“To create an unique, environmentally friendly product that could really and finally stop deer damage.” That was the goal over 30 years ago of our founder Robert Ecsedy. His vision, determination and ingenuity launched and propelled Bobbex to being recognized today as the leader in safe and effective animal repellents. Bobbex Overview: A Passioned Beginning In the late 1980s, Robert “Bob” Ecsedy (last name pronounced X-City, and known as “Bob-X” to his friends) lived in Newtown, Connecticut and worked in sales. A graduate of the University of Bridgeport with a degree in chemistry, Bob represented various chemical companies in support of Northeast manufacturing. Bob’s personal interests centered around horticulture and gardening, serving for several years as the President of the Fairfield Horticultural Society. Once retired, Bob Ecsedy dedicated himself even further to his gardening passion, planting and managing a large garden with over 300 tomato plants. Bob used a slurry of fish products as a “more natural” fertilizer for his crops. He noticed that after using his unique mixture, deer tended to avoid eating the fertilized plants. At that moment, the “seeds for sowing a new product” were planted! Combining his chemistry background and horticultural experience, Bob began passionately tinkered with the formulation as he tested a number of changes and variations to improve repellency and longevity. Soon his formula was perfected, and Bob began offering the mixture to friends and associates for trial and comment. This included local garden centers where he took his product for a professional and unbiased assessment. The results were conclusive and unanimous: Robert “Bob” Ecsedy’s Deer Repellent REALLY WORKED! And with that, “Bob-X” launched Bobbex! Bobbex Overview: A Dedicated Future Bob Ecsedy’s success in creating a product to keep deer away from plants was just the beginning for Bobbex Inc. UPS is delivering one day late
UPS is delivering one day late, even though the product was at their station 25 miles away yesterday! Going out of town Saturday and really wanted the product in time to spray before leaving.

So far, so good.
I only received this product about a week ago, so I can't give a solid review about efficacy, since the marauding deer don't always work on my schedule, and I can't say how well it will work in the long term. That said, the price is fair, it was delivered promptly and well packaged, the directions are easy to follow, and yes, it does have quite the odor...as expected. I applied it last week, and have had no further browsing on my poor little apple tree. I will reapply it again today, because we had monsoon force rains yesterday. and I want to be sure my tree is still protected. So far, so good, and the size I order will be enough to last well into next season I think. I am reserving one star because I was asked for review before I could really judge the long term effectiveness, but I have a good feeling about this product and it has had many, many rave reviews.

It's working!
We've had a terrible time with deer eating our flowers. We've tried several products, so far Bobbex is keeping the deer away!! Praying it continues to work.

Bobbex is the best thing you can buy!
Bobbex is the best thing you can buy to keep the critters away! Just by keeping up on the spraying, your plants are safe!! I've used lots of things, but Bobbex is hands down the best! I was very disappointed in the delivery, though. The box was left at the street by the mailbox, falling into the road. It would have been very easy to steal or could have gotten run over. I don't understand why it wasn't delivered to the house.

Best Deer Repellent
This product is the best for repelling deer . We have used other products to repel deer with little to any success, until we started using Bobbex. Si ce using Bobbex our plants have not been eaten by deer, and are now thriving in our gardens. Highly recommend this product
