This Leo / Cifas marker company is a front

Certainly not to be trusted with money. In fact Run away from Leo
As far and as fast as you can.

In April 2025 I paid £1000 for the services of Leo regarding my cifas marker on the basis of no win no fee. We sent a document to the financial ombudsman regarding my case. The ombudsman replied and I shared this reply with Leo. To which there was no response. I messaged Leo on WhatsApp, tried to call him and emailed him all of which were ignored.
Jan 2026 comes by, cifas marker has ran its course and has been removed.
I ask Leo for a refund since he did nothing other than ignore me and provide no help.

He is avoiding my messages and calls
The simplest way to put it is
DO NOT TRUST HIM
HES A LIAR
WANTS THE MONEY BUT DOESN’T DO THE JOB

He will take your money
And disappear into the wind
He doesn’t care about the stress the cifas marker already caused you. His goal is to take your money and ghost you.

Leo is a fraud
His business is a front to con people for their money.

Customer provided False information in their submission to us proven by the Ombudsman who reviewed the customer's statements and confirmed that the customer's version was completely false and fabricated including that the customer had student loan paid into another account.

"4. The Ombudsman recorded that you said your student finance was paid into someone else’s account. The Ombudsman then stated that student finance payments can only be paid into an account in the student’s own name. Unless you can provide evidence to support your version, this creates a further concern about the accuracy of the information provided.

The account must be in your own name, we cannot make payments into third party accounts under any circumstance.

If you lie in your submission to us, in line with our terms, you are not eligible for a refund!

As a result, we have also filed a claim for Defarmation.

In my case this Leo MUSAMI was a scammer. I am saying this because he not only lie to me, he also avoided any communication afterwards, like WhatsApp text and calls, normal phone calls, or online meetings. After he emails CIFAS or Ombudsman, he is not answering. Do not try to use his “services” as he is not genuine. SCAM.

We worked with Alex to challenge 2 CIFAS Markers. Alex tried to bypass our process by contacting the company directly after we had submitted a complaint.

He claimed not to have heard from the company when he had literally called them.

Alex tried to make a claim through American express, American express rejected his scam claim. We initially REJECTED to work with Alex and he came back asking for support.

After a marker was removed, he hid the information claiming he didn't hear from them. He tried to claim a refund AFTER one of the markers was removed, he refused to follow the process and kept asking for escalation.

Evidence from our dispute response.

The primary difficulty in this case is that the customer has repeatedly:

contacted the institutions directly during active representation
withheld responses received from institutions
requested accelerated outcomes contrary to process
required duplicate enquiries after institutions confirmed they had already responded to him

This conduct has materially delayed progression despite our service being active and ongoing.

As of 19 Feb 2026, we are awaiting the customer’s copy of the final response from the business team so the case can be escalated to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

I paid money to this company over a year ago and the guy called leo musami kept delaying what i paid for and when i asked for my £500 back he started threatening me and giving stupid excuses, avoid he is a scammer .

Avoid this company, they are awful

Avoid this company. The service is beyond terrible and your money is at risk. We paid him £1,000 to help with the Cifas removal. He sent an email out to financial ombudsman once and did nothing after that. He had a no win no fee policy, but has failed to give the refund even though he did nothing to influence the outcome. He has since ignored every email or phone call requesting for the refund he promised to give if the cifas marker wasnt removed. be warned and stay away

Update - Leo has not acknowledged the our refund requests and we did send a WhatsApp message which was ignored.

2nd update - Leo was trying to intimidate me via WhatsApp into taking down my review and when I didn’t, he is threatening to me and there has still been no refund given. If you read other reviews, he has also threatened people in the past. This is your WARNING.AVOIDDDDD

SCAM – AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!


This company is completely unprofessional. If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. The service was terrible from start to finish. Once they took the money the communication completely changed and it felt like they didn’t care anymore. I had to keep chasing for updates and there was no response.

Communication is terrible and once they have your money it becomes very difficult to get any proper response or update.

I would strongly recommend staying away from this company.

We have been in constant communication with with Mr Irshad. The process is well defined. Issuer complaint, Cifas, Ombudsman, Court. We communicated this clearly from the start.

Stay well clear took my money then…

Stay well clear took my money then decided to send me a generic load of crap to send to monzo which was effectively laughed out the door with , a total Mickey Mouse set up took weeks to reply and nothing materialised, took £1500 quid off me I would have felt better giving the money to the homeless I would have felt like at least something had been accomplished and money went to better use , honestly stay well away there is better companies out there that actually managed to get my marker removed kept in contact and actually done what they said they would

Stop lying Leo after you take money from your clients you stop communicating with them I am a living testimony to it you are criminal and you need to be investigated and be arrested you have place your self out on the internet scamming money from desperate innocent individuals that want their case to be resolved the deal was if your get the cifas removed I pay the charges if it doesn’t go successfully you ll refund my money now you were not able to get my cifas marker remove I asked for my refund and you have refused to refund my £1000 the issue here is I believe you a solely individual hiding behind computer scamming innocent people the address there is scam it doesn’t leads to you and you know it and stop using the word we we because is only you scamming innocent people

I just contacted you this morning via WhatsApp if you are returning my money you read the message but you did not reply instead you’ve come here to leave a reply who are you fooling I’m not gonna stop here I’m gonna post you and your so call company on all the social media so people will be aware of you the scammer.

