Birkdale Garage Doors Avis 

Blaine and Hayden turned up on time. They were extremely polite and respectful. Worked quickly and efficiently. Their innovative talents were amazing baring in mind the garage walls were not level. They soon came up with a way to make the fittings look square and operate perfectly as per manufactures specifications. Tidied up really well once the job was completed. Explained everything clearly before they left. An amazing credit to the company. Their attention to detail was incredible. Would highly recommend them both to anyone considering a new garage door.

Spent a long time looking for a new garage door, struggled with most companies due to the size but Birkdale came back with a great price and exactly what I wanted. The Sales guy went out of his way to come measure up on an evening so I didn't have to take time off work. The door took about 2 weeks to make which was under the quoted time. When the fitters came there was a slight issue with being able to fit the door but the team came back later with more tools to get the job done in the same day. Everyone from the company was helpful and professional. Would deffineltly recommend Birkdale to anyone wanting a garage door.

Fitted our garage door is SW London. Prompt and efficient, really good service. Returned to make adjustments which were carried out quickly with no fuss. Thoroughly recommended.

Great initial quote and not pushed to commit. Provided with a lot of information and guidance. Easy admin team for payments and booking, who provided regular updates, even when the installers were late due to traffic, called with an update every 30minutes. Installation team very pleasant and completed an excellent job. Tidied up after themselves and provided a demo of the new garage door.

Bought garage door from Amazon. We was unsure because of the reviews on Amazon. It came before due date which was great for us. Unsure how to fit in, so got on the phone to Birkdale and spoke to Rob. We cannot praise him enough as he was so helpful and would recommend the company. The product is also better than imagined for the price. We installed this product a few weeks ago and works amazing.

Richard and Jez arrived on time and were polite, clean and tidy whilst installing the sectional door we had ordered. Unfortunately due to an inaccurate survey the boom which drives the door wouldnt fit within the available space which caused them major problems. All credit to them they went the extra mile and spent all day rectifying the problem. The door works perfectly and is now exactly as i required. Thankyou guys

The fitting team from Birkdale Ryan and Sol came on the 28th of October to fit our professional roller garage door....They were very professional in working as a team and completed the installation in good time. They seemed very thorough in explaining the installation, user instructions, and minor maintenance items necessary for the satisfactory operation of the door...They cleaned up after themselves leaving the garage spotless....The door itself looks amazing..we are so glad that we choose a Birkdale...

I’ve had several roller shutters doors from Birkdale and I can honestly say both the door quality and the service has been first class.

Had a problem with safety sensor on one of my garage doors where the 2 x AA batteries all of a sudden lasted two weeks instead of 6 - 9 months. The control system was still fully operational apart from this problem. As this was about 3 years after installation I was informed by Birkdale that this product was STILL UNDER GUARANTEE to my delight. They attended a and fixed problem within a reasonable timescale.

This is my second roller garage door from Birkdale. Very happy with the first one fitted about 3 years ago so using them again on a second garage
was a no brainer and great value compared to quotes from a couple of other companies. Order time to fitting date was several weeks but that was down to the pandemic pushing everything back. The installation itself was excellent and Richard and Sam did a sterling job, taking care at every step. Great communication too. Received a phone call a couple of days before and on the day to let me know what time they would be here.
Unfortunately the garage roller curtain did have some minor damage on it but on closer examination it turned out they supplied the wrong door entirely. Door should have been laminated but wasn't. Phoned Birkdale about this and without any fuss a new door was ordered and fitted 4 weeks later. I would recommend this company but make sure you are very clear about the door finish during the ordering process.

I was pleased at the speed of the response and the ongoing communication I received to my enquiry. The fault diagnosis proved to be absolutely spot on. I also found the 'on site' engineers to polite, engaging and knowledgeable.
On the downside the main office told me that I would need to replace my remote control device when in actual fact the original device still worked and their terms required full payment one day in advance of the work which made me pay in a way I wasn't going to for the extra protection it gave.
I was happy with the overall level of service and would use them again if I needed to.

I made a phone call to Birkdale regarding a problem with my mother’s garage door, within minutes of my call Rob called me back and asked me a few questions which enabled him to diagnose that it was simply a matter of replacing the AA batteries in the door sensor.

I contacted Birkdale as our 3 year old garage door failed to shut automatically and we could see a broken part. I emailed Birkdale with pictures of the broken bit and they replied promptly with an efficient answer. The lads that came to mend it were polite and efficient, arrived early and just got on with the job. They also gave recommendations of how to look after my door better!

All went well. Arrived within the allotted time and carried out the job professionally whilst being respectful of property.

Electric garage door wouldn’t close, it was a Sunday.
Messages Birkdale around midday.
Response received 8.00pm same day with a fix.
Changed the batteries as recommended and it fixed the problem.

Having installed a rolling door from Birkdale and its been 6 months now, perhaps a good time to add a review. Firstly, they messed up with the order and i had to wait much longer than they initially promised. So its just they need to get their house in order. Secondly, though i would have opened/shut the doors handful of times, the roll-down had stopped working (as they said it was an install issue!) within few weeks. And then again after few weeks, same issue again. So i am not sure if its the best tech as they sell the doors for. the door definitely looks and feels good quality but if you cant auto shut, its not of much use!

Salesman denied that he reversed his van into my car whilst I was stopping on coming traffic and looking the other way.

Would you trust a company that backs a lying salesman?
