Our experience as a buyer of a property marketed by Chase Evans was really pleasant, and we found the estate agents to be upfront and helpful throughout the buying process. Matthew Moloney in particular went above and beyond at multiple stages to keep us informed and advised, which was much appreciated!

I would highly recommend Matthew…

I would highly recommend Matthew Moloney for his open and honest approach when selling my father's property.
He kept me fully informed every step of the way throughout the whole process.
He remained calm, measured and reassuring especially when issues arose over an external wall certificate.
The whole experience was made less stressful due to his knowledge and professional approach.
I highly recommend Matthew.

Frustrating Experience regarding deposit Return

We didn’t have many issues while renting. Most of the time, they were responsive to our queries.

However, the problems began when we moved out. The process of returning the deposit has been extremely stressful. Communication has been inconsistent and often non-existent.

They added extra cleaning charges, even though we used the company they recommended. That company left minor issues, such as a few hairs behind, yet I have been charged £400 for additional cleaning even though they promised that they will be getting them to go back and clean again if there are issues.

They have also attempted to charge me for bills that do not belong to me.

I am very concerned that I will not receive my deposit back, as they do not respond to calls or emails. This has been a very frustrating experience.

Great experience

Matthew Moloney went beyond what I have experienced with any agent previously to ensure the sale of my flat progressed.
The transaction was complicated by cladding and fire safety related problems. He remained involved in the process of supporting the purchaser to gain a mortgage and helping the solicitors through the maze of regulation.
Others agents might have given up and focussed their efforts on flats that would shift more easily.
Even once the sale was assured, he helped the buyer with meter readings and key handover.

Long-term lack of hot water & poor handling of building-wide issues

I strongly advise future tenants to be extremely cautious.

I have had no hot water for over five weeks in One Crown Place, and there is still no confirmed repair date from the building management. This is a building-wide issue, and tenants have been left without basic essential services for an unreasonable amount of time.

Throughout this period, the agency’s communication has been slow and unhelpful. Most emails receive delayed replies or none at all, and there has been no meaningful support despite the situation being severe enough that my university had to issue an official safeguarding letter confirming the negative impact on my health and academic performance.

Additionally, other building systems have also failed, including the waste chute, adding more disruption to daily life.

This has been one of the most stressful rental experiences I have had, and I genuinely hope others do not have to go through the same.

I would highly recommend Chase Evans as…

I would highly recommend Chase Evans as an estate agent to sell your property. After having no success and a bad experience from two previous estate agents, I selected Chase Evans based on current sales. I was even more fortunate to work with Matthew Moloney, who was extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the market. Matthew is very honest and extremely hardworking. He was always in contact with me with potential clients lined up.
He researched my property well and is always a step ahead, knowing exactly what the client wants and trying his best to meet both our needs. I couldn't recommend a better salesman than him. Thank you so much for making the impossible possible!

Previous managers were always…

Previous managers were always excellent, but with this agent Nelly Obijiaku, it has been an absolute nightmare. Replacing a dishwasher took almost three months, which is completely unacceptable. Now she has been ignoring our messages for more than two weeks without any reply. Very unprofessional and irresponsible behavior — would not recommend dealing with her.
