Just returned from a fantastic trip to Cuba arranged by Black Tomato.
They were extremely helpful in creating a trip that suited all our interests, putting us in touch with a fantastic team of interesting and professional local guides who could not have been more helpful.
We’ve travelled with Black Tomato several times, always to fabulous destinations and properties, and we’ve already booked our next adventure with them for next year.

Overall, Black Tomato provided a great experience.
Overall, it was a great experience. Black Tomato and their local partners went out of way to accommodate our request for some changes to our itinerary. This level of flexibility would be one of the main reasons to use bespoke travel planner such as Black Tomato. The reason I’m not giving them a five star is that we felt Black Tomato could have done a better job vetting one of the hotels against our personal needs in the first place.

My first time using a service like this…
My first time using a service like this - and it was solid. My husband and I weren't seated together on either of our domestic flights. I would have pushed for that or ensured that we paid extra to have this. I will say the third party they used for us in Ireland, Paula Ward was fantastic. Above and beyond. I was just a bit disappointed in some of our travel assignments that had I planned on my own, I would have corrected. One thing that was great was the printed daily guide. We referenced that often as we didn't always have access to wi-fi or our app,

Unfortunately, with the earthquake that occurred in Lombok a week before your trip, there was a lot of back and forth with our partners trying to rearrange logistics for everyone and therefore communication was not as quick as normal.
