Me and my husband came not knowing what…

Me and my husband came not knowing what to expect the staff were very helpful showed us how to play, there was an offer on and if you had 2 goes you got food half price so we did. Enjoyed it didn’t win anything though x

Poor customer service in food area at bingo hall

I Enjoy the bingo hall and staff in bar.
The staff who serve food are awful. Clearly need customer service training. They know when the interval is due but don’t put chips on to cook until there is a massive queue of people. Choices are very limited considering how much some options cost.

Always attend the branch at the metrocentre and the staff are brilliant can’t fault anything wrong with them if there’s something wrong then they are straight on it

Fairly recent to Buzz Bingo

Fairly recent to Buzz Bingo but so far very happy with it. They have lots of offers and giveaways on a regular basis which makes it affordable for someone like me who is on a fixed income to have a night out. I'm going to my first party night with an ABBA tribute act on Friday so looking forward to that as have been told by others what a great night it will be and bingo included all for £10. I live on my own so it's nice to have a night out and a chat with other players.
Also would like to mention all the staff who are very friendly and helpful.

Staff are very professional.

Staff are pleasant, friendly and act professionally. They are very helpful especially towards older and fairly new members and nothing seems too much trouble for them. They have been patient with me when I have needed their instructions.

The person who was calling the numbers…

The person who was calling the numbers was in a rush people who was playing on paper was struggling to keep up and 1 lost a claim through it. People shouted for him to slow down which he did but then got faster again. I was glad I was on a board

Too much online

We do operate with a Random Number Generator as required to, this is to ensure the outcomes of our games are fair for all customers. With Gambling it is always nice to have a win, but unfortunately there is no guarantee that you will win the amount you have put into the site.

You should only ever deposit and play through money you are happy to potentially loose as there is no guarantee to win. Should you ever begin to feel frustrated with the amount you are winning back, we would always advise utilizing our safer gambling tools for a cool down period.

False Allegation and Poorly Managed Venue

This venue, currently operating as Buzz Bingo, has previously traded under the names Beacon Bingo and Merkur. Despite the change in branding over the years, The same management culture has remained in place. My experience at this club raises serious concerns regarding the conduct, professionalism, and decision making practices of the management team.

I was accused by the general manager of engaging in racist behaviour and was subsequently banned from the premises. This is an extremely serious allegation. However, at no point was I provided with any evidence to support this claim, nor was I informed of any formal investigation being undertaken prior to the decision to exclude me from the club. The accusation appears to have been based solely on hearsay or unverified reports rather than any substantiated facts.

Given the seriousness of such an allegation, it would be reasonable to expect that any responsible management would conduct a proper and impartial investigation before taking such drastic action. No such process was communicated to me, and I was not given a fair or reasonable opportunity to respond to the allegation before the ban was imposed. In my view, this raises significant questions about the fairness, transparency, and professionalism of the management practices at this venue.

False or unsubstantiated accusations of racism are not trivial matters. They have the potential to cause reputational damage and significant personal distress. For such allegations to be made and acted upon without clear evidence or due process demonstrates, at best, a lack of appropriate managerial judgement and, at worst, a disregard for basic standards of fairness.

Separate from this issue, the overall condition and operation of the venue itself appears to have deteriorated considerably. The premises present as tired, poorly maintained, and generally run down. It gives the clear impression of a business that has not invested adequately in its upkeep or customer environment for some time.

The standard of food offered at the venue was also noticeably below what most patrons would reasonably expect from a leisure establishment of this nature. In addition, several members of staff appeared disengaged, unhelpful, and at times discourteous in their interactions with customers. Customer service standards overall seemed low, with little evidence of proactive or professional management oversight.

Taken together, these issues suggest a venue that is poorly managed and struggling to maintain even basic service and hospitality standards. My experience with the management, particularly in relation to the extremely serious allegation made against me without supporting evidence or a transparent process, was deeply concerning and highly disappointing.

Until such time as management practices, staff conduct, and general operational standards improve significantly, I would caution prospective visitors to consider carefully whether this is an establishment they wish to patronise. Based on my experience, the conduct of management and the overall environment of the club fell well below what any customer should reasonably expect.
