1st order was great a couple of years ago when Ben was in the last unit, this time sadly our experience has been awful, no goods delivered causing issues with our refit programme & additional costs incurred to complete using another supplier, no promised refund, recourse commenced through the small claims court

Avoid! Takes order very quickly - Doesn’t deliver - can’t get hold of him easily and doesn’t refund. Total Charlatan.

I ordered a 35mm worktop and shelves from Brown Lumber LTD on 24 March for £841.77 as part of a house renovation project. Before ordering, communication with Ben was good and I was told the order would arrive within about 2 weeks

However, after 4 weeks with no delivery or update, I had to begin chasing for information. This became WEEKS of repeated calls and messages, sometimes daily, trying to find out where my order was.

Calls and messages were regularly ignored by Ben, and when I did get a response I was repeatedly told by him the order was “on the way” and that confirmation would follow - which it never did.

The order was then sent in separate parts without explanation or checking my availability for delivery. One shipment was stuck at the sorting office for over a week with no explanation. And again I had to chase to find out why and where it was.

When the shelves finally arrived, some items were missing and the shelves supplied were the wrong length. Weeks later, the worktop arrived measuring 29mm thick despite 35mm being clearly agreed in writing beforehand. The workmanship was also poor and below the standard expected for a product at this price point.

I raised these issues with Ben by phone and message and requested a resolution, but after one brief reply promising to come back to me, communication stopped entirely.

This order has caused major delays to my renovation project and has been the most frustrating experience I’ve EVER had with a supplier. I am now pursuing compensation and only wish I had read other reviews before ordering.

After receiving the 1st order from them and being happy we placed a 2nd order. This 2nd order has never arrived and we are struggling to get replies from our messages.

Brilliant customer service when making an order....then things change. Goods never arrived. Promised updates, still nothing. No refund either.

DO NOT USE!

I recently ordered 4 bowl blanks and a spindle from this Company. I paid for 1 x 12inch Cherry, 2x 12inch Oak and 1 x 14inch Oak. I received no tracking information and the seller couldn't be bothered to answering my questions. Twenty days after ordering, they turned up but they have sent 4 x 12 inch blanks and he's completely ignoring my WhatsApp Message. I won't be using them again
