CCRM Fertility Avis 3

Not recomemnded at all. Very unprofessional. when I needed an appointment they never picekd up teh phoen and I had to wait 2 months. After teh test, I called several time and they refused to give me my Medical results, this is a violation to HIPAA. I should check the online reviews before I went there.

Choosing to go to CCRM (Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine) is the single biggest mistake of my life.

Dr. Gustofson did not have the knowledge or experience to accurately assess my cause of infertility or the proper treatment for it. Because he had not had experience with cases like mine, he just threw at me their standard protocol - that my case would require 3 cycles of IVF, and even then, he wasn't sure I'd walk away with a baby in the end. Being told I would need to pay $60k and fly to Colorado 3 times, be on medications for basically an entire year, I said no thank you, and went straight to donor eggs at age 36.

Years later, I consulted with a really great doctor, Dr. Bankowski at ORM Fertility in Oregon, who was astonished at the outcome of my treatment at CCRM. He said that at the age of 36, with an AMH of 1.0 and an FSH of 8.7, there was absolutely no reason to require 3 cycles without even seeing how I did with one, and definitely no reason to go straight to donor eggs, since I definitely still had eggs of my own. He could not understand the aggressiveness of Dr. Gustofson's treatment. Dr. Bankowski also told me that in cases like mine, where I can't get pregnant naturally (due to a diagnosis of endometriosis, which Dr. Gustofson was also aware of), IVF is generally very successful. And it turns out Dr. Bankowski was right! I have done IVF 3 times, and I have gotten pregnant all 3 times. Had Dr. Gustofson had the knowledge and experience to tell me this, I would definitely have felt it worth trying with my own eggs.

Due to Dr. Gustofson's ineptitude, I ended up making a life altering decision that was really not in my best interest. I will always wish I had gone to ORM first. If you are looking for a doctor who will have your best interests in mind, rather than his own, stay away from CCRM.

I LOVED this clinic! After a terrible experience with another infertility clinic. I decided to try CCRM. I will NEVER go back! I am just beginning my treatment but I really loved the staff at the Louisville, CO office and Dr. Gustofson. He answered all of my questions and seemed genuinely interested in my concerns and how to address them. Everything was explained very thoroughly and he even made notes as we spoke for me to take home and review. I appreciated the time and complete honesty provided during my appointment. This office truly makes you feel welcome and understood. If you are concerned about infertility, this is the office to visit. I cannot express enough how amazing they are!
