Of course the shirt, which looked like a nice twill in the photo, was 100% shiny polyester, the kind of thing I would expect of a $12 shirt from Temu. When I asked to initiate a return-refund I was told I’d have to send the shirt back to China, paying $30-50 for shipping, although the nicely designed website proclaims “Blake & Weston New York.” Instead of a refund, the customer-service bot cheerfully suggested I might like to keep the shirt and enjoy a 10% discount or store credit. As if! I insisted on a NY return address and then the proposed discount rose to 50%. Finally I accepted 75%, figuring the 12.50 I wound up paying was only a little more than it would have cost me to send the shirt to NY. In short, the garment was a complete joke and they did everything they could to avoid the trouble-free return the website promises.
