C1 driver training north west Avis 

I had seen an advert for C1 Driver Training on a local Facebook page and decided to "support local" to help me drive my campervan. From the first time of meeting Neil, he could not do enough to help.

From very outset, the plan was clear around the medical, theory and off-road and on-road testing requirements.

Made to feel at ease throughout the whole process and best of all, had a laugh whilst doing it. Would highly recommend these guys

Learning with Jayne from C1 was a fantastic experience! They don’t just teach you how to pass the test, they teach you how to be a safe driver for life. I felt completely prepared on the day of my test and with only 2 minors it shows how good they are! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is wanting to learn in Bolton/Atherton or surrounding areas.

I honestly can’t recommend C1 Driving enough, especially my instructor Neil. He is incredibly qualified—there’s genuinely not much he can’t teach. From learners to C1 licences and his background in advanced driving, his depth of knowledge is outstanding and it really shows in the way he teaches.

From the very first lesson, Neil put me completely at ease. I’ve driven on and off for almost 10 years, but Neil made the biggest difference to my confidence, especially when dealing with other road users. He is incredibly understanding, empathetic, patient, and calm, with a great sense of humour that makes lessons enjoyable and relaxed. What really sets him apart is how well he understands the psychology of driving, alongside the theoretical and practical sides. This made the learning process far more effective and helped everything finally click for me.

Thanks to Neil, I was finally in the right place—both mentally and practically—to take my test, and I passed first time with no faults and no minors, which I genuinely don’t believe would have been possible without him. His teaching style, encouragement, and belief in me made all the difference.

If you’re looking for an instructor who is knowledgeable, supportive, funny, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed, Neil is exceptional. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor and I’m so grateful for the experience.

Really good experience with C1 Driver Training. Everything was explained clearly and it helped build my confidence a lot. After a couple of lessons I didn’t feel nervous at all and the whole thing felt relaxed and easy. Would definitely recommend.

0Wow just wow. I already had my license but was out of practice and confidence . I wanted to get back towing again but felt nervous about hitching up and towing again. With a few tips tricks and lessons with C1 I was back towing up and down the country with no anxiety. Would I use again ? Of course , my Daughter will be told to book her lessons with C1 when the time comes. Oh and the instructors are really down to earth and super friendly.

I looked forward to each week having a lesson as the staff made me feel very comfortable and made the driving tutorial a breeze. Exceptional

C1 driver training turned out to be the best decision I ever made. Their skill, guidance, professionalism and industry knowledge gave out me on the path to a whole new career. I honestly can’t recommend them enough.
