The Littlest Learners Avis 

My little one has been going to the play sessions with Sharon for a few months now, he always adores the opportunity to explore and practice the skills he’s most interested in. He’s completely captivated the whole time and I can see his focus developing. Highly recommend these play sessions for a calm and beautiful play experience.

We couldn’t recommend The Littlest Learners more highly. Our two-year-old has been attending weekly sessions for the past four months and has absolutely loved them – she is excited to go each week.

The play-based activities are thoughtfully designed and engaging. Everything feels fun and hands-on, yet you can clearly see the foundational skills being built in language and early numeracy that will support her as we move towards 4+. We’ve noticed a real shift in her focus and independence – she’s more confident attempting new tasks and enjoys problem-solving in a way that feels natural and age-appropriate.

What really stands out is the individual attention and genuine care Sharon shows. The sessions are small and nurturing, and we feel included in the journey as parents too. It’s wonderful to see her curiosity being encouraged so intentionally at such a young age.

We’re very much looking forward to continuing into the next stage (2–2.5 years). It’s a real delight to watch her grow in confidence each week.

Sharon has created a beautiful, safe, intimate and encouraging environment to foster creativity, learning and development for young children, starting from as young as 1 years old. She offers fun, varied and innovative activities for the children to practice their age appropriate skills in a relaxed setting. This is the epitome of “play based learning” which I wouldn’t have been able to fully conceptualise until I saw it in person. She has such a vast array of activities and she is so kind and encouraging and knowledgeable on the specifics of each age group she teaches. This is what development for babies and children should look like.

We saw a huge improvement in my son’s focus and fine motor skills within just a few weeks of attending these sessions. He was so excited to be there and Sharon adapts the session for what the individual child needs and takes note of how to make small advancements for the upcoming sessions so that they always have the opportunity to progress onto new skills while practicing ones they have already mastered. Nothing is forced or set in stone, it really flows naturally and beautifully.
I’ve attended almost every local baby class, and this is not a baby class. This is a completely different experience; teaching babies and children often the skills that we as busy parents sometimes need a little guidance on. It is a session to slow down and focus in a calm and gentle manner. It fosters connection between parent and baby and I highly recommend her sessions to all!

Our daughter has been having regular learning sessions with Sharon over the past few months. We were struggling to find ways to practice phonics, drawing and numeracy at home in a way that was fun and engaging - the sessions with Sharon have been transformative! Not only have we seen her learning come on leaps and bounds, but most importantly, her joy for learning! Sharon builds rapport and uses activities that children really enjoy.

Initially, we weren't sure whether we would do any 4+ assessments and didn’t start the sessions with the assessments in mind. We felt Sharon’s approach would be a wonderful way to give her a solid start before starting reception. I am so glad we did as we can already see a positive impact in particular how her learning at nursery has been accelerated, she is grasping new nursery topics, such as blending, quickly and confidently.

Now that we have decided to do 4+, we feel confident our daughter has been prepared in a way that gives her confidence and a joy for learning.

I only wish that Sharon had been running her sessions for younger children when my daughter was a toddler as we would have loved to join! We will be signing up for any future siblings :)

Sharon is the kindest and most nurturing individual. My daughter connected with her instantly and thoroughly enjoys her weekly play based session. Along with learning a great deal of new skills it’s done wonders for her confidence. She no longer has separation anxiety and is keen to explore new environments, an added bonus with 4+ in mind. Littlest Learners will no doubt set your child in good stead.

We are beyond grateful for the incredible support and guidance our daughter has received from Sharon. At just 2 years old, she has blossomed under Sharon’s nurturing and engaging approach, and the progress she’s made in preparation for her 4+ assessments has been remarkable.

Sharon combines deep expertise with a genuine love for teaching, making each session not only educational but also joyful. Our daughter looks forward to every lesson, and it’s been amazing to see her confidence, focus, and foundational skills grow in such a short time.

Thanks to Sharon, we feel so much more prepared and optimistic about the upcoming assessments. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our daughter’s learning journey!
