Challenge Central Avis 

A lovely walk and a lovely group of people. There were lots of snack and water breaks and even a toilet stop as well as a pub stop. The bacon roll at the start was lovely and it was nice to be able to have lunch at the pub when finished.

2nd cycle trip with Challenge Central after doing the Scottish 500 with them a few years ago. This trip to Slovenia and down the Croatian coast was as exceptional as the last. Steve King is a legend of an organiser and a great bloke (even though his choice of football team is suspect). We had the best lead cyclist that CC have in David, he knocks the spots off of Mark 😆 Food, accommodation and cycle route were all great. 3rd day on Pag was stunning… None of the climbs were too mad and the final decent into Trogir is worth the wait! Will use CC tor my next trip… book up now!!!

Exceptional trip from Slovenia to Croatia. David is an exceptional cyclist and brilliant guide and Steve was always on hand for cheers of encouragement and a truck load of Twix bars, Haribo, sandwiches and crisps. I had a phenomenal time cycling some challenging routes with breath taking scenery. Looking forward to the next trip already!

Just finished the group cycle from Slovenia to Croatia. Had a magical time with some great people. Steve and David who led the trip were magnificent! Looking forwards to booking my next adventure already.

3 sailors marooned in Vodice Croatia due to storm! Virtually nothing open and severely short on supplies.
Met David and a team cycling from Slovenia to Trogir in a cafe! These amazingly friendly Life savers had a full bottle of Schweppes tonic in his support vehicle to go with our Gin on the boat! Donated and received with great thanks! Good luck on your cycle route, hopefully we will get out of port tomorrow !

Just completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge with this amazing team, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptionally well-organised, safe, and incredibly motivating.
A special shoutout to Vicky, who was an absolute superstar throughout the whole journey. Her energy, encouragement, and positive attitude kept us all going—especially when the legs were tired and spirits were low.

Just finished the London to Amsterdam ride with Steve, David and Mark all ensuring the ride was great fun whilst also being a challenge. They supported the whole group from start to finish. Found CC with a Google search but pleased I did and would 100% recommend them and use them again.

Very enjoyable London to Paris cycle with Steve, Alan and Dave! Lots of fun and support all the way around to help make the distance enjoyable. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking to book a cycling trip!

Came across CC randomly after my chain snapped only 1.5 miles into a 33 mile ride. They were en route to Paris with a group of client. CC said they had a support van a few hundred yards away and kindly fixed the chain for me without question and would not take any payment. Bowled over with their enthusiasm and kindness. Many thanks indeed!!

Cycled London to Paris, enjoyed every minute. Alan, Steve and Dave were great guides, there was nothing they didn't think of and are absolute aces at fixing punctures. Plenty of food, laughs and memories made along the way.

Kingy, Alan & Lloydy were awesome, providing support at every point along the way. They looked out for everyone, always made sure we were happy, well fed and watered and repaired bikes super quickly.

There was never a dull moment and I would highly recommend using Challenge Central for any exciting challenges or trips moving forward !

From start to finish, Challenge Central were absolutely brilliant! Great at answering even the little questions ahead of the event, and then the support during the ride was just superb. I felt encouraged all the way, even when I was trailing at the end of the big hills. Kingy's amazing support during the ride, keeping us all fuelled up with food and drink, and stopping just round the next corner to cheer us on, was amazing, and David and Alan's ceaseless encouragements keeping me going up the hills, was incredible. I can't thank them all enough, simply fantastic, making the London to Paris ride an unforgettable experience in all the best possible ways.

Having been nervous about my ability on this trip, I need not have been as it was enjoyable from start to finish, with plenty of rest stops. I would highly recommend Challenge Central.

Great 3 day ride to Amsterdam from Letchworth with breakfast before the start laid on by the CC Team & an opportunity to meet the other participants. I cycled the 2 day London - Amsterdam cycle before some years ago and this was certainly a much quieter and prettier route to Harwich from Letchworth. 3 days is also better as everyone gets stronger on the bike. Good refreshment stops planned (hot day!) delicious picnic lunch in a park & ice creams at Harwich (thanks Steve!). The whole ride was very well organised with full van support and guided by a very professional & motivating team. I can’t recommend CC highly enough and can’t wait for my next challenge. Hasta la vista Alan, Steve, Dave, Rob & co!

This trip was excellent. The support, professionalism of the team and general thoughtful nature of challenge central. I cannot recommend enough and I will certainly be back on another adventure.

I joined a group adventure to attempt the National 3 Peaks Challenge over the 2025 Summer Solstice (20-21 June) on a trip that was run by Challenge Central... and it was one of the best things I've ever done.
Our CC team, almost entirely composed of men called Steve, were great from start to finish. And when I say start, I mean start - weeks before the event we were all added to a WhatsApp and given helpful pointers on what to expect and buy, and how to prepare ourselves physically: no question was too small or obvious during this period. Once we got to the weekend itself and rendezvous'd at Glasgow Airport, the service really kicked up a gear - even if our trusty van and ace driver were stuck in neutral for rather more of the mileage we covered than any of us would ideally have liked! Everything was anticipated and taken care of: water (it was boiling for much of the 24-hour period), copious snacks, the most glorious array of supermarket sandwiches (exactly what you want when you get down off Ben Nevis ravenous past 10pm at night)... Really importantly, they selected absolutely top-notch guides for us on all 3 mountains: funny, knowledgeable, conscientious (the guy who picked up every single piece of litter he saw...), motivating and flexible. By the latter I mean simultaneously super patient and kind with individual team members who were struggling at times while also recognising that as a group formed from a fitness/training collective (True Collective) many of us were fit and super-competitive and quite up for racing up and down these peaks at a perky pace. They took photos for us and didn't bat an eyelid of frustration when a tendency towards faffing before each hike commenced became apparent. It's hard to over-state how important this was to the overall experience. Players of the match beyond the 6 guides were Driver Steve, who navigated delay after blockage to get us where we needed as quickly and safely as possible, and Steve H, who was with us every step of the way (and sometimes seemed to be in about five places at once). It was lovely when they joined us for our slap-up celebration dinner at our Snowdonia hotel once it was all done and dusted.
In summary, I would 3000% recommend this company for your next outdoor team extravaganza.

The team was great during a company ride from London to Amsterdam. They made sure to separate enough that each cyclist in our group of ~30 knew the correct turn to make, provided encouragement and enthusiasm along the way, and made sure that no one was left behind. This all allowed for a great bonding experience for all of us without having to worry about the little details. Would highly recommend to anyone considering. Thanks for a great experience!

The Letchworth-Amsterdam cycle ride was a great experience and the Challenge Central team were a well-oiled machine ensuring the ride ran smoothly. But with enough flexibility to cater to individuals in the ride and very personable people as our cycle guides and support team, who did everything they could to make it a trip to remember. Fantastic!
