Care Move removals and storage Avis 

Care Move were fantastic! We moved last august and it was the first time we have ever used a removals company - and we made the right choice!

Bernadette and Lorraine were both really helpful and informative. The quote given was really reasonable and they actually came to the property to do a thorough quote (which many other companies we contacted didn't bother to do!).

Boxes and packing paper were delivered a month before our move, which gave us plenty of time to get everything packed.

On the moving day, Tom and Isaac arrived 15 minutes early and were really friendly. They were so quick with loading and unloading the van. Both guys were keen to do a professional job. We were really impressed with how they worked.

Would definitely recommend Care Move - a professional company who knows their stuff!

Awful awful awful. Bernadette is an awful person to deal with, assuming no responsibility for anything that went wrong, which was basically everything. They were late, a man short, had the wrong vehicle, broke stuff, lost stuff, were abusive in the street to each other and drive off before we could inspect the vehicle. Provided no boxes. Avoid at all costs, and don’t believe a word she says.
Edit: You’re welcome, but it’s not a nasty review. It’s a fair and honest appraisal of you and your service. You don’t (can’t!) deny any of my complaints, yet you refuse to acknowledge any responsibility. That was the choice you made. So don’t complain about your review.

We used Care Move on March 1st and it was such a great service. Phil and Ryan were really professional and friendly- took all the stress out of the whole move.

Caremove helped us move house last week and we were very happy with their service overall.
Bernadette came to quote us and she was very knowledgeable about how things would work and what was needed in respect of our belongings. The guys that came were helpful, polite, careful and moved fast, making sure our move was done and dusted quickly, nothing was damaged in the process even though it was done fast. They worked very hard!
The only reason I haven't given 5* is because we had to dismantle the wardrobes ourselves when we were told they could be lifted down. No big deal really! We will definitely use Caremove should we move again, bearing in mind we have used them twice already.

I used Caremove last Thursday 25th Feb, to help elderly friends downsize into a retirement property. Phil & his team turned up promptly at 8.15 , introduced themselves very courteous and extremely helpful went very smoothly and fully loaded by 10.15 and all unloaded by 14.15. Best Service very impressed and genuinely nice guys and great job. Thank you for making the transition easy for older people.

Good admin staff (Lorraine). Bernadette was efficient. Unfortunately the team sent to move us let this company down. Extremely rude, with Shandor telling us we had a load of " $#** " and, yes, this is a quote, and Jay and Shandor constantly, rudely, complaining about how much there was to move. We pointed out that everything to be moved had been made clear when the quote was given. The team were critical of admin/management (in our earshot). Quite frankly, if the team have issues with management I don’t need to know – save it for when you are in the van! We paid for a team to get on with the job and move our belongings. We did NOT pay for a team to pass an opinion on the quality or quantity of our possessions. Our move involved a long wait for keys. An extremely stressful day, made worse by Jay telling us the removal team are only paid until 5.30, and that if things 'didn't happen soon' we would "have to have a chat", or they would need to take our possessions and put them in storage. This was later discussed with Bernadette, who said she had "never" taken things away and put them in storage. Was this a tactic used by the team, to 'encourage' customers to pay more money? At the time of booking, we were not made aware that the removal team would finish at 5.30. We were told that there was no 'wait fee' for keys at the other end. We found out that "the chat" was for us to pay the removal team of four an extra £25.00 EACH to stay and offload our possessions. Unfortunately, due to our dreadful experience with this team I could not recommend this company and would never use them again. Lorraine and Bernadette were efficient and helpful - but it wasn't them who moved us. Absolutely AWFUL team who added to our stress and made us feel uncomfortable all day from start to finish.

Wonderful company run by Bernadette who is highly professional and efficient. She has a wonderful group of hard working, down to earth, polite and cheerful staff who are incredible at what they do. They transported myself, husband and large amount of home contents within the West Midlands conurbation just over a week ago-they were wonderful and I don’t know how we would have done it without them. Highly recommend this company for all your removal needs.

A great company! We had Jay and the boys on the day of our move. They were very friendly and very efficient, nothing was too much trouble. We had a long wait for our keys unfortunately but they waited patiently and professionally and helped us the other end. Everything was put in the right place and we felt they went above and beyond. What an absolutely excellent service from start to finish. Everything was completed professionally and with good humour, on (as usual) a very stressful day. I employed CARE MOVE LTD.(Dale and Daughters) to move my possessions. I met Bernadette Dale, Proprietor, to negotiate a contract. I was impressed by her professional, efficient and considerate attitude. She was able to give me confidence in the service that they offer. On the day of the move the team arrived on time. We were so glad that we chose caremove as everything ran so smoothly on the day. The owner is lovely and extremely well organised. The men we had on the day were amazing they carefully moved our furniture and moved us into our new home and nothing was too much trouble.
