Excellent Service at Brillen UK Purley Branch
I have made several visits to the new Purley Branch. The staff there are really helpful, informative and considerate. There is no pressure to buy. Their customer care training is evidently very good. I understand that the remote video eye-test was adopted during the pandemic in order to provide further assurance to customers.

Booked a appointment with these cowboys and the night before after arranging transport got a email saying my appointment had been cancelled because the centre was closed until 22/08/2022 funny but my wife has a appointment for 12.30 on 26/07/2022, Sent trust this company avoid at all cost they might damage your eyes if they cannot keep to their own appointments

I wasn't happy with the fact that they do your eye check 'in video call' with the optician. I don't like that as my eyes are important and I can't compromise the cost (no cost in fact!) for the quality. I left the shop in Edgware quick quick and unsatisfied. They should say that prior the appointment. I wasted my time.

This is a joke and waste of time.
Terrible experience with a Nottingham Gamston shop. Unprofessional and not trained staff . ( could not get any information about previous booked deals). The whole process based on the “call centre booth” equipped with little screen and funny toy looked testing machine . The results of the test fare different then professional test done two hours later by optician.
Very disappointed.
Please don’t waste your time and money

SAVE YOUR EYESIGHT & STAY AWAY!
The concept of remote eye testing as much as it sounds an advancement is actually wildly inaccurate. Cheap frames (substandard quality) cheap lenses which are based on an erroneous prescription.
Save your eyesight and go to a proper optician

After receiving a reply from Brillen on here suggesting that I send an email to infor requesting to take my details off their database. I did that but lo & behold received another email today about making an appointment for their crappy glasses again. Where do I go from here?
I just wish this company would leave me alone. They've had hundreds of pounds out of me which I did not pursue a refund as I became seriously ill and wasn't strong enough to fight.

I have send you a number of emails (and had waves and waves of unlawful, unwanted, declined, emails) and I have had no reply (just like the other reviewers on here). I have emailed your Data Protection Officer Mr Steinbrügger (even though by law you should have a UK contact). No response. It is very telling that you have assumed that this issue is unsolicited emails (I didn't say that in the review, but yes you're correct - indeed Brillen are always sending unlawful spam emails).
The regulator, The Information Commissioner's Office, have also sent you a number of emails about your unlawful marketing communications... and also got no response. They tell me that this is very unusual.***

Glasses are unusable and illegal marketing spam
Glasses are unusable, prescription was wrong and when I posted them back to the optician as agreed with them and at my own postage cost, I never received a refund. I never consented to marketing emails yet they bomb me daily and unsubscribe is not working despite trying for months. Never have a regretted for taking up a promotional deal this much. Avoid, avoid!

Harassing sales despite knowing you have requested they delete your email address
And another unwarranted email offering me more poor service. I unsubscribed just 6 weeks ago and am having to unsubscribe again. Why do I have to unsubscribe every 6 weeks? They obviously have no decency as a company. I have reported them now to the ombudsman, hopefully something will get done about them. I will obviously have to take things further if it doesn’t stop.

When I contacted them Rohin Manager at Watford very rude refused to deliver my glasses I have to come only on a fixed day to pick up the glasses
Says it’s a legal requirement
Whichever day I chose he kept saying we dont have an optician on that day and it can be random day in the week
They get you in by cheap prices
It’s a scam

The worst company that I was with . The manager in Watford way was too rude and after more than three months o have not got my glasses. I asked for refund but Rohin the manger was rude
The worst company with a rude manger , Rohin in Watford. I ordered my glasses on 5th April 2022 and after three months wrong order . When I complained and asked for refund the manger Rohin said don’t come to my shop anymore ! I had asked the lenses to be adjusted . Really so offensive ! I don’t recommend it to anyone else . I want my money back which is £196.50 and compensation
