I was lucky that I found my pendant…

I was lucky that I found my pendant from here for such a price! Definitely better than any of our local suppliers have, so it's good to source jewelry overseas for these prices. The shipping was so-so... could be improved but nothing too shabby. Thanks

This review could be five stars, but unfortunately they don't offer custom pieces.. I have a specific idea in mind that I haven't been able to find in a pre-made condition so was hoping that they could get me one.. so far to no avail but rest of their products are nice.

Chrome Heart Ring - Got one for my girlfriend! I used her old ring to compare the sizes so as I wasn't sure it fits the finger or not.. everything played out fine, they sent me the correct size!

Expedited shipping

Expedited shipping, everything arrived on time! I found a really nice piece of jewelry that I wanted to gift to my girlfriend for her birthday but I was worried it won't arrive on time.. The checkout was easy and after a small chat with the support I managed to secure a expedited shipping.. fast forward, everything arrived on time. Many thanks!

Chromeworld JP is a scam

I'm located in Hong Kong and made 2 purchases, the first on 15 November 2022 and the second on 26 November 2022. When I received the items, I found out they were sent from Hong Kong. That's when I started to have doubts about the authenticity of the items.

I contacted them via email and their online chat to ask why the items were shipped from Hong Kong. Their correspondent - Nomura Yori explained that their "warehouse" is actually in Hong Kong and they had sent an email prior explaining why. I never received anything other than order confirmation and shipping information. I asked for a refund and they obliged, I received one of the refunds about 2 days after.

I returned the items within 2 days of notification. Nomura Yori provided an address and contact located in Japan. I complied with their request to list the items as $20 USD for customs. I followed the tracking every day. When the items reached Japan, they were stuck at customs due to insufficient info. I contacted the courier company to find out why and asked for the required info from Chromeworld JP. Nomura Yori told me not to worry and that they will handle it. This was on 15th December 2022. They also sent a separate email saying that both refunds have been processed.

The courier company contacted me for the second time and said they have yet to receive any information and that there is a handling fee of ¥600 Yen for each day of storage.

The courier contacted me for the third time saying the same thing, so I emailed them again. Chromeworld JP took a few days to reply and said they were unable to contact the courier.

10 business days later (29th) I emailed them again because I still haven't received the second refund. Also, the courier alerted me for a final time saying that if I can't provide valid info before the 31st, the items will be disposed of, and I will be responsible for the daily handling fee since they can't get in touch with Chromeworld JP.

I chased Nomura Yori through email again. No one replied so I went to their website to try the online chat, only to find out that the entire Chromeworld JP store is gone.

Nomura Yori still hasn't replied to my emails to this day. Don't know what is happening with the company, but if they ever resume business, DO NOT buy anything from Chromeworld JP.

Edit to reply 15th May 2023 - This was back in December 2022 and you've only just gotten around to replying to this review? I'm not going to bother to reply to each accusation from your lengthy rebuttal.

The Trustpilot team reached out to me and I was asked to provide sufficient evidence to support my experience. I have email chains, courier waybills, invoices, and screenshots of conversations between the courier and me that proves my effort in contacting the supposed JP warehouse address you provided.

Also, I want to point out clearly that I have never to this day, received the second refund of USD 466. You keep insisting both refunds were made on your end and keep asking me to check with my bank, but yet you wouldn't show any kind of proof that both refunds were made when I asked.

Anyhow, all evidence strongly supports my experience hence Trustpilot's seal of approval as a verified review. Unless you are questioning Trustpilot's integrity?

It has been 6 months, and I've gotten over this matter. Perhaps you should too.

We went through all our records to try to locate your order. I believe you may have ordered under a different name because we have an order that matches this description.

1. We have warehouses in multiple cities around the world to faciliate speedier shipping, I'm not quite sure why having a warehouse in Hong Kong would lead to doubts about authenticity, in fact there are 2 official Chrome Hearts stores located in Hong Kong, you could have easily brought the items there to be authenticated. We shipped out from our Hong Kong warehouse because as you have stated, you are located in Hong Kong and we wanted you to have your products as soon as possible.

2. We require the buyer to pay for return shipping, this is clearly stated in our return policy page. This is because we can afford either free shipping or free returns but not both, we chose free shipping.

3. You put in the wrong address in the return and because you are the shipper, we were unable to re-route the package to us correctly, despite this we still refunded your order.

4. Your order was refunded completely, you should contact your bank if you are having issues with that. We refunded you completely despite the fact that the wrong address was used on the return order and we lost the items because they were discarded by the postal system.

5. Our store is not gone and was never gone. We have tried to contact you multiple times to fix this issue.

We really don't appreciate this type of review on our site as it really hurts our business. Please contact us at contact@chromeworld.jp if there are any other issues that we did not fully resolve for you. We apologize for the service you received and wish to make it right. Calling us a scam just because there was an issue with the returns seems a bit mean, we are a small business in Japan that supports a small team, we work hard to try to make our customers happy but sometimes mistakes are made.

Our products are 100% geniune, if you had brought the items to the Hong Kong official Chrome Hearts stores you would have been able to confirm this.
