Bonobos Avis 28

After 4 months, it started fraying. I use it 2 times a week. Very poor quality and durability. I have similar pants (size, fit, material, etc.) from other brands, and they lasted for years. This one, very short-lived for almost $100.

There is nothing good that I can say about Bonobos. I purchased 2 of their everyday oxford cloth shirts which were misrepresented in their descriptions on the website. The shirts were not traditional oxford cloth and the construction and quality of the shirts were poor. When I contacted them to return the shirts they argued with me. They agreed that the shirts were misrepresented, but instead of refunding my money they gave me a credit. So I wouldn't lose my money I purchased 2 pair of their weekday warrior dress pants. For the price, the quality of the material is poor and the construction is substandard. One of the pairs of pants was cut on such a bias that the crease on one of the pant legs was almost 2 inches off from center. Once again, I contacted Bonobos and they refused to refund my money again--which I have since found out is illegal.
I still had a credit and I purchased 2 of their Pima performance Tees, which are of poor quality.
There is nothing good about this company--this includes the customer service, the company policies, and most of all the quality of their products. I highly recommend that you avoid this company and their products--the only thing that they are good at is their marketing.

Customer service is good. The quality of their products has declined substantially. Shame because they used to be great!

Bad, bad, bad. The clothing has gotten so cheap and is so overpriced. But even worse is their customer service. If you are going to spend your hard earned money on clothes, do not buy Bonobos clothing if you care about quality, and fit. I also think I heard their clothing is loaded in PFAS. Dangerous.

Do not buy anything from them. They appear to be reputable from the front end (website, retails store locations, marketing) but generally the products are somewhat sub par for the prices. Also there sizes on their fits are totally inconsistent; a tailored 29 can be a slim fit 31 on another pant with the same description. If you decide to buy DO NOT BUY FINAL SALES as the probabillity of the sizing being off is like most absolute. I will do more resreach on their supply chain but I have a feeling it’s not as high end as they try to portray.

Atrocious quality, pants started to show pilling on pants after literally 1 day (!!!) of wearing! 1 day! Went back to the store to return that piece of garbage immediately. The worst quality I've ever seen.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from them. Sadly, the reviews about poor, non-existent customer service are true. I am struggling to get a refund. Emails have not been returned. There is no chat function or phone humber. I will never order from them again.

For years I have been happy with Bonobos. Unfortunately, they no longer have customer service. Just received an order that has to be returned. There was a problem dealing with it on line, and just a recording when I call customer service. They say use the "chat box" on their web page. There is no chat box. I just received a message that they are sending me another pair of the pants that I want to return!! Now I have two pairs of pants to return.
Didn't realize that Walmart has taken them over.
Sadly, I'll not be ordering from Bonobos again. Was one of the few places that carried a large selection of small sizes. I guess all good things come to an end.

Emails about a missed delivery are never replied to. The chat function is nonexistent.

Bonobos has the worst customer service. We ordered a digital gift card for our son’s birthday. Their site states that the gift card will be sent same day. It’s now 4 days later and no card was sent. We not only missed having a gift for our son’s birthday but haven’t been able to speak to anyone about the delay either through email, phone or text!!!! They DID charge our credit card which I will attempt to cancel the sale. I will NEVER do business with them again! Terrible buisness practice

Just found out Bonobos put my info on the dark web. They did mine back in Jan of 2021. Buls#it! Buls#it sh#t clothes company!

Ordered two pairs of corduroy shorts, they were comfortable and good quality. I also ordered a shirt for $120. I was not a fan of how short the shirt was so I used the return label they sent me and 3.5 weeks later they claim they haven't received the item. Nice clothes but I am probably out a good chunk of money, and they are no help in helping me track the package.

*UPDATE*
After writing this review just yesterday, I have received a email that the refund has been processed. They refunded me via “store credit” since I placed the order over 45 days ago. This is despite the fact I mailed this shirt back to bonobos using their provided label over 20 days ago. I’m convinced they didn’t process the return until after 45 days so they could issue store credit instead of cash refund. For what I can only write up to bad business practices towards a first time customer trying out a new clothing company I will be lowering it to one star. Again clothes are decent if you get lucky and they fit, just be comfortable with the risk of shady business practices from Bonobos CS.

I can't speak to the customer service of this company, as I have not had any issues that necessitate reaching out; that said, I can speak to the quality and size offerings. My son is quite tall but not bulky, and my spouse is not so tall. Both of them fall on opposite spectrums that are just outside of norms and well outside of the pant sizes we can find in stores. Tailoring pants and shirt sleeve lengths is nearly always necessary for my spouse, which works, but it’s time-consuming and starts to get costly when you need most items overhauled. Finding off-the-rack options has been a constant struggle. We happened to find a pair of Bonobos at a thrift store, of all places, and quickly fell in love with the combination of size options and quality. The convenience is great, but the confidence regained from being able to wear clothes right off the rack is something we don't take for granted. We've purchased from Bonobos several times, and I expect we will again.

Top-notch service, great quality clothes, everything fits perfectly.

Customer service has better things to do than to help out the customer.
The customer is wrong because they’ve been doin this for 10 years, so everything they do is right. How quickly can they get you off the phone while making you feel invalidated.

Product quality terrible

Their clothes are fine, they come in extended sizes which in my opinion they should do more of. I am a true medium and often I am buying XL or 2x to get my size which means the true xl-2x are low on options. They are owned by Walmart, which they don’t like to tell people and they are also I’ve heard gross to their staff which they don’t like to tell people. I used to like to shop there but I spoke with an ex-employee once by happenstance that completely stopped me from shopping there. We were chatting at a coffee shop because they nicely commented on a shirt I was wearing from there, lovely man, and we got to talking. They told me about how they loved their job but eventually quit because they had the best sales numbers in the entire EAST COAST for so long, and the leadership said their “personality” was the reason they didn’t get the promotion to leadership of sales. You guessed it, it’s a simple case of racist behavior- this man was Black, and it broke my heart that he was amazing at his job and they treated him like that. I could tell he wasn’t lying either because he was so personable and discerning that you would trust his opinion if you were asking his shopping advice. We had a great conversation very easily because he was easy to talk to. I’m not surprised the upper management & leadership there doesn’t support their staff as a Walmart conglomerate; but I will not be shopping there anymore in solidarity with that mans experience.

These shirts are high quality cloth with ironing necessary.

I have made several orders over the past 2+ years. Best off-the-rack sizing options for causal work pants and khakis that I have found anywhere. As a not- so-tall guy, being able to get a variety of trimmer pants with inseams that fit right out of the box is great. Pants have all held up great. Cotton sweaters are also more upscale than most others I have found and also have a trim cut, rather than a typical full fit. Definitely one of my go-to shops for men’s clothing.
