Absolutely outstanding service from Black Bear.

They installed my Concept2 SkiErg and the whole experience was exceptional from start to finish. They responded to me within minutes over the weekend, offered a very competitive price, and completed the installation within just two days.

The quality of the installation was perfect, and they took the time to explain everything clearly afterwards. They were incredibly responsive, friendly and professional throughout.

As a family business, Black Bear is exactly the kind of company you want to deal with. I only wish there were more businesses like them.

Product was as described and top quality , had some issues with delivery but not Blackbears fault , poor courier . Blackbear rectified the problem immediately on notification of the issue . Would recommend using them

Received our order over two delivery’s which was fine but was missing our bench that we ordered. I spoke with the team and they sincerely apologised even though it wasn’t their fault and sent a new one out immediately. Excellent service and the goods are great quality. Would order again.

I ordered the leg extension and curl plate loaded machine on Friday and it was delivered and assembled as promised on the following Monday. Fantastic service and Anthony even adjusted my cable Smith machine for me while he was there. Really 5 star customer service and the machine is excellent too!

I enquired about a Dumbell set as couldnt find exactly what I wanted. Lucky enough to live close to the warehouse so went down to discuss requirements. Really helpful and friendly, no pushy sales tactics and a great price. Everything super quality. Will definitely be back!

Had some issues with my order being separated in to 2 Deliveries, and the 2nd one being heavily delayed. However, the team at Blackbear Fitness made it right, and got the shipment out to me, so cannot fault them for that.

Excellent customer service. I ordered the 100kg coloured bumper plate set. It was delivered but missing the pair of 10kg plates. Lost in transit by courier. Contacted BBF and they immediately arranged for a replacement set to be sent. Good communication by Anthony at BBF. The plates are top quality, very happy. Thank you.

I am genuinely shocked by how poor my experience with BlackBear Fitness has been. After spending £1,850 on a full Smith machine, I expected a professional product backed by professional customer service. Instead, I have been left frustrated, disappointed, and questioning why I chose this company in the first place.

The customer service is, without doubt, one of the worst aspects of the entire experience. Trying to get a response from BlackBear Fitness is like talking to a brick wall. Emails take ages to be answered, and when you have questions regarding a product of this size and complexity, waiting days for a response is simply unacceptable. When customers are spending close to £2,000, communication should be a priority, not an afterthought.

The assembly instructions are absolutely appalling. I honestly cannot understand how a company can sell a product at this price point and provide instructions of such poor quality. The manual is unclear, lacks detail, and appears to have been put together with very little effort or consideration for the customer. Some diagrams are difficult to understand, important steps are not explained properly, and there is far too much room for guesswork. At several stages of the build, I found myself having to stop and try to work out what the instructions were actually trying to tell me.

What should have been an exciting purchase quickly turned into a stressful and time-consuming headache. Instead of enjoying the process of setting up a premium piece of gym equipment, I spent hours trying to decipher poorly written instructions and searching for answers that should have been included in the manual from the start.

The most frustrating part is that this isn't a budget product. This is a machine that costs £1,850. At that price, customers should expect clear instructions, responsive support, and a company that actually values its customers after the sale has been made. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite. It feels as though the focus is entirely on securing the sale, with very little concern for the customer once the money has changed hands.

I have purchased gym equipment from other suppliers in the past and have never encountered such poor communication or such badly prepared assembly instructions. Even products costing a fraction of the price have come with clearer manuals and better support than what I received here.

The machine itself may look impressive, but the overall customer experience has left a very sour taste. When you spend this kind of money, you expect quality throughout the entire process—from ordering, to delivery, to assembly, to after-sales support. BlackBear Fitness has fallen far short of those expectations.

If you're considering spending a significant amount of money with this company, I would strongly advise you to think carefully and do plenty of research first. Had I known what the experience would be like, I would have looked elsewhere. Between the painfully slow responses, lack of helpful support, and the dreadful assembly instructions, this has been one of the most frustrating purchases I have made.

A premium price should come with a premium experience. Unfortunately, that is not what I received from BlackBearFitness.

Great quality products and incredible value for money. Hands down, the best customer service experience of any company I have ever dealt with!! Anthony was excellent. Even after a mishap that turned out to be the fault of the courier, all issues were promptly resolved. This is a company that really values their customers and I could not recommend them more. I will definitely be buying from here again. 11/10 all round!!!
