I needed an electric bike for a very specific commute - and to transport two kids - and I wasn't sure nor could afford to take the plunge with buying myself a bike without knowing if it would be right for me. I discovered Blike, and as far as I can see, this company is the only one offering the chance to not only rent a bike, but also most helpfully, it gives you the opportunity to change your bike if you need to. The service from Blike was exemplary and highly personalised from the enquiry to the fitting, every step was with a friendly and very helpful individual. The experience of renting and using the bike was a real pleasure. It took me a while to get used to the Randwagon 4, but once I had mastered it, (and its weight!) my kids and I had the best time zipping past all the traffic. it was a game changer. My thoughts about the RandWagon are: It handles really well, it can take a lot of weight, it's fat tyres leave you feeling confident even in wintery conditions, and the accelerator handle bar is a delight to use and changes the whole experience. It doesn't do that well on hills with a two child load. And it is very long and inflexible which makes it virtually impossible to weave through the traffic. This bike is happiest sailing down wide open roads.
Blike: Ride to the Rescue
I recently had the pleasure of subscribing to Blike when my beloved VanMoof, decided to take an unscheduled break. Desperate for a quick solution, I stumbled upon Blike, and super glad I did!
From the get-go, the subscription process was a breeze, signing up was a quick and painless. I rented the Cowboy which arrived in pristine condition, ready to hit the road.
Customer service was another standout feature. Rebecca was responsive and helpful, addressing any queries I had promptly.

Blike does everything perfect. From customer support through to the process of getting a bike. I've had my vanmoof with them for 13 months and will continue to recommend them to everyone! Rarely have any troubles, but if I do the team is super response and kind. Can't recommend a better company!

I’m really pleased that I have chosen Blike as my bike leasing service. They have been really helpful and extremely responsive with all questions I have had along the process. Also Blike was giving options while waiting for my final bike to arrive. Service at the workshop excellent and the post service even better!

Fantastic service!
Fantastic service across the board. Bike handoff was smooth (I opted to pick my bike up from the workshop) and I have been using it every day since I received it. I recently had an issue with my bike and Rebecca and Tom were very accommodating about helping me fix my problem. Renting a bike has made my commute in London a joy and it's a fantastic concept, just wish I thought of using it sooner!
We have had our bike a few months now…
We have had our bike a few months now and have had such a great experience, from the initial ordering and the fact they had organised delivery to a local bike specialist who built and serviced the bike was outstanding. We also had a small issue with a lock, this was instantly replaced. Rebecca at Blike has been on the other end of a phone call or email to ensure everything is sorted. First rate customer service and would highly recommend this comps. We are renting a Rad Wagon 4 to test out a cargo e-bike. The kids love it as do the looks and conversations it starts in our town.

Absolutely brilliant experience throughout. Setting up your account and ordering the ebike takes a few steps but communication throughout has been excellent. Helpful and friendly customer service team. Lovely staff at the workshop. I rented the Cowboy 4 for 6 weeks. Very good ebike for the time I needed it. 100% recommend Blike to anyone who's looking for an ebike but can't commit to purchasing one immediately.

Great service, awesome bike, affordable price. The pay monthly model made it possible for me to obtain and use an ebike without having to outright buy it - something i wouldn't be able to otherwise justify.

Disappointing experience
I recently had an unfortunate experience with Blike which left me extremely dissatisfied with their customer service. From the very beginning, my frustration grew as my order was mishandled and poorly addressed.
Firstly, I placed an order for a specific bike model, only to be informed three days later that they did not have it in stock. They recommended a smaller bike, claiming ‘it might be better for me anyway’. It seemed evident that they were more interested in clearing their warehouse stock than meeting my specific needs.
To exacerbate matters, another representative jumped into the email chain without fully understanding the situation, causing further confusion and delays in finding a resolution. Eventually, I was provided with a phone number to discuss the matter, but to my dismay, the phone was constantly unreachable. The replies I received through email were defensively worded, lacking the friendliness and empathy one would expect from a customer service team. Despite their occasional apologies, their tone did not convey sincerity.
While I understand that there may be reasonable explanations for each point raised, Blike’s approach to addressing my concerns fell short. A simple phone call in the beginning could have resolved the issue and avoided the unnecessary back-and-forth. It is disheartening when a company fails to prioritize customer satisfaction and communication.
Overall, my experience with Blike left a lot to be desired. The lack of transparency, mismanagement of orders, defensive responses, and unavailability via phone call make it difficult for me to recommend their services to others. I sincerely hope they address these issues and improve their customer service practices in the future.
