Paul is an astonishingly good coach. I wanted to build confidence in driving my GT3. Having been a passenger in cars driven by great drivers, I never thought I’d be able to do what they do. After a day with Paul, I’m confident that one day (with more training and practice) I will. Thank you Paul!

A brilliant day with CAT at Millbrook. A mixture of classroom theory to explain the physics, then putting it all into practice in the car with an instructor alongside. Great to put the newly learned skills to the test in the 3 lap consistency trial at the end of the day, with all 6 of us being remarkably closely matched, which can only be down to the quality of the instruction, giving us all confidence in our car's capabilities to get the desired results. Thanks to Paul, Steve and Lynne for making it a fantastic experience.

First class experience, learnt so much about how to get the most out of my car and some new skills to work on. All the staff were super friendly and made you feel very safe so you could get the most out of the day. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to extract a bit more out of their driving experience. Definitely money better spent on this than on performance modifications to make your car quicker.

Fantastic day with Paul building on both practical experience (track and skidpan) plus classroom theory - I like to know why the car behaves as it does. Can’t wait to put it all to practice at upcoming track days this summer.

It was like taking the red pill in the matrix movie. The course enabled me to understand what was actually occurring outside the illusion created by the Matrix. I recommend this course to everyone.

A great day and lots learnt, its always hard to teach people something they think they may already know but this was done in a professional way in a great location.

The CAT team were incredibly welcoming, helping to put me at ease immediately. They exude a friendly/approachable professionalism which inspires confidence from the start. The driver briefings were detailed and clear in explaining how different types of car behave and why in different driving situations. All very helpful theory that started to make even more sense each time the driving began. In-car driving instruction was always impeccable, helping to extend my understanding of the dynamics of the car and my abilities, whilst always feeling safe and in control.
It’s incredibly satisfying to have a professional driver trainer provide immediate feedback, allowing you to make the corrections suggested and to then get things right. I now feel far more at one with my car which serves to improve driving pleasure and safety.

Yesterday was the fifth training session I've attended. As with each previous session, the day was well structured, seamlessly organised and with first class tuition from Colin Hoad. The syllabus is designed to link back to skills learnt on previous sessions, enabling smooth progression - and it works very effectively. We were very well looked after by the catering department too.

What an amazing facility with an outstanding team to learn from. I had a superb day learning the limits of my car with an exceptionally great bunch of people. Highly recommended and will definitely being going back for more! Thank you to all at CAT Driver Training.

Having done other track based event I wanted something that would provide some actual performance driving tuition beyond learning a given circuit. Found CAT on the web and decided to give their L3 Advanced Performance Course a go in my own car and am so pleased I did. The day is full on one to one tuition with the same instructor 95% of which is done in the car and on the move. Lots of time to practice what you taught and lots of feedback and questions to make sure you are actually understanding what you are doing and why the car responds the way it does. Whilst there is an outline to the course the actual content on the day is based on your objectives which are discussed first thing. If you want more or less time on particular section then you decide. I'd highly recommend making the investment if you want to learn how to improve your driving and how and why your car behaves the way it does. Steve and Colin are both excellent highly knowledgeable instructors and the venue is superb.

I’ve had other driver training other facilities which was pretty good, however, nothing I’ve done previously can compare to the time I’ve spent at CAT Driver Training. I can’t praise Colin and the team highly enough. The service is friendly and professional, and the training and facility is truly world class.
I can’t imagine there’s another coach out there that can match Colin’s experience, especially one who’s invested so much not only in driving and engineering but also in teaching. In addition, the facility itself is a great place to learn allowing you to practice technique in a way that simply wouldn’t be possible at a regular track or on the public road.

This was my third development training with Colin and team at CAT. I started 3 years ago, and it's become my default annual driver development training. I've tried other driver development, but nothing matches the approach, expertise & facilities on offer at CAT. I'm already planning next year!

Great tuition (I got as much from the day as when I did a similar day a number of years ago with a different car). Brilliant facilities, as always. Super friendly support staff and lovely lunch!
