Hi Tom, thanks very much for leaving us this excellent review. Great to hear you were happy with everything. Thanks again, Luke, Boyle's Solid Fuels
Fabulous service
My first time ordering from Boyles but certainly won't be the last. Ordered a large bag of logs for €199.00 & free delivery .Within 2 days they arrived and the large bag was exceptional value. The logs were wrapped up very well on the pallet preventing any rain from getting through. I wasn't advised of the delivery date by the courier but that was a minor issue considering the courier ensured the pallet was well placed in the garden with no safety issue worries.
All in all I was extremely happy with everything and will definitely be buying from Boyle fuels again.

Highly recommended
I have ordered from Boyles now for a few years, wood is excellent, kiln-dried, burns well great heat. Much better quality than other suppliers!!. They are also excellent on delivery; I order for my mother with specific instructions as to where to leave the pallet, so as not to block her car. The delivery drivers always take the time to position well. Highly recommended Tom P stillorgan

Rapid, delivery, Keen prices, well dried logs & no nonsense
Pretty amazing to be honest. They usually close up for the summer and preorders normally don't start until Sept 1st but I'm my case I was surprised to receive the delivery from 22 August within 2 working days first thing in the morning and dropped off in a safe place. It was well packaged for rain too so I didn't have to worry about unpacking it straight away. Cannot praise this supplier enough and they have been my main supplier for some time now as a result.
Really good deals if you go in person to their depot which might be worth it at certain times of the year for smaller batches.

Excellent supplier .
In May ‘25 I was one of the unfortunates who ordered - and paid in advance for - kiln-Dries oak from Rathwood : I am still waiting on delivery ! On Monday of this week I ordered a 2 crates of kiln-dried oak from Boyles : it arrived today ! Timber looks excellent . Well done - you have a customer for life !

The service was excellent but…
The service was excellent and we were very happy with that. Unfortunately the logs were really small so we had to put 4/5 on the fire each time. They were more like big kindling than logs.

Hi Clare, while it’s great to hear you were happy with our service, we’re very sorry to see your 3 star review. We aim for the best product quality and customer service at all times and I can only guess that some of your logs were cut smaller than standard. When you are ordering with us again, will you please give me a ring directly and I’ll make sure you’re looked after? Thanks very much, Luke Boyle, 0851047554, Boyle’s Solid Fuels

When ordering any fuel generally speed…
When ordering any fuel generally speed of delivery is key. The team in Boyle have three things going for them. 1)Customer comms is 100% with updates and calls from them and the courier. 2) Delivery times were met and beat. It's always great to get something faster than when you expected. 3) price and quality of the product. Competitive pricing and good quality product is the final piece of the jigsaw.
Customer for life made here.
Thanks
