I am going back probably 18 months, trying to remember I paid for i think it was a package of 6 phone searches. Never thought anymore about it until I was checking my bank account and found these guys had been taking £48.90 each month from my account. This had been going on for over a year, I called my bank and they said they would put a stop on it, however today my account went into overdraft when I checked to find out why, I was horried to see these guys were still taking £48.90 each month. As I initially paid by card, my bank should have cancelled the card when I called previously, today when I called they have now cancelled my card, I will be making a complaint to my bank needless to say. These guys at Call Hunt as they call themselves have taken over £1000 from my account and being an OAP could not afford to lose this sort of money so I hope this cheating company are proud of themselves cheating an OAP out of hard earnt cash. I would add in all this time I have never recieved and paper work from them or receipts, these cheats were quite happy to take my money.

Overall, a great product. The people data is up-to-date and the platform is secure. We did have a small issue with the initial configuration of the daily updates, but their support team was responsive and helped us fix it. A solid 4-star service that we're happy with.

Paid 50p just to see if it worked ok, it did, I thought that was it,,, then with no warning that I had seen £49 was removed from my account, be very wary of this company and don’t fall for this trick, be sure to unsubscribe as soon as you have paid the 50p.

Avoid paying 50p for the same information i already knew then trying to set up in a contract avoid

Spent 50pence to get a number from these guys, it worked fine but 24 hours later they tried to take £49 from me account twice but my bank blocked it due to funds thankfully. Logged into my callhunt account no mention of these charges or any subscription, same in my emails from them. Nonetheless clicked unsubscribe and then got an email to say you've unsubscribed front the subscription. TOTAL SCAM sadly as the tool to find numbers works well but seems to be actually about signing you up for a £600 / year subscription fraudulently

On the web they inform that they will charge 0,5€ for searching one person. Two days later they charge 39,9€ aditional euros without previous notice or warning, I consider that a scam.

Paid 50p to see if my old phone number was still attached to me (kept getting odd calls)... double and triple checked no other charges would be made.
24 hours later they tried to take £49 from my bank (with no permission).
Luckily I'm with Monzo who immediately blocked the payment as they are known for scams.

YOU PAY 0.50 TO FIND A PHONE NUMBER BUT IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL IN 24 HOURS THEY CHARGE A FURTHER £49.00. THERE CUSTOMER SERVICES ARE A JOKE HUNG UP REPEATEDLY. ENDED UP CALLING MY BANK WHO HAVE BLOCKED THEM FOR FURTHER PAYMWNTS BUT CANT GET THE £49.00 RETURNED.

Paid £0.50 for a search on my own number just for fun. I find out a week later they charged me £49 for a subscription i had no aware of at all. What a scam. Stay away

Be careful paid for a 50p call find only to find out a month later they charging £48 per month which I didn't request..

Disappointing customer service.. They didn’t care the least to help me with a refund under negotiable circumstances. All the other companies, cooperates under extenuating causes..Call hunt didn’t bat an eyelid.. Disappointed..thoroughly..

While I have seen other companies help me out in case of a refund, in exceptional cases - despite stated rules, Call Hunt denied upfront. Shows at some level - lack of customer empathy. I am disappointed by their service. I'm afraid I won't take your service again.

Sly £48 a month charge after using once for 50p. They know what they’re doing and it’s immoral.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE, IT IS A SCAM.
I used their services in Aug-24 for a one-off mobile phone number search. After paying 50p on the day, they charged me 2 months worth of subscription fees (£48.90 x2) 2 months later in Oct 24 although I didn't subscribe. After multiple attempts to understand why they charged me, they explained that it was in the small prints of the search form although they never sent me a confirmation of my subscription. If I had been charged the next month, I could have unsubscribed straight away but they did wait for 2 months on purpose and charged me for both months in the space of 2 days in Oct 24. Real crooks

This company runs a"subscription trap" or "negative option billing" scam. I have fallen victim to its tactics of offering a 50p call lookup through a sister/microsite that uses their API, then, 24 hours later, enrolling you in a £50pm subscription.

The only way to cancel is to contact them directly - no option to do so through the account they setup in your name. They have no intent of refunding or supporting customers who have fallen victim to this scam.

The companies' house filings for this company also raise significant questions over legitimacy.

Avoid at all costs.

Used this company, on the pretext that o would be charge 50p a search , next day the took £48-90 , from my account and unknown to myself I had subscribed to a 12 month subscription, cancelled immediately, but lost my money, don’t use

I have been charged 48.90 pounds every month for one time use. I never agreed to any kind of subscription. I've tried calling them but they never answer!
