“To create an unique, environmentally friendly product that could really and finally stop deer damage.” That was the goal over 30 years ago of our founder Robert Ecsedy. His vision, determination and ingenuity launched and propelled Bobbex to being recognized today as the leader in safe and effective animal repellents. Bobbex Overview: A Passioned Beginning In the late 1980s, Robert “Bob” Ecsedy (last name pronounced X-City, and known as “Bob-X” to his friends) lived in Newtown, Connecticut and worked in sales. A graduate of the University of Bridgeport with a degree in chemistry, Bob represented various chemical companies in support of Northeast manufacturing. Bob’s personal interests centered around horticulture and gardening, serving for several years as the President of the Fairfield Horticultural Society. Once retired, Bob Ecsedy dedicated himself even further to his gardening passion, planting and managing a large garden with over 300 tomato plants. Bob used a slurry of fish products as a “more natural” fertilizer for his crops. He noticed that after using his unique mixture, deer tended to avoid eating the fertilized plants. At that moment, the “seeds for sowing a new product” were planted! Combining his chemistry background and horticultural experience, Bob began passionately tinkered with the formulation as he tested a number of changes and variations to improve repellency and longevity. Soon his formula was perfected, and Bob began offering the mixture to friends and associates for trial and comment. This included local garden centers where he took his product for a professional and unbiased assessment. The results were conclusive and unanimous: Robert “Bob” Ecsedy’s Deer Repellent REALLY WORKED! And with that, “Bob-X” launched Bobbex! Bobbex Overview: A Dedicated Future Bob Ecsedy’s success in creating a product to keep deer away from plants was just the beginning for Bobbex Inc. Pleased with the product and the packaging for shipping.
I have previously ordered this product from online retailers and it wasn't packed correctly and smashed into other product and leaked. I ordered directly from Bobbex online and the product was packed tightly in a sturdy carton with plenty of packing material. It arrived in great shape, ready for use.

Always been a great product from a great company. I have used this product since the 90's and have never had a bite taken from any of my treated plants (unless I neglected to treat within the recommended allotted time).

Great product
Great product, I use it at my garden center. Mix it 1to6 and apply every day and don’t miss a spot.We have a thousand deer in 5 square miles surrounded by National park, no hunting allowed and dozens of people feed the deer, many by hand. The deer have no natural predators

Excellent deer repellant.
This product is really great. I buy the 2.5 gallon concentrate jug, that makes up a LOT of gallons, it lasts for years, a mixed batch will last through the winter, you don't have to use it all up fast. It does an excellent job of repelling deer, and respraying every 2 or 3 weeks is a good plan. Highly recommended.

I have been using the product since 2022. I started a backyard orchard in my backyard there in the name backyard orchard. Well I live in Philadelphia Proper. Our property comes up to a nice little wooden area that meets with a country club and a little airport. Needless to say there are many deer. Once I found BOBBEX ALL OF THE PRESSURE FROM THE DEER IS GONE. I’m a member of the Pennsylvania horticultural society I sing the praise of bobbex to everyone. When you call Timmy will help you. Did not work!! Sprayed it on 1-2 days later every bloom coming on our daylilies was eaten!
I was so MAD 😤🤬😠 a neighbor had recommended it to us! Obviously, our neighbor must hate us! Needless to say we put an electric fence up now!! we bought $71.98 worth of this product. It really stinks. 🥴😮🙊
Which obviously you don’t want if you want to spend time out on your front porch. Or just outside your house at all. It’s really bad. 😷

I love Bobbex
I love Bobbex! We have tons of deer and rabbits and other critters who like to eat my plants. Bobbex really does work -- animals stay away from my plants. I've tried other products, but nothing comes close to Bobbex. Also, I was impressed with the short time I waited from placing my order and receiving it.
