Appalling
Absolutely appalled at the cheese Easter egg. Not only is it TINY, but the cheese was horrible & only 3 days life left- also turned up badly dented INSIDE the undamaged box parcel, so was obviously packed that way. I paid £12 Inc PNP, DO NOT WASTE YOUR CASH!!
What a rip off. :(

Hi Sanj Ra. We’re sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your egg and that it arrived damaged with the courier – it sounds like it had a rough journey.
We developed our eggs to bring excitement and fun at Easter, and make our online listings as clear as possible so that our customers can review fully before buying. This includes the weight of the egg (120g). We also use lifestyle photography so that the eggs can be viewed to scale/in a real-life scenario, such as on a cheeseboard, to further help manage expectations.
Our eggs are made from soft cheese and are solid rather than hollow (like a chocolate egg would be), it also has a flat bottom so that it can be sliced and handled easily.

Cheese egg arrived bashed. No note inside box. No way of contacting to get replacement as it was going to be a gift. So disappointed.

Hi Yvie. Thanks for your feedback, although I’m really sorry to hear that you’ve had a negative experience - it sounds like your egg has had a rough journey in transit. Because our eggs are made of soft cheese, if you gently squeeze around the dint, it should pop back into shape. I do hope you managed to enjoy the cheese.

Butlers should be ashamed
Butlers reply to honest reviews with some defensive hand waving…which is a bit pathetic really.
Their cheese tastes mediocre. Their ‘egg’ is a slither of their bland cheese, not “half” an egg as they claim. And you may as well be tasting some shops own brand, cheap, mild, none sense.
Please do not waste your money on any of their products. There are such good cheeses out there (try Godminister…for a start.) You complain and just get berated…rudely. You write a review and just get media friendly diatribes.
Leave this company to cripple themselves.

I have not received my order not your fault I got a message from delivery people to say it would be delivered but no parcel I have phoned your company and delivery company no answer no parcel. Not a happy lady

Easter egg with a difference!
Easter egg black sticks version was a Easter egg as a gift,and was so impressed with the idea of having a cheese version that tasted wonderful.Packaging and delivery was excellent and will definitely buy again from their range of cheese.

Expensive and short-dated
£19 (including shipping) for two of the tiniest pieces of cheese, that don't even look anything like an easter egg (more like a half egg) and have a use by date of 3 days after easter. Overly expensive for what it is.
