It started with my wife, Svetlana, a kitchen table, a love for family, and a passion for Korean skincare. ❤️ As the mother of our autistic son, working full-time wasn’t possible for her. Between therapy visits, school plans, and all the care he needed, she had to be home. But Svetlana’s never been one to sit still. She turned her hobby into something more. ❤️ What began as late-night scrolling through Korean skincare groups turned into real learning. Like many people new to K-beauty, she made mistakes too many acids, too many products, and a few painful skin flare-ups along the way. But every reaction taught her something new. Each mistake made her stronger and wiser about what sensitive skin really needs. ❤️ When Svetlana realized that fragrances and essential oils were making her skin worse, she started to wonder "if I’m struggling to find gentle but effective skincare, how many others are too?" ❤️ So, right from our kitchen table, she began choosing products with care, ones she’d trust for our own family. For more than six months, she built everything herself: learning, testing, packing, and finding the best brands one by one. That’s when I joined her. I have received one of the items in the…
I have received one of the items in the order badly tempered with, used almost 25%. I emailed them with picture evidence and they offered me a refund as good will, clearly denying the tempering with the product. They requested a video of opening the parcel/ product to sustain the allegation. The product did not have a seal on and I emailed them the same day when I received the items.How was the item going to be used so much in a few hours? And who takes videos of opening the parcels? Their trail of thought does not make sense.
I wanted to return the whole order as I am very disappointed and they asked for the items not to be sent opened/used. Double standard?
Would not purchase from them again and would not recommend them. Stay well clear.
There are superior retailers to buy from in the UK. Shameful for a family business to operate on these principles.
REPLY: Your reply is untrue and it is NOT backed up by my emails. I never declined to send the items back and I sent the pictures as soon as I picked up the parcel later in the day. The two items were the Mary and May products I bought from your website. One of them clearly shows in the pictures as not having been used and the other one is 75% full. Please do not insult the customers’ intelligence as retailers fill up the bottles at the same level. They have a conveyor belt and the bottles are filled up with the same amount of product in the production line. The pictures are very conclusive and honest hence why my complaint. This is all about the principle and not the amount I paid for although I regret having bought from your website. You are disingenuous as people and as a company and clearly only care about money.

Thank you for your review.
We are sorry you were unhappy with your order. Once we located your email, we replied and issued a refund for the Mary & May Tea Tree Serum as a goodwill gesture. This was done to resolve your concern, not as confirmation that the item was dispatched used or tampered with.
As the claim involved prior use and tampering, we asked for supporting evidence showing the condition of the item when it was first opened. The photos provided showed two different products side by side and did not allow us to verify that the item was missing almost 25% or had been used before dispatch.
You then requested to return the remaining products in the order. We confirmed that the remaining items could be returned in line with our standard returns policy, provided they were unopened, unused, in their original packaging, and suitable for resale.
You later did not agree to proceed under that return process and requested a refund without the remaining products first being returned and inspected. That is not in line with our returns process or how our business operates.
There is no double standard. We treat every customer with respect, and we must also follow our returns policy consistently. Our policy is in line with applicable UK consumer rules and hygiene requirements for skincare products.
All products we supply are sourced through authorised channels, dispatched as new, and handled with hygiene controls appropriate for skincare products.
In your email, you have indicated that you may escalate the matter to Trading Standards. We respect your right to seek advice from any relevant consumer body. However, this does not change the facts of the order, the evidence available, or our obligation to apply our returns policy consistently.
We are sorry this could not be resolved to your satisfaction, and we wish you all the best in your skincare journey.
