The staff member who looked after me…
The staff member who looked after me was so helpful and knowledgeable on what would work for me. Done online and phone and was sorted with 3 days of 1st application.. delighted with rate and speed of application.
Highly recommend going back to Credit union for loans.

I was recently in the Sandymount…
I was recently in the Sandymount branch. The behaviour from the staff member was appalling. I got his name was Mark. My experience turned me off returning to this branch again.

Easy and fast!
I applied online, then received a call from Jordan. So professional and extremely easy to converse with. Following a couple of tech errors trying to upload docs, Jordan was very helpful and patient, I eventually mastered it! Got approval within 24 hours as promised. Excellent service.

Very long process to eventually apply.. waste of time
Spent ages trying to prove my identity, to finally get an account to be able to apply for a loan. Got quoted 22% APR only to get rejected for it!!! Not happy, what an entire waste of time. You should really let people apply for a loan before creating a whole account for them, just to reject them after. Complete waste of your resources, your staffs time and your customers time...

Our account setup and identification procedures are in place to meet regulatory requirements and help protect both you and our members from fraud. However, we appreciate that this approach may not feel efficient when the loan is ultimately declined.

The people were friendly and efficient. Good service. The APR of 10% is very high though, especially for a second loan of a 'valued' member.

I have been with Capital credit union since I was nineteen have always depended on them and I've never been let down from needing a washing machine,new boiler to a car whatever I've needed over the years I'm very thankful especially to the staff who've been fantastic to me over the last 30 plus years thank you 😊

Excellent Service
Jackie is a wonderful loan officer who made the application process so easy and pleasant. The drawdown was seamless and we had our money within 24 hours. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. I felt like a person not a number.
