Sent the handset to another company, who have ran there industry wide testing tool, found nothing wrong and actually offered me more than Clove did for there original figure!

Would I recommend this company? Absolutely not!
Sent a phone to them to be recycled, initial quote was £80, was fully expecting this to be reduced. They offered £7 due to only the headphone jack was not working (everything else was fine), to be fair I'd never used it due to using wireless, on receiving the handset back I tested the jack with wired headphones, they worked perfectly.
Be warned and be careful with this company.

Have been a long time customer of Clove Tech and have bought many Sim Free phones from them.

It's the first time I have used their recycling service and true to form they have been excellent. They kept me informed at all times and paid the price they quoted me for very quickly.

Dreadful service avoid at all cost.
Whenever I buy a new phone it goes straight into a case and a screen protector is applied to keep it in excellent condition for when I recycle it down the line.
I returned my Galaxy S22 to clove for recycling which I only had for 4 months and was in excellent condition.
I was quoted £378 subject to conditions! I received an email from stating that they had inspected my phone and it did not meet their expectations and so they made me a lower offer of £270!!! There was absolutely nothing wrong with my phone and I even took a video and photographs of the phone before sending it off to them to substantiate this. Clearly trying to rip people off because it is close to Christmas expecting people to accept lower offers.

No quibbling over trade-in offer - they paid me exactly what they'd quoted (although this may be due to the fact that my phone was in excellent condition). There was a very slight delay in the order being processed and payment being made due to the Royal Mail strikes, which have understandably affected their turn around times. However, when I emailed to ask for an update, my email was answered very quickly and courteously, which I was impressed with. Even with the slight delay, the money was in my bank on the 2nd day after posting. Overall, I'd have no hesitation in recommending Clove based on my experience with them.

scammers, Sent in a immaculate Iphone with no scratches etc, when they received, they claimed it had scratches , after many requests i was sent a pic of a phone with deep scratches 100% not my phone as I had taken pics before I posted the phone.. I was hesitant but had to accept there “revised”/scam offer because i was worried they will scratch my phone and send it back has i requested a return..

Sent a phone to them that was less than a month old, pristine and as new. Lowered my quote drastically saying the phone was scuffed on the back, it has never been used without a good quality screen protector and cover. Pure nonsense!!! I sent the phone to another company and they accepted it in pristine condition and paid the full amount you 1st quoted before trying to rip me off.

Sent them a brand new phone on the Saturday.
Was worried about sending it, since the phone was valued at £240 by Clove (bearing every other offer by £40, incidentally). They reassured me that they used Royal Mail all the time with no problems, so it would very probably be fine.
By 6.30pm on Monday evening I had the agreed value deposited into my account by direct payment.
Astonishing, when you think the amount of time some companies take to do fast simpler things.
Really cannot recommend them enough.

Used Clove to sell a Google Pixel 6a, was the best price available but over and above that the service exceeded expectations.

Their initial offer was what I received and the entire process from sending the device to Clove, through to getting paid took less than 48 hours.
