Currently pregnant picked up the wrong pregnancy vitiams I picked up omega 3 concercaption instead of during pregnancy . These vitiams cost me €25.i realised when i came home . The box was full sealed and untouched and I had my receipt. I went back into the shop and no way would they swap them out even tho I had the receipt and only brought . We are in a cost of living crisis €25 is a lot of money and these vitiam are of no use to me . I was going to shop boots for all my pregnancy bits but I will never shop there again

Awful Boots experience

I asked TWO assistants behind the counter if I was buying the right replacement head for my electric toothbrush (Iah the brush and old head with me and showed them). They said yes. It didn't fit and when I went back to the store they wouldn't refund me and told me rudely to 'read the back of the receipt' for the exchange policy. I would have accepted the policy if they had said they don't know if the news heads would fit, but THEY told me it would before I bought it, now I am left with the wasted cost and somehow they are angry with me??

Where is my order?

I used the special Tuesday online offer to order on 28 April. I was going to be away for the next week so I requested delivery to the Boots store near to where I would be so that I would receive the goods (tablets I had run out of etc) as soon as possible. I got a message that they'd be there "on or, before May 1". I rang the store on 1st and 2nd and the goods still hadn't arrived. I rang Customer service to be told that my order had been sent to the wrong place but they couldn't tell me where! I was told that it would be redirected to the requested store. However as I would be gone by the time it arrived, it would be sent back and I would get a refund. The cost was enough- over Euro 64 - that I would have qualified for home delivery. As I was going away I had thought I'd get it sooner through a store. What a mistake!
I wondered could it now be delivered directly to me. No.
This experience has been extremely frustrating and Customer Service has been very unhelpful. On the other hand anyone in store that I spoke to was most pleasant but unable to help.

I used to be a very good customer of Boots but lately their customer service is appalling. I’ve sent in numerous emails regarding an issue with my advantage points. They’re not being added to my account correctly, I’ve sent pictures showing this but every reply from their support just asks the same questions that the previous agent just asked. I’m not shopping with them anymore as it’s not worth the hassle and there’s plenty of other companies to shop with.

Divest and tell all you know not to shop here

I would recommend against shopping online at Boots. They did not deliver two of the items in my order and will not refund me, essentially stealing my money. I have now moved my custom to an Irish online pharmacy(Inish Pharmacy) and recommend divesting from companies like Boots who are untrustworthy and not customer focussed. Any response from Boots on Trustpilot is also an untrustworthy copy-paste job; I reached out after their response on my last review and there was no change in reply behind closed doors.

ROSELAWN Dublin 15 Store. Bady Run Needs Revamping or Shut Down.

Shelves filthy

Never even have basic products in stock.
Staff say go to our store in Blanchardstown shopping centre.
Why cant they have every day items in stock. Untidy badly run .
Needs closing down or an instant upgrade..

A very happy customer

I was in Liffey Valley on Saturday 18th April and as l was passing Boots a girl asked me if l would like to listen to a demonstration on their new range No 7 Prime Forever, it was beautiful, creams felt so lovely on my skin. When demonstration was over the lady asked us to look under our chair. I was the winner. I won all the products value 170 euro, l was so thrilled it made my day and week.
I also go my skin tested on the No 7 counter which is free for everyone.
The staff were all so lovely definitely a No 7 customer for life and l will tell all my friends. Thank you so much

Website has several bugs...

Website has several bugs affecting user experience. Including
Inability to properly save state on user login
Inability to properly save state of user's basket
Server generates incorrect redirect links leading to URI too long errors. I cannot log in because of this. My user experience is completely halted.
All of these are server-side errors that should not be apparent in a company this big.
Get a college cs student to do it. It's embarrassing for a company like this to have a website as bad as that.

Was going to spend a decent amount of money on products but the inability to log in, check my basket or properly generate redirect links made me stop and choose another retailer.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever! Another delivery and all smashed, no response from boots. If that's how it suppose to look, the business will close soon.

I qualified for Boots Clinique offer but did not receive my gift

I qualified for Boots Clinique offer of free gift with purchase of two products. Boots did not include the gift in my delivery, claiming when I complained that it was subject to availability. However over a week later the offer is still available on their website. So for over a week they have been scamming customers to purchase 2 Clinique products for a gift they apparently don’t have in stock. Disgraceful

Boots has handled this appalling…

Boots has handled this appalling situation extremely poorly and I want an immediate resolution.
I placed an order through the Boots app on 3 April for home delivery, order number 822209752. On 8 April, Boots delivered the wrong package to me. I contacted customer care immediately by email at 10:50am to report their mistake and to ask where my actual order was.
By 10 April, I had still received no response, which is completely unacceptable. I then had to call customer service myself. My first call was a terrible experience. The representative was unhelpful, and when I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, the call was ended. That is not acceptable customer service under any circumstances.
I called again and, while the second representative showed more empathy, the outcome was still unacceptable. Boots are effectively holding both my order and my money hostage because they refuse to issue a refund or resend my original order until I return the incorrect package that they sent in the first place, either in store or via An Post.
This is Boots’ error, yet I am the one being inconvenienced, left without my order, and potentially waiting up to 14 days to get my money back or receive what I actually paid for. That is disgraceful service and a completely unfair way to treat a customer.

