Order

Placed an order - no response - wrote an email - got a response that item is out of stock. Asked them to send part order - no response. Been almost 2 weeks since placing the order. Sent 2 emails - no response. Very difficult to reach out as there is no contact number, only AI chat box. Not sure whether I will get my order and money has been already paid. Dicey. Never ordering from them again.

Update - May 7, 2026 ~ After posting this review, I received a response from their Head of Customer Service, who apologised for the delay and also offered a complimentary gesture to make up for the inconvenience.

I received my order today and am happy with the final outcome.

However, it would be very helpful if they added a customer contact number so issues could be resolved directly before customers feel the need to post reviews in order to get action taken.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. We’ve waited over 5 weeks for our order to arrive (and received no contact from them regarding delays) and only after sending multiple emails to them they responded saying they were waiting on stock. Order gets delivered today and four bottles are missing. Was finally able to get through to someone and they informed us they were out of stock (again, we received nothing telling us about the lack of stock). MIND YOU WE SPENT OVER $1000!! I can’t believe this place is still operating after so many bad reviews & their complete lack of communication and care towards their customers.

No order, no tracking progress, no email response, no contact number

So far, not good. I ordered a bottle of Dom Perignon as a birthday present 7 days ago, with 2-5 days delivery stated. My good friend's birthday has since passed, and still no delivery. The tracking details are sitting between "Order received" and "Order confirmed", although I got an immediate email saying "Order confirmed", and an order number. I have emailed them 4 times, including 2 direct replies to the "order confirmed" email, and still no response from anyone. Of course there is no contact number anywhere. If my product doesn't arrive in the next 2 days, I will report this to my bank and fair trade as a fraudulent transaction, and demand my money back. I wish I'd seen these reviews before ordering - I would have shopped elsewhere.

Ordered several weeks ago 6 bottles of NZ wine, no responses around delivery and missing timeframes, would suggest that they are not what you expect and would rather pay more now than actually order from them, wouldn't order again, will be seeking refund.

Ordered 2 bottles of whisky from…

Ordered 2 bottles of whisky from Cheapest Liquor after seeing their promise of 2–3 business day delivery. After 2 days with no shipping update, I contacted them and was told the items were actually out of stock.

I accepted a refund on 10 April, but as of 17 April, I still haven’t received my money. Communication has been poor and the refund process is very slow.

Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend shopping here. Hoping the refund is processed soon.

Unreliable

ordered a 300+ dollar order 22 days ago, it took me sending them an email before i got any of my stuff, that was several days ago that i got about half the order, still missing half so just sent another message to ask why.

Edit: I specifically asked when they sent a message regarding the items, that they should get them to me as soon as possible, NOT cancel and refund the remainder. As seen by the message below they did NOT do that and cancelled anyway, then asked me to change my review, so i will...by adding this....IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD.

My bank has been charged for an order not received

My bank has been charged for an order, but there has been no email confirmation of order placement, no tracking to indicate the order has been shipped, nothing. No response from their customer service, and they want to charge me for an order cancellation according to their site/chat.

No phone number, no response

No phone number, they don’t respond to emails when you are enquiring as to when they are sending your order out.
It’s been one whole month, we ordered $160 of birthday gifts and received nothing!!!
I had emailed them before placing my order and they said that it was due to arrive that week and that they would send out straight away.
Fraudulent and don’t waste your time.
We will be contacting our bank.

Unfortunately the supplier for this product was very difficult and caused unexpected delays. When your order was placed we were expecting more stock to arrive, however it got held up and we are so sorry that this impacted your order and your birthday gifts. As a small family owned business we rely heavily on our suppliers and unfortunately this can sometimes lead to situations like this, which we deeply regret.

I can confirm your order was cancelled and refunded back to your card, and a voucher was also provided. Our team later reached out to you again to apologise and to send a gift as a gesture of goodwill and to also resolve the issue, however we never received a response.

We do want to also address the concern about our phone line — we currently do not have one in place, however we will be looking to set one up in the future. In the meantime, we do have a live chat available on our website where you can speak directly with one of our team members for any urgent enquiries.

BEWARE! Delivery not made and zero communication

I ordered a very expensive bottle of tequila as a gift and delivery was supposed to be 4-5 Days, it has been over 10 days and my order is still showing as not even packed... I have emailed the company three times, I have created a ticket online through their website and still no response..... so now I am out of pocket nearly $200.00, I have no gift, and I don't even know if What I purchased will ever arrive.... after reading the many reviews it would seem that their delivery times are quite bad. Further more the fact that they haven't even responded to any of my communications regarding the order is what I find the most disappointing.

Well there's no next day delivery for Sydney my first experience of cheapest…

Well my first experience of cheapest liquor I signed up they sent me an email thinking me for becoming a member and because I lived in Sydney I got all these bonuses showed to me a picture of their van they're gonna deliver my alcohol in next day delivery 3 days later they're giving me a 20% discount because I still don't have my alcohol and I'm not seeing it until next week odd now next day delivery turned into 7 day don't by alcohol from these guys their next day delivery is b******* for Sydney their liars

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and we sincerely apologise for the experience you had with us.

We can see your order was placed on the 18th of March at night. We did explain via email that our FAQs clearly state to allow 1–2 business days for processing before the 1–3 business day shipping period. You had a good understanding of this and even apologised for the confusion, however a negative review was still left which we feel was misleading.

Despite this, we still offered you a partial refund on your order as a gesture of goodwill. We also received emails from your end containing inappropriate language directed at our team, which was very disappointing.

We have since cancelled your order and issued a full refund back to your card. Our team then reached out once more to apologise and offered a complimentary bottle of Champagne, however we did not receive a reply.

We truly wish things had gone differently and hope to have the opportunity to change your experience in the future.

After a small delivery issue

After a small delivery issue, the order came complete. I had great communication regarding suppliers issue in the supply chain. Communications were informative and friendly. Complementary bottle of champagne was appreciated for any inconvenience I incurred. What more can you do. Prices were cheaper than anywhere else I found.

Do not order - this company is a scam

Do not order!!! Your order won't arrive. No phone number, no response to emails or their support message option. They have stolen my money. Ive reported this company as fraudulent
