Sent my 40-year-old vintage 20 eyelet Doc Marten boots to be resoled and a few extra repairs. 100% satisfied with the interaction with the support team (Tom) and the quality of the repairs. Should last another 40 years!! For Doc Marten repairs I would give them 6 stars if possible.

I sent back some Jadon Dr Martens for a sole replacement. As it was mid-December, I contacted customer service to check they were still able to accept them this side of Christmas and Tom was very helpful explaining turnaround times right off the bat. They arrived 17th December and I expected not to get them back until the New Year. Then they arrived back today on Christmas Eve! Absolutely amazing workmanship, the new soles look and feel amazing and the boots have been polished too. Cannot fault the Boots Repair company at all, from start to finish I have been impressed. Thank you so much team, I will definitely be using again if I have any more boots that need some TLC 😊

I sent photos of my cowboy boots over to check they could be repaired - they could! It was easy to pay and post them off. They took a little longer than the 2-4 weeks estimated (my boots required specific soles, so just bear this in mind if you have an ‘unusual’ or specialist repair). Rachelle was really responsive and kept me up-to-date, even getting them back to me just in time for Christmas. This will have been a tricky repair and the stitching is perfect. Thanks Rachelle, and team!

In December 2024, I used the services of The Boot Repair Company for my Dubarry boots. These boots, rarely worn, had slightly cracked original soles. Given their impeccable condition and the high cost of a product I love, I agreed to pay nearly €150 for resoling both boots.

I sent my boots to them, and the resoling was carried out. The repair was fairly neat, but after less than a month of use, the soles started to come away on both boots, at the upper bend and almost along the entire heel. The customer service acknowledged an adhesion problem and asked me to send my boots back. Trusting them, I agreed and sent the boots for a second repair.

When I received them after this second intervention, I noticed that my boots had been quite damaged: the leather around the sole, about 0.5 mm, had been scraped, presumably to improve adhesion. I decided not to complain as long as I was happy to get my boots back.

I wore them very little during the rest of the winter. At the end of September 2025, I finally wore my boots again in conditions that were far from extreme (a forest walk on 20/09/2025), on relatively even and dry terrain. Yet, after only 1 hour 30 minutes of walking, my feet were soaked.

My boots, which cost me nearly €600 including repairs, are therefore no longer in as good a condition as before sending them for repair, and are no longer waterproof.

I sent an email with photos showing my boots and my soaked socks, as well as the condition of the leather after the second resoling. They offered to have them sent back a third time. I am now waiting for the manager to return from leave to see what can be done.

Resoling a third time is no longer feasible given the condition of the leather after the second repair.

I hope a lasting solution can be found, as I trusted this company, which seemed to offer a good repair service for quality products, despite the repair being expensive considering the current outcome.

I should note, however, that the customer service is quite responsive and attentive, and all communications have been very friendly. I hope to leave a better review once a solution has been found.

Re-soled my favourite DMs with a sturdier Bex sole. Unbelievably quick turnaround as it is the week before Xmas. Free collection and delivery. What's not to like? Very happy

I probably have another 15 years of wear out of my boots now. Brilliant job and great workmanship.

Had my Solovair boots resoled and they came back looking and feeling like new. Fantastic! The uppers were in great condition before repair and I was reluctant to throw the boots out because the sole was worn out and cracked. In any case a new pair is close on £200. This repair was beautifully done and a brilliant solution! Thank you!

I would like to express my sincere thanks for the most amazing repair of my Polo Boots. The sole had completely detached and the zips were worn out. The Boot Repair Company kept me informed on the progress and advised on the new zips. I would not hesitate to use them again! Merry Christmas

Did an excellent job on resoling and replacing the welt on an old pair of Redwings. They look like new again, and much cheaper than buying a replacement pair. Would definitely recommend and will be using again.

They did a great job resoling my 7yr old boots - and included some new insoles and laces to boot! It took less than 2 weeks from postage to receipt.

An amazing company with really lovely, helpful staff. I thought my UGG boots had died, the soles had nearly disappeared but with one phone call they were wrapped and shipped too be mended. I’ve now got them back and they look amazing, I can’t bring myself to take them off. Thank you so much and to lively Rachelle who I the lovely lady I spoke to, thank you again.

PS I have 2 other pairs of UGGs which I’m sure at some point will need to visit The Boot Repair Co for rest and revitalisation.

Just received my DM boots back after a zip replacement . The zip they’ve inserted is silver not gold like the original , so it does not match my other boot and looks ridiculous to be worn. I cannot believe they consider this a satisfactory repair. The zip is inserted so unevenly and also is sewn so close to the leather in places that I can’t do up the zip without it ripping into the leather seam and tearing it. The tension of the bobbin thread is wrong so the threads can just be pulled i.e the zip is not securely even stitched down. I am taking this case further as The Boot Repair Company have completely ruined my expensive pair of boots .

I had a pair of well loved and well used Birkenstock Arizona sandals that I thought I would have to throw away. However I am thrilled that the Boot Repair Company have a fantastic rebuild service where you can specify the type of footbed and tread colour and I have an as new pair of sandals and saved the planet! They can replace buckles and rivets. Terrific value for money and all at the company a delight to deal with. They are transparent on turn round times for a skilled job but more than met my expectations on my tight deadline. Recommend this honest reliable company unreservedly. Thank you.

From the first 'phone call to Boot Repair they were charming and helpful, took note of all my requests and made sending the (Dubarry) wellies to them very simple. They let me know when they had arrived. The boots came back to me today - two weeks after I sent them - and they are absolutely perfect. They have done a beautiful job on my much-loved wellies which i expect to last me another twenty years. A bargain cost when looked at against replacement and really wonderful people to deal with. An excellent service to restore tread grip to boots. Boot leather seems to last a lot longer than a grippy tread so we had some very old but still comfortable Henri Lloyd boots repaired and it is fantastic to be able to use them again. I am about to send off another slightly newer pair of Musto boots after this success. When new sailing boots cost at least £150 now it is worth maximising use of current ones with a retread when they are still perfectly functional in all other respects

I had to have a Birkenstock sandal raised 12mm.
From first contact to receiving raised sandal, service was very prompt
and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Raised height was very well done. Neat job. Would highly recommend and definitely use again