Unreliable Delivery, Used Item, Zero Accountability – Boots Online Fails on All Fronts

Terrible experience – avoid ordering urgent or expensive items from Boots online.

I ordered a car seat with a 6-day delivery window. It didn't arrive. When I called, I was told to wait another day, then another, and eventually informed I'd need to wait 10 business days before a replacement could even be considered. To resolve it myself, I contacted the delivery partner directly and arranged to collect the item from their distribution unit.

On getting home, I discovered the car seat was used. When I called customer care, I was given a supplier contact number and told to deal with them directly, apparently per Boots' own T&Cs. The number didn't work. Calling back, I was then told the item came from a Boots warehouse and would need to be returned and inspected before a replacement could be sent. I explained this was urgent as it was affecting plans with my family. I was told that if I returned it in-store, a replacement would be dispatched immediately.

That wasn't true. After returning it in-store, I was told the operations team would need to inspect it first. Calling again, I was informed the approval process could take 1–14 days, with no guarantee on delivery timeframes. The advisor ended the call without apology.

Four calls. Contradictory information every time. A used item. Delays I had to solve myself. I would not recommend ordering anything time-sensitive or high-value from Boots online.

Don't bother appalling customers service

I have ordered from on line and received an item smashed with broken glass all over the box. I have emailed 3 time's and called twice.

I have been ignored via email.

And told on the phone 1st that a refund has been processed, and the 2nd time that no refund has been processed to again send another email to another email address.

I have received an email to say my return has been rejected.

And moments later a claim form sent out?

I have already emailed with images.

Do i have to retun the box with smashed glass to the store?

UPDATE

I have since been contacted by 'customer service' after posting on social media about my experience and I am waiting on a 'review' that takes 14 working days. If a porely packaged glass item arrives damaged then there is no need of review, especially after providing photos of said damge.

Assistance in shops cannot add points to card.

Terrible, non-existent customer service

My advantage card offers are loaded onto my card but not being applied at checkout. Depsite troubleshooting and doing everything else that might resolve the issue, this is an ongoing problem. Customer service has advised contacting them when my orders have despatched so that they can add the points on, but despite advising this previously, they no longer want to follow this through. The only representative that has been helpful to me has been Tejanna.
This is an ordeal each time I place an order, so much so, that it has put me off shopping at Boots altogether. I provide screenshots, all my personal details, and all the requested information, and each time I am met with a generic copy and paste response asking me to provide the same details I have already provided. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The advantage card is the main reason I shop with Boots and with this being an issue and customer service being so unhelpful, I will now shop elsewhere.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered a Zima Dental Pod to clean my son’s aligners on 01/03/2026, paying €100, but I never received the product. I have sent multiple emails to orders department
and customer care and have not received any response or update whatsoever. At this point, it feels like I have been completely ignored. This has been an extremely disappointing experience, and I will not be ordering from Boots again.

Boots.ie is the Worst Customer Service ever

I would have to agree with most reviewers here on Trustpilot. Boots Customer Service is a disgrace. I tried to complete an order online yesterday 4 times but each one was cancelled by Boots. The 1st payment went through on Paypal. I rang Customer Service this morning and the girl said there was nothing she could do and she couldn't tell me why the 4 orders were cancelled. I asked if she could put the order in or what should I do - she didn't know. What kind of Customer Service is this? I tried again just now and changed order slightly, still cancelled. I would like an explanation from Boots as to why this is happening.

I SEE A RESPONSE FROM BOOTS CUSTOMER SERVICE TODAY 13TH APRIL WHICH IS A JOKE. I HAVE EMAILED THEM TWICE AND USED THE CONTACT PAGE TO GET IN TOUCH, EVEN LEFT MOBILE NO. AND NO RESPONSE AT ALL. I PUT THIS MESSAGE HERE AS I AM NOT ABLE TO REPLY TO THEIR POST FUNNY ENOUGH. WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE KIDDING !!!!

They fail their customers

I would give them 0 stars if I could. The way they treat their customers , people don't want to go back ! My family been loyal Boots customers since 2004 but we do not shop with them since 2022...Brutal customer service, actually none. If you email them expect no reply . The website is simply is disgrace, anything you try to buy on sales - guaranteed transaction failure, as your payment will be cancelled by Boots ! A special promotion Scam . It is not once , every time we've tried to buy something over the years, after they sent us a clickbate special promotion emails ! The money you collect on your Advantage Card , that they promise will never exprire, they can erase whenever they want! I had a balance of €27,40 on boots Advantage card , they brought it to zero in March 2022 ! Shocking. I stopped shopping with them since. Do not bother waste your time and nerves.

PS : I got an automated AI reply (as eveyone else here) from a bot. That's no use, Boots just pretending to care. They do not care !
I recommend to shop elsewhere, eg notino- for perfume, and local stores, penneys, other online stores for cosmetics etc.. they are also cheaper than Boots !
