Booked s cab for 9.15 in order to catch a train driver arrived at 9.45.No phone call to advise the driver was running late!!!Absolutely disgusting customer service.

I contacted Boxall Taxis as a last hope. My 100-year-old great uncle is housebound and had used hospital transport to attend a medical appointment in Cambridge. After waiting five hours to be brought home, we were told his return hospital transport had been cancelled.

I called every taxi company in Cambridge trying to find an accessible vehicle, but with no success. My uncle’s care home then gave me Boxall’s number. I spoke to AJ who, despite the late hour, had two accessible vehicles available and immediately dispatched one to us. As soon as the taxi was on its way, we received tracking details with information about both the vehicle and the driver - which was incredibly reassuring.

Baz, the driver, was calm, kind, and professional. Despite all of us feeling fraught and rather grumpy after such a long day, he handled everything with patience and care, and securely fastened my uncle’s wheelchair without any fuss. My sister was able to follow behind in her car, and my uncle was delivered safely back to his care home.

After such a stressful experience, Boxall Taxis were an absolute lifeline. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and highly recommend their service.

Great service for our taxi to and from Heathrow airport! Communication was great, driver was there on time and the taxi was comfortable and large enough for our family of five with 5 cases and 5 hand luggage.

Booked on app last night. Booking had disappeared this morning. I went on app again and booked for pick up now. App kept changing driver and arrival time. I ended up cancelling and drove and eventually found a parking spot. Missed train and was late for important meeting in London. Will never use them again.

Unreliable taxi firm. The office handler tells you a time frame that suits and isn’t actually the correct time. My cab was 17 minutes late today. Driver blamed the office and the office blamed the driver. Missed my train and meeting. No one cares - how anyone can run a business like this I will never know !! Won’t be using again and I’ve been a customer for years.

Have used many times and they have always turned up on time so in this respect they have been reliable.But some of the drivers drive too fast, too close to cars in front and this makes for an unpleasant passenger experience.
They should also wait until passengers have put seat belts on before starting to drive.
Some of the drivers are friendly and very nice, equally some of them obviously do not want to be there and seem quite grumpy...a smile costs nothing.

There ore booking policy is unfair you should be informed that their base is in Hitchin as I was charged same price for 20 min journey as 10 minute journey

Had bas in car 39 pick me up today and couldn’t have asked for anyone better sound guy and very talkative, overall great dude

Taxis don’t indicate when turning around or turning into residential parking.

Arrived early and greatly helpful and polite even in the early mornings! Updates and good driving go a long way and Bas was class at everything. Would use again in a heartbeat.

So booked a taxi for my wife and I and my daughter husband and 2 grandchildren to Heathrow and return. One journey in the early hours.

Excellent service kept updated by text throughout. Drivers friendly and helpful and vehicles clean and tidy.

Highly recommended and will be my preferred choice in future.

We booked a month ago from New Zealand. Arrived at Heathrow and our driver was waiting. He was excellent and we had a great drive to Baldock. We strongly recommend Boxall Taxis and will be using them again for our return trip to Heathrow
