10 (BimmerTech Amp addition). The installation was literally step-by-step as they advertised. I have done system installs in the past but this was by far the most straightforward...and I added an external sub and amp. Lastly was the tech support...they were knowledgeable and very helpful. They knew exactly what I needed and made sure I was ultimately satisfied. If you have a BMW and want to upgrade your audio, definitely go with BimmerTech. If my review sounds too good to be true, believe me it's true!

I purchased the video in motion for my bmw x5. I was searching for a way to be able to do this and came across BimmerTech. I spoke with a representative via chat online and the customer service was awesome. Quick and responsive and gave me great insurance and confidence with my purchase. I wanted it so my son could watch movies while in the car and/or long road trips. Total game Changer, and the process only took about 15 to 20 minutes. Definitely would purchase from BimmerTech again. If you're thinking about making a upgrade for your bmw, don't hesitate it's definitely worth it.

I watched a few videos prior to purchase, as MMI Prime was very well reviewed and the product turns the dull old i-Drive into a modern CarPlay machine. I purchased the MMI Prime from the website, and it shipped and arrived very quickly. It took me a couple of hours to install, as I also installed a rear camera that attached to the MMI Prime (from BimmerTech). The provided instructions were clear, concise and easy to follow. Every car probably has unique fitment issues as they are all different, my F10 only differed slightly from the instructions, but generally speaking there is plenty of room to secure the unit behind the dash. The cables supplied had sufficient length and was never an issue. The cable connecters were spot on perfect and there are no special wire joints needed. Truly plug and play!
Once the unit was installed, it started working immediately and was able to pair my phone on the first try. The i-Drive controller navigation works better than I expected, and the overall the experience makes it a joy to use. The MMI Prime has plenty of settings to tweak it to your own liking (like EQ) and are easy to find and understand. So far everything is working as expected. I'm super happy to have made this purchase and would highly recommend this to anyone trying to add CarPlay in an older BMW.