Revolut had placed a CIFAS marker on my profile, which caused me a lot of stress and uncertainty. I reached out to Leo for help, and I’m extremely glad I did.

Leo was professional, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the entire process. He explained everything clearly, guided me step by step, and handled the situation with great care. CIFAS Marker Removed in Just 2 Weeks — Truly Grateful!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one is well-deserved.
After discovering I had a CIFAS marker placed on 15/09/2025, I was panicking and didn’t know where to turn. I came across Leo online and decided to take a chance — and I’m so glad I did.

Leo responded instantly, stayed calm and professional, and didn’t make big promises as he told me to prepare for a 6 month turnaround — just clear guidance and results that spoke for themselves. After he helped me obtain my CIFAS data, he personally guided me through the complaint process and even took the time to understand my case in detail over the phone.

I submitted my complaint on 01/10/2025, and by 14/10/2025, I received written confirmation from Tide that my CIFAS marker had been completely removed. That’s less than two weeks!

If you’ve found yourself in a similar nightmare, don’t lose hope. Leo genuinely knows what he’s doing and will guide you through the process the right way. I’m deeply thankful and finally feel free again.

UPDATE** 16/01/2026

I would like to update that even though the marker was removed, any other business after that I was not replied. I even wanted to remove another and referred a friend and all was going downhill from there. My honest opinion is that he doesn't have the capacity to take on too many people at the same time. The people I have all introduced have complained to me even though I had a great response. Its such a shame as its staining the business, but I believe he has good intentions. Not sure if that is good enough for my referrals though sadly.

This guy just replies to reviews to save public face and threatens with defamation cases like he has any power at all!

He will not respond to your messages / emails! AVOID!

His company is about to be struck off the company register for not having a proper address!

We take the integrity of our business very seriously. This individual is not, and has never been, a customer of ours. Despite their claim, they have not contacted us via email or any other channel, and therefore, we have had no opportunity to respond to them directly.

The allegations made are entirely false and defamatory, including the inaccurate statement regarding our company status. As such, we will be proceeding with legal action against the individual for defamation to protect our reputation and the trust of our genuine clients.

Furthermore, we are formally requesting that Trustpilot remove this defamatory review immediately.

Should Trustpilot fail to remove this content or provide us with the necessary user information to pursue legal proceedings against the individual responsible, we will take legal action against Trustpilot directly for publishing and facilitating the distribution of defamatory material.

We will protect our reputation through all legal avenues available.

Ten day wait with no contact but high quality document.

After 10 days of hearing nothing I was shocked today when I very detailed and high quality document came through exactly what I had requested. I just say I panicked after 5 days and with 0 contact I initially left a negative review here. The piece itself is of high quality. I would just say communication is a little limited but just be patient and the documents will follow. Apologies for the initial negative review please update your site to say it may be 5-10 days if I had seen that I wouldn’t have panicked.

The situation with this customer has now been fully resolved. After some initial confusion, they returned with a much more balanced and positive review. We appreciate their honesty in updating their feedback and are glad we could help bring their case to a satisfactory conclusion.

Cifas marker removed after falling for a crypto scam back in 2021

I fell for a crypto scam back in 2021, I had no proof of the scammers messages to help fight my Cifas marker against Barclays. After years of feeling hopeless with restricted financial access, I sought out help from Leo. He wrote a very thorough detailed complaint form, with everything included and more! He found problems I did not even know were an issue so it was amazing to see how much time and thought he put into it. Barclays responded to these complaints and have removed my marker from my name. I am so grateful. Without Leo's help, I would not have been able to do this alone. Highly highly recommend!

Lloyds Bank Marker Removed In A Week

After paying, it took around 3 weeks to get my letter so I can send it to Lloyds Bank. After receiving the letter, I was given straightforward instructions on what to do, which lead to me sending an email to Lloyds Bank and receiving a call from them to discuss the matter.

After a week, I got a call from Lloyds Bank saying that my marker will be removed, but I would be indefinitely blacklisted from the Lloyd's Banking Group, which to me means nothing since I was blacklisted from everywhere for 5 months.

Thank you, Leo! I will be sure to refer you if any of my people need help.

I just want to thank Leo for helping me with my Cifas marker removal.
He is very professional and will be helping you every step of way.
I had a marker on my name which had put me in so much distress as l couldn’t access any bank .The process took time but it was worth it . I never thought I would regain my financial freedom after this marker was said to be for six years, but Leo made it possible. I am pleased to say Leo is deal. Thank you so much

I wish there was more than 5 stars. Because 5 stars honestly isn’t enough.
I can honestly say that discovering I have a CIFAS marker has been one of the most
Stressful situations I have ever gone through. But Leo was there every step of the way! Other companies and solicitors told me there was no way to help me. And whilst this was a very lengthy process. And the bank made this situation as complicated as they could. But I had confirmation today that it will be being removed!
