HI Nancy. In looking at your account your IDR application was just submitted on 8/20/25 Servicers are in a backlog at the moment in processing applications, so you will likely see your application progress in the coming weeks.

I don't even know what my membership paid for. Nothing was different from the free version.

Hi Haley. Because you enrolled in our Essential plan you were able to submit all of your forms electronically without the need to print anything out. You also have access to our Customer Support team which is not available on the DIY plan. If you ever have any questions please reach out to our CS team on the contact support section of your Savi dashboard!

Super confusing

I have been working with Savi since early May and I am still confused as to where things are and what to expect. It seems that people are not informed and I have made some questionable choices based on the advice (i consolidated loans as I was told this is a requirement and in the last meeting I attended they said it was not.) I am still sorting things out as my current status in savi says that my application has been submitted, however, on the student loan site, it shows how many payments have been forgiven (for over a month) and I have been making payments to my processor on the consolidated loan. I hope this recent activity does not impact my current progress.

The process can be confusing

I'm unable to talk with anyone live. The chat online is OK sometimes, but I would rather talk with a person over the phone to get absolute clarity about what is going on and/or what needs to be done.

lack of clarity

I find that there is lack of clarity in what needs to be done next. I will think that I am caught up on what I need to do on my end, then log in and find that there is unfinished paperwork. It is confusing because sometimes it feels like I am doing the same thing more than once, but I am trusting that savi is taking care of things.

Clear, Helpful

Savi is very easy to use, and with the Essential plan I bought I'm confident that they are available to answer my questions whenever I have them. I have attended a few Zoom webinars to learn more about my student loans and the paths I can take towards repayment, and I'm optimistic about receiving loan forgiveness with the help of Savi (I am eligible due to my work in public service.)

No follow up/No follow through

Savvy does not follow up on the forms/applications. Every applications has to be filled in again if previous employers don't sign. If it's not bee over a year it should be resent until it is signed. I shouldn't have to keep filling in the same form. Savay should have some sort of updated registry of company HR reps and contacts. I have had to do a lot of leg work to keep finding HR reps and emails and Savvy still does not follow up for signatures.

Hi Lesley. We apologize for any trouble. Forms can not be resent after 3 months as The Department Of Education requires the signatures be less than 3 months old. If you have specific HR contacts you are having trouble getting in touch with please log into your Savi account and utilize the contact support button and a member of our team will respond right away and help however they can!

I think that the services provided have…

I think that the services provided have been very helpful. I would not be able to manage my loan without the support from Savi.
I continue to need the support to get my loan forgiveness completed and Savi is helping me get signatures needed from my employers. This has been a long process and the team have been working on this.

Every time I have tried to sign up for…

Every time I have tried to sign up for any classes or meetings, the site crashes or is no longer accessible. I have tried 4-5 times trying to stay up to speed with all the changes, and I'm very disappointed.

I still need someone to contact me back…

I still need someone to contact me back about getting my TLF form corrected and turned in to my loan servicer. I have gone back and forth with 'Tier 2' people for over a month and my poor HR lady has had to deal with signing documents that aren't even correct in the first place.
