Non-existent customer service, no ability to call anyone

Speeds were fine, had the service for a few months now, with a few outages, but no more than anyone else (not you VM, you were down more than you were up!), but when I did have a problem, getting it resolved over Whatsapp and email is painful, slow, and it feels like I'm just constantly having to re-say what's previously been typed, completely disconnected from a normal conversational experience, so the tl;dr is the service is good in terms of speeds, but if you ever have to contact them, be prepared to be frustrated by the run the clock down responses that take hours and hours :(

We’re glad to hear you’ve been happy with the speeds overall, though we’re sorry that getting support felt frustrating and slower than expected. That’s not the experience we aim to provide.

During this period, our team stayed in constant contact with you, sharing updates as we received them from the network provider. We understand some of these messages may have seemed repetitive, but this was because we were passing on the latest information available while the issue was being worked through. To clarify, the disruption was caused by a switch to another provider, rather than any action taken on our side, which did add some complexity to the resolution process.

That said, we completely understand your comments about the experience feeling disjointed, and your feedback is genuinely helpful as we continue improving how we communicate and support our customers.

Great tech support from Lewis. Contacted them after my internet went down, they arranged an engineer to come over and replace the hardware the next day.

Great Staff, Speeds and Hardware

Wanted to recontract for another 24 months since the service and speed has been good and there's been very little downtime.

Friendly, fast and attentive support from customer services ensured this was worked out the same day, I was sent my contract and even some additional hardware to keep my network running smoothly.

Can't recommend the service enough.
Great team.

Top-notch Broadband

I was asked for a review so here it is. In the few years I've been with Brillband, I've never had a price increase, I've never received a harassing email about an increase in the monthly price. That was the habit of my previous supplier. The promised internet speed is kept. I get what I pay for, no compromise. Brillband keeps its word. Outages are really minimal and exceptional and are resolved quickly. Always. The only thing I wish is that Brillband would return to the classic contact, that is, a phone number. Not just WhatsApp. Otherwise, I'm absolutely satisfied and I recommend them. They are excellent.

Price rise for loyalty

Although you have provided a good broadband service, you would not match an identical service on price, in fact, you wanted to reward my 2 year loyalty with a £3 monthly rise to £38…. Paul

Super fast and efficient technical support for Fiber broadband connection

The Brillband support specialst (Alisha), was extremely quick and efficient in reviewing the status of my network connectivity and identifying that my Eero box required a SW update. Her communication was excellent and very courteous, giving me a clear update as to the status of my broadband connection and what she had done.

Terrible customer service from…

Terrible customer service from Brillband. They cut off my broadband because of a payment issue caused by the direct debit not being set up properly, even though I have now paid the outstanding balance. Instead of simply restoring the service, they told me my line had been ceased and that I have to open a brand-new account.

This is completely unreasonable. I never asked for my account to be closed, and for them to leave me without broadband, especially when I need it for work, is beyond frustrating. The whole situation has been handled with no empathy, no flexibility, and no real attempt to resolve the problem. I would not recommend them.

To provide some clarity, the account had remained unpaid for over two months. During this time, we made several attempts to get in touch via email and live chat to advise that the service could be ceased if the balance wasn’t brought up to date. Ceasing a line due to non-payment is never something we take lightly, and we always aim to avoid this outcome by reaching out multiple times in advance.

We also understand there were previous issues with the direct debit setup last year. At that point, we reached out to help resolve this and made adjustments to the balance to support getting things back on track.

Once a line has been fully ceased, it unfortunately cannot be reactivated, which is why a new account is required. We appreciate this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for, and we’re sorry for the disruption this has caused.

If you’d like, our team would be more than happy to help you get set up again as quickly and smoothly as possible.
