I have been using the 1X bus service since it started a few months ago. Whoever came up with the idea of an express service to the Marina should be congratulated. A really excellent service.

Twice I have contacted the company about the condition of the bus on a certain bus route, on both occasions I have received a reply the next day.
This reply was very polite,and very very nice.
Thank you it made me feel that I was being listened to.

Brighton & Hove Buses offer a generally reliable service with friendly and attentive drivers, as seen on the 12A route where one driver went above and beyond in poor weather to ensure passenger safety. However, there is room for improvement, particularly with timetable accuracy and driver communication, which can cause frustration for passengers. Services to areas like Southwick also seem inconsistent, which can make it difficult for those relying on buses. Overall, it’s a good service but addressing these issues could make it even better.

Absolutely shocking waited an hour and a half for a bus I'm always having problems wih the buses being late or cancelled I've even had a bus drive straight past me and not pick me up before it's terrible and the timetables are always wrong because they don't factor in traffic and how long it's actually gonna take to get there so I've made many complaints

Failure to allow our vehicle to use the filter lane on Eastern Road, Brighton.
The driver gave obscene hand gestures.
The driver was using a phone to take photos of our vehicle while driving his bus
he calls him self DAN rounded face short ginger/brown hair with short beard
as he made a false untrue google review against our company our vehicles also have cctv front and rear with audio and we have the whole recording

I’m normally useless at anything technical I was born in the very early 60s before techno arrived properly
I find this bus app so easy to use and book tickets it’s also very handy for checking where your bus is so you can stay indoors then just pop out to the bus stop a couple of minutes before it’s due. Unlike years ago where you had to stand for ages in the rain cold and never had a clue when or where the bus was. Well done Brighton & hove buses for an app that even I can understand

New Year 2025, the site said it's Sunday services. Arrived early to wait for the 8:01 bus as Sunday schedule. Just came crom a ling hospital work, brewing a cold but still went to work. The day is horribly windy and cold, no bus arrived as schefuled. Waited 45 minutes out in the cold. What a start of the new year!!! I am going back to work tonight, my day is slready wasted. Hopefully, this horrible experience of waiting will not worsen my condition. Shame on you Brighton and hove bus admin. There are 10 hospital workers waiting here now!!!

Once again I got a super service from the people hear, They are MORE than helpful. I've contacted them a few times now,and every time I've had the best service ever
I sound as if I work for the bus company don't I? But I truly dont, I just use the buses a the time

Really really impressed, fast response to email & resolution, within a couple of hours, 6 am on christmas eve.. Ive never had customer service so good !

Complaint effectively dismissed, with a strong bias towards defending the driver, who was unquestionably in the wrong. No policy stated regarding passenger boarding away from official bus stops. Drivers have differing responses in such cases.

Not very friendly
Got the 5A from London road shops hoping I'd get a bit of rest from walking. Driver didn't even stop when I dinged the bell. Asking him politely why he didn't stop just said "stand at the back doors." No smile, no warmth, I appreciate that being a bus driver can be wearing, have a little empathy: I just want to get off the bus! Feel quite put off now and will only be getting the bus on rare occasions. Another note: please can the drivers be more clear as to what ticket to get as quite a few times I've lost a pound or two due to misunderstanding which has never been my fault and as I go on the bus fairly often, it all adds up.
Hopefully these points can be amended for the future
