“To create an unique, environmentally friendly product that could really and finally stop deer damage.” That was the goal over 30 years ago of our founder Robert Ecsedy. His vision, determination and ingenuity launched and propelled Bobbex to being recognized today as the leader in safe and effective animal repellents. Bobbex Overview: A Passioned Beginning In the late 1980s, Robert “Bob” Ecsedy (last name pronounced X-City, and known as “Bob-X” to his friends) lived in Newtown, Connecticut and worked in sales. A graduate of the University of Bridgeport with a degree in chemistry, Bob represented various chemical companies in support of Northeast manufacturing. Bob’s personal interests centered around horticulture and gardening, serving for several years as the President of the Fairfield Horticultural Society. Once retired, Bob Ecsedy dedicated himself even further to his gardening passion, planting and managing a large garden with over 300 tomato plants. Bob used a slurry of fish products as a “more natural” fertilizer for his crops. He noticed that after using his unique mixture, deer tended to avoid eating the fertilized plants. At that moment, the “seeds for sowing a new product” were planted! Combining his chemistry background and horticultural experience, Bob began passionately tinkered with the formulation as he tested a number of changes and variations to improve repellency and longevity. Soon his formula was perfected, and Bob began offering the mixture to friends and associates for trial and comment. This included local garden centers where he took his product for a professional and unbiased assessment. The results were conclusive and unanimous: Robert “Bob” Ecsedy’s Deer Repellent REALLY WORKED! And with that, “Bob-X” launched Bobbex! Bobbex Overview: A Dedicated Future Bob Ecsedy’s success in creating a product to keep deer away from plants was just the beginning for Bobbex Inc. Best products out there
Been buying Bobbex deer repellent for many years, and glad I found it years ago. I have a lot of deer so I need a product that works.

Ordering was easy
Ordering was easy. My shipped order arrived quickly. I was overrun by critters since I had had surgery and was unable to spray my Bobbex deer repellent for nearly two months. One application of the Deer, Rabbit, Small Animal mix and most of the critters are gone. I also appreciated the sale price which saved me some much needed funds since I'd also missed some work after surgery.

Bobbex just works!
I'm happy to see a formulation specifically for winter. I previously have used both the deer and animal repellents which work better than anything else I have tried. I actually get to see my landscape in bloom! I ordered and the product was shipped the next day for free! Always great service from Bobbex.

It works!
Bobbex, in my experience, is the best deterrent to deer. When hungry and no food is available in their normal habitat, deer will eat anything. But, overall, Bobbex has kept my hostas, roses, clematis, and lilies from becoming deer food, as long as I spray as instructed on the container.

It’s a bit of a miracle find.
I have used other anti-deer sprays previous to finding/using Bobbex to limited and disappointing success. Bobbex Deer Spray was a welcome “miracle”. Works like a charm. Used for a couple years now. Never failed. I recommend to everyone now.

Nothing works better!
I having been using Bobbex a long, long time. In two states, north and south. NOTHING works as well as Bobbex, but you must keep a regular schedule for applying. And, if you can, apply immediately after planting so the deer don't think they found something new.
They are always in stock and ships quickly. If you have a problem they are there to help. TERRIFIC product!!!

4 stars not 5 because initial order came with leakage, then no one answered email. When I finally called in, I was helped promptly. I've used the product before and found it helpful for my garden.

Bobbex works great, but….
Bobbex works better than all competitors. I do wish they would go back to their prior bottle manufacturer. Their prior spray bottle mfg. produced a bottle with 2 selections of spray, a broad spray, or a long targeted spray. Their new spray bottle does not have the additional, long targeted spray choice. Instead both choices are broad sprays.

I switched from Deer Off to Bobex…
I switched from Deer Off to Bobex thinking to change things up within a few days all the hostas were chewed. I applied a 2 nd application and within a week all were decimated. Not the results I expected.
