Great buying experience
Just had an amazing experience buying a new set of cameras! The staff were super knowledgeable and patiently answered all my questions. They didn't push me towards the most expensive option, which was a relief. When I had a quick follow-up question later, their online support was incredibly helpful. Seriously impressed with their commitment to customer service!

Misled on stock
I contacted them via WhatsApp as no one was picking the phone up, asked a about a specific camera and confirmed with them a number of times, the type of camera and stock holding. I was informed that they had stock so I ordered, heard nothing after chasing numerous time on calls and WhatsApp until Friday when someone picked up and subsequently informed me that they were waiting for stock to come in!!
I only went with this company as they assured me that stock was available.
Really poor service and lack of communication, be straight with customers as this, even if the not the response they want will at least give you credit.

Extremely disappointing experience
Extremely disappointing experience with CCTV Direct UK Ltd. I purchased an outdoor junction box costing only £5, yet I was charged an excessive £7 delivery fee within the UK, which already felt unreasonable. To make matters worse, the item itself was completely not fit for purpose and failed to meet expectations.
The return process was unnecessarily complicated and outdated. Customers are expected to download, fill out, and print a return form to include with the item, turning what should be a simple return into a frustrating and time-consuming exercise.
The worst part was the customer service. The returned item was received by them within just two days, yet they still delayed processing the refund for another four days. I had to make multiple calls and repeatedly chase them before the refund was finally issued. Customers should not have to fight for money that is rightfully theirs.
The staff I dealt with were unprofessional, dismissive, and seemed completely uninterested in dealing with customers properly. There was little concern shown for resolving the issue, and politeness appeared to be an afterthought.
Overall, this was a poor experience from start to finish — overpriced delivery charges, a product that failed to do its job, an unnecessarily painful returns process, delayed refunds, and disappointing customer service. I would think very carefully before purchasing from this company again. Please avoid them at any cost and do not buy from them!

We are sorry you were unhappy with your experience. The bracket supplied was exactly the item ordered, and the dimensions were clearly shown on the product listing prior to purchase. Unfortunately, it appears the product selected was not the size required for what you intended to use it for.
We accepted the return and issued a refund once the item had been received back and checked. While we understand that this was not the outcome you had hoped for, the item supplied matched the description provided at the time of purchase.
Been using them for a good few years…
Been using them for a good few years now still come through on price and service and have had little issues where I've needed to contact them - everytime I have they've resolved it promptly.

Slow dispatch and then slow DHL delivery still not arrived

G2H rather than G2-L ...good idea
The second part of my overall purchase meant that CCTVDirect substituted two cameras - upgrades to the ones I actually thought I wanted - which caused me quite some concern.
However, having researched the matter over the last few days and also having spoken to them (via WhatsApp, and they also telephoned me), I now see that CCTVDirect's replacements (recommended to them by Hikvision) are going to serve me better than my original plan.
There would have been no problem had I rejected the substitution for a refund, but I decided to stick with the cameras sent because I think they'll serve their purpose more effectively.
I'll be happy to buy from them again and to use their experience. Next time I will telephone beforehand if there's a risk of the camera being an older model (G2-L) and perhaps their website being a bit behind.
