Cloud 9 Vets provide gentle at-home euthanasia for your elderly or terminally ill pet. We are a family owned and managed organisation. Every member of our close-knit team works with dedication and commitment and we treat every call and every visit with respect and compassion. We are faithful to our objective of making home visits personal, un-rushed, peaceful and dignified . We always have the time to talk to you and will always do everything we can to support you and your pet at a time when you need us most. We work to support and help you when you need us, but we are not an emergency vet and we do not have limitless appointment times. But even in an emergency we will do all we can to help you. An emergency tends to be a crisis and our ethos is to plan a calm and respectful goodbye. Our caring team works passionately to help pet families that are facing "end of life situations" for their beloved pet companions. We provide unhurried pet euthanasia services in the secure and loving environment of your own home. We really do understand that it may be difficult to make that first call, so, our Care Coordinators are available for you to speak to, 7 days a week, from 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday and between 8am to 5pm at weekends and when you pick up the phone, we will treat your call with kindness and understanding. All Cloud 9 Vets fees are always explained and agreed in advance of booking an appointment. The Cloud 9 Way, we do our utmost to provide empathy, compassion and respect in everything we do.

Excellent Service
We couldn't recommend Cloud 9 highly enough. From the first phone call, we were treated with efficient kindness and respect. Our vet Sam treated our 15 year old labrador with the utmost dignity and kindness, supported us through every step, explained everything clearly and through his skillful approach, made a very sad experience into something quite special and fitting for an elderly dog who had lived a full and happy life. After her favourite snack, she was able to drift away calmly and peacefully in her own bed, surrounded by us all, and we know that we have made the right decision for her. If you are at the stage of looking up this service, you probably know that the time is drawing near but it will never be easy. Cloud 9's wonderful approach will reassure you that you are doing what's best for your loved one.

We work hard to be compassionate and caring from the very first call. We really do understand how difficult the call is and really it is a call we do not want to make. But the welfare of our pets should always be a priority, especially as they approach the end of their life. The way you have described our services I find quite humbling, even though they are exactly what we aim for every single day of the year.

The sad goodbye to our dear pet.
Sadly we had to make the decision to have our gorgeous 14 year old Labrador put to sleep on Sunday morning. I rang Cloud Nine Vets as soon as they were open and we had Henry arrive with us by 5pm. The service we received for Miller and for ourselves was brilliant and just what was needed at such a sad time. Henry is a kind and empathic vet and was so gentle with Miller. The whole process was so heart-breaking but we all felt really comfortable having Henry in our home. Cloud Nine Vets had arranged for someone from the crematorium to collect Miller at 6 and they also did an amazing job. We would highly recommend Cloud Nine Vets, the staff on the other end of the phone were caring and kind and kept us informed at all times as to what time Henry would be arriving etc. Thank you to them for making such a sad experience into one that showed respect and kindness to our lovely furry friend.

They made leaving for Rainbow bridge a calm stressless time. x
I booked for my beautiful Blue my dog i have had as a rescue for 2 years.
Unfortunately the vet for my area was on holiday on the 11th, BUT suddenly i got a phone call, he had decided to come and visit us, and send my lovely boy to rainbow bridge.
He came at 11 am, and was so kind, so thoughtful, he knew i was in a mess and the 2 people with me, but he made sure we knew exactly what he would be doing, how and when.
Blue my dog wasnt scared at all, he seemed to know what was happening, and the vet made him feel safe.
Blue left me quiet and calmly i cant thank David enough who came out of his way to make the dogs passing stressless including myself.
I can highly recommend this wonderful company who make it so much easier for us to let our pets go with no fear.
The receptionist are always so lovely and calm too and make you feel your doing the best for your animals, and they will be safe.
THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR MAKING BLUES LEAVING TO RAINBOW BRIDGE a much easier experience for both of us. xx

What kind and caring words, thank you so much. I have read through all the notes and I am so pleased that we were able to get David to you. I know it was not easy for you but I am comforted that we have been able to hold your hand through this very emotional event, saying goodbye in your own safe and familiar surroundings, definitely provides some solace and reduces the distress of that last goodbye. This is really hard our world has gone but thank you to Andreas and Neil for coming when we needed a vet to our home and making our Henry's end peaceful. I appreciate all the help in such a difficult time and helping us through it but making it so less stressful for Henry

David the vet was compassion…
David the vet was compassion personified. Over the years we have had several cats put to sleep by our local vets, a very traumatic experience for pet and owner.
We didn't want this for our daughters cat that we inherited from her when she passed away six years ago.
David's calm approach to Edie May put a very timid cat at her ease, she never flinched once from his administrations. She went to sleep with no unnecessary pain or stress. Thank you David for your exceptional care and attention to her needs.

