Chepstow Trade Centre Ltd Avis 

We had an issue with the car we bought from chepstow trade centre but in all fairness Tim (owner) was true to his word & did fix the car. It was a gearbox issue on an auto & he paid to have it replaced so very happy in the end although we had to wait a while for the fix it was worth it as it's running perfectly now so thanks Tim. 😊

What can I say , they have gone above and beyond for me , ensure I got the perfect car, truly felt like a well looked after customer , from the warm hello’s to the see you again , I have been kept up today with everything! I can definitely recommend CTC as a reputable company in the car trade. I was treated with curtesy during negotiations and would certainly use them again for any future car purchase.

Decided to venture down to the Trade Centre to take a look at the VW Golf GT TSI (silver) that they still have for sale. The listing stated that the oil leak had been fixed and that it was a good quality reliable car. How wrong I was. Now, I understand the world of used cars is a minefield, but to travel around 90 mins only to be greeted by a car that clearly hadn't had any of the stated maintenance/repairs taken place is the reason for my review, just so others know what they might be greeted with.

Bodywork was ok, fair few scrapes and some dents, front bumper had clearly taken some previous damage. Was told they don't repair these issues as they then have to add them on to the price of the car. The test drive was where the problems showed their head. A matter of 10 mins into the drive and the engine light comes on, followed by the ECP light, a fair amount of smoke from the exhaust and then it started to mis-fire. Was actually that slow accelerating that I thought we wouldn't get back to the garage. All this for £6500.... I think not.

Don't get me wrong, the guy who greeted me was nice enough and talkative, nothing wrong there. We did however, kind of feel that the mechanic (not sure if he was one) who was on site with him kind of looked at us as if the faults were the result of us driving it/or we were making it up? Thankfully this was not the case as he confirmed it was a mis-fire after taking it out himself.

All in all, given the experience I had personally, I would really do your homework on a car from CTC if you were to purchase. My review is based solely on the quality of the car after being told all issues were fixed and that it was so-say the:
"perfect first car for someone good strong safe German car." - description from the CTC Official website. It wasn't good at all, it was far from it. I was asked if I would consider driving it again if the problems were all fixed? Now... that may be a nice gesture but the word "if" shouldn't come in to it. Nobody in their right mind would buy what I drove as it wasn't roadworthy.

I had the pleasure of visiting Chepstow Trade Centre recently to purchase a car and I must say it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I stepped into the showroom, the staff were friendly, approachable, and very knowledgeable about the cars on offer. The salesperson who assisted me was extremely helpful, taking the time to listen to my needs and recommend cars that were suited to my requirements. They were not pushy at all and gave me plenty of time to make my decision. The car I ultimately chose was in excellent condition and the price was very reasonable compared to other dealerships I had visited. The whole process from viewing the car to purchasing it was seamless, and I felt confident that I was making a wise investment. Overall, I would highly recommend Chepstow Trade Centre to anyone looking to purchase a car. The customer service was excellent, the prices were fair, and the selection of cars was impressive. If you're in the market for a new car, this dealership is definitely worth a visit.

It was made easy from start to finish. The guys at CTC are extremely knowlegeable & helpful.

Was in touch with Tim over email for the past 2 days, made arrangements to go and see the car on Saturday, arrived at Chepstow TC , was welcomed by one of Tim's colleagues, looked at the car I was interested in, and it was described as it was, it was stunning. Took it out for a test drive and i really couldn't have been much happier. I was putting my car in for Part/Ex , a problem arised with my car while we were there, but Tim still took it in Part Ex.

There was no pressure , no hard sales from anyone there, it was a nice environment.

The whole process was faultless and went smoothly, and i would highly recommend Tim and his Colleagues at Chepstow Trade Centre to any of my friends and family.

Unfortunately we did not have the best experience with CTC, we were informed that the car had recently been valeted before we had purchased it but it didn't take long to discover this was not the case. It was evident that it had a quick vacuum to please the eye, missing all the usual grubby areas such as cup holders and storage compartments within the door.
When we asked about the rear camera we were told as it was not advertised it shouldn't matter should it be working or not despite it being standard on this particular model. We were later to discover that the AA cover we were sold wasn't what was advertised. It was to our understanding that we'd have 'unlimited' cover for 365 days this was not the case we had 365 days to 'claim' our one call out.