Kind, compassionate and professional service
Deciding that euthanasia was right for our cat was a very difficult decision, but Cloud 9 Vets were incredibly professional and compassionate at every step. Talking to them via phone to get information and a quote was clear and staff were always very kind and helpful. The vet, Wing, was so kind and empathetic. She explained everything so clearly and went at our pace. We are so grateful to Wing and the team at Cloud 9 for their compassion at such a difficult time.
I would very much recommend home euthanasia for a pet at the end of their life. The vet arrived on time, as did Francis from Phoenix Cremations. Our beloved Olivia's ashes were returned to us within 2 days. I would highly recommend Cloud 9 Vets.

The vet , Susie came to euthanize our beloved Lab as he was very ill , she was lovely, she spoke to him all the time and was so gentle , she asked us constantly if we were ok as all the family were in bits , it made his passing so much easier. The lady from the crematorium was also fantastic , so caring , made our dog look like he was asleep when she took him to her car.

On a very sad day when we lost our beloved Staffy Jasper just short of his 18 th birthday it was a comfort to have such a caring service from Cloud 9. From the moment my call was answered by reception to the final moments. Kostas arrived exactly on time and gave us as much time as we needed for last goodbyes. Jasper went into a quiet sleep. It is such a sad day when we say that final goodbye to a beloved companion, Jasper was a very good age, but I can see from his notes that he was dealing with some challenges, even at 18, it may be difficult to take solace from their age when they leave us. A Peaceful Goodbye for Our Beautiful Cat Louie ♥️🐾
We recently had to say goodbye to our cat beautiful boy Louie due to cancer, and although it was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, Josie at Cloud 9 Vets was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process.
She was so gentle, compassionate, and patient with Louie, and she explained every step clearly which really helped put us at ease during such an emotional time. She made both us and Louie feel comfortable and supported, and I truly believe he passed peacefully because of the care she gave him.
Thank you, Josie, for treating our boy with such kindness and dignity in his final moments. We will never forget it.

Cloud 9 made our pet’s passing to be as good as humanly possible - she simply went to sleep without any suffering…
Our lovely elderly dog had developed lymphoma about 6 weeks ago and had deteriorated over the past few days. When it became apparent that she was not going to get better, our vet recommended Cloud 9 for home euthanasia.
This was carried out by the loveliest vet from Cloud 9, Wing Ka Yuen, who was so calming, gentle and empathetic and who took her time explaining the process. She was the perfect end-of-life Doula and her professionalism and expertise gave our beautiful and much-loved pet a dignified, peaceful and gentle death, and us humans a sense that everything that was possible to ease her passing, had been carried out perfectly.
Would highly recommend Cloud 9 Vets as a result of this exceptional service.

Our beloved ziggy …
After our beloved dog ziggy was unwell we used cloud 9 to deal with him being put to sleep, he was taken to a crematorium and brought back home with dignity.
The vet was amazing as well as Holly who took ziggy away and brought his ashes home. Would like to thank everyone involved.

It sounds like Ziggy had a truly peaceful and dignified farewell. While the "5-star" circumstances are ones no pet owner ever wants to face, having compassionate people step in makes an immeasurable difference. Cloud 9 , Well recommended.
Last month we had to say goodbye to Bruce one of our cats who had gone down hill rapidly during short illness with diabetes.
Bruce was cat I rescued from living rough at work 11 years ago , he’s been so loving and never been far from my side all these years .
So it was the most heartbreaking decision to end his suffering.
Cloud 9 was recommended to us by my Daughter who had used them the previous year
After contacting Cloud nine it was arranged for Freddie the same Vet to come and put Bruce to sleep.
Freddie is a great guy who portrayed himself with professionalism, dignity & compassion .
Without further suffering Bruce peacefully left us .

I am so sorry to hear about Bruce. There is something incredibly special about the bond with a rescue, taking him from "living rough" to being your constant companion for 11 years is a beautiful legacy of love. On that day, so many years ago, you changed the entire trajectory of his life.
Making the choice to end suffering is the hardest part of being a pet parent, but it’s the final, most selfless gift you could give him. It’s heartening to hear that Freddie was able to provide that same level of dignity and peace for Bruce that your family has come to trust.
I am sure that the bond you built up over 11 years will give you a lifetime of memories.

The loss of my furbaby Harley
When the vet broke the heartbreaking news that my furbaby Harley would have to be put to sleep I was recommended Cloud9 vets. From start to finish they treated myself and more importantly Harley with such care and compassion. When I first called not really knowing what to expect Debbie was lovely and made me feel at ease. Zoi was our vet and she was fantastic. Talked me through everything and what to expect and was so gentle with Harley. So glad I used cloud9 vet and would so highly recommend them.

Perfect in a time of need
David came to us at very short notice as our Ella went downhill rapidly. He was exactly what we needed at that time, calm, reassuring and caring. Ella got to go to sleep in her bed after being told she was a good girl and having some good girl dreams. 💜 thankyou for providing this service.
