I don't know what to say really rubbish service
I don't know what to say really! I have been let down more times than I can remember!
Not just bog-standard booking with comcab but even when dial a ride has allocated a trip to comcab, often booking is made and promised but driver doesn't get assigned until after the booking time! When we call I we get is that we only take the booking! Driver says we only got the job assigned! No-one actually takes responsibility for the time we end up waiting!
Don't bother
Booked for the next day via their automated service and got a text to confirm booking. 4 mins before it was due received a phone call saying it wasn't coming and there were no cars available. Apparently it was my fault for booking at a busy time. Should have read these reviews. Avoid, a waste of time and just adds to your travel stress.
Cheating Drivers
I accompanied elderly couple in this com cab black cab. The husband has some disability. He can’t manage to lift his legs up to climb into cab, the driver couldn’t be bothered to put the ramp. Just helped to push him in.
When we started going, I saw he was going totally another way, I knew the way, I pointed out that but he insisted in going his way, saying he is the driver. He then took us on a very long way. I knew what was happening, he was simply trying to make as much money he could by taking a very long route. The journey should have been less than 25mins, he took over 50mins and got us late for a party.
On our return journey similar problem. The driver was just sitting in the cab and would not come and let us know he was there. I went outside to check and he was just sitting wasting time. When I said we have been ready and waiting for quite sometime, he was just in a bad mood and replied we should be waiting outside for him.
As we had a very long ride before I pointed out to him which route was easiest, in an angry manner he said who is driving? First he took the turn I had pointed out and then little further he turned somewhere else. I said to him he was not meant to turn, he just kept on being rude. He then started talking to someone on the phone saying can I be told to shut up. He was pretending he was talking to the office.
He also threatened to drop us on the road and not take us to our destination. I said if he did that then I would have to report him to the police. He knew he was up-to no good, after that he went quiet and carried on his own route and finally dropped us home.
Two drivers doing same thing, cheating to make more money from this job.
It is sick how these people are allowed in this country and they behave this way.
The trip should not be costing more than £30, the meters were going above £70+. The client had to pay £10.70 each way and all the balance I suppose goes to the drivers. Where does that money come from to pay them?

I say every time I would never use them again but I did well now this time after being let down again I will never ever ever use this company again. I am a disabled customer with multiple sclerosis and they left me with my mobility scooter stranded absolute disgusting COMPANY is a disgrace.

don't use this company we booked a cab on their online app which they confirmed to us. We then waited for 1 hour and no cab arrived. The supervisor then rang to apologise and cancel it as they had no cabs. Ruined our last night in Liverpool as missed our booked table in a restaurant.

Comcab are pathetic
Comcab are pathetic. Even with booking a taxi in advance they never show up. When they finally do show up the drivers are rude and think they can show little to no respect for the client. Will not be using again- giant waste of money- they will soon be run out by Uber anyway!!
My mum is in a wheelchair
My mum is in a wheelchair, hoisted for all transfers so unable to get out unless taken in a taxi that can take a person in a wheelchair. Twice now she has been let down by ComCab left stranded even though the taxi was booked the day before there and back!
I was shocked when told the drivers are self employed and they are saying they won’t go back out to help a stranded old lady who has had a stroke. A nice trip out for lunch turned into a nightmare. This service is absolutely unreliable and I can’t think of anything worse to say that I can put on a public review. I will be tracking down the director who manages this poor service and give him/her a peace of my mind. You would think a lunch out with your family would be easy but NO it is not, seems that you are doomed to misery if you can’t get out on your own, I’m discussed.

John Lewis Kingston is a nasty piece of work and very dodgy avoid him at any costs.
I had a very bad experience overcharging me and intimidating me when I complained about the charges. He came out the car outside my house were he dropped me and challenged/intimidate me I have reported him to the company with the hope the remove him from the street.

Airport run booking....we were let down
We booked a taxi the day before an early flight. It appeared as "confirmed" on the app, but I also contacted them by email .... just to be sure it was booked.
Email reply confirmed it was. .....saying they'd be "as close to the time as we can".
Taxi booked for 4am. By 4.25am, no cab, ringing them only got as far as being told they had no driver confirmed/ couldn't give an indication of arrival time.
Bearing in mind, of course, this was to the airport.....for a flight that would simply leave without us if we didn't arrive.
I booked airport parking online at 4.25am, cancelled the cab (just on the off-chance anyone might have showed up after 4.30am).....headed to the airport.
I contacted them about this no-show to receive this reply
"It wasn't a no show, it says on the system that it was cancelled at 4:23 and 22 seconds by the internal process".
If a cab booked for 4am that hasn't turned up 25mins later isn't a No Show, then the mind boggles. And they're willing to argue about 90seconds!
Would not use again, and certainly would not recommend to anyone else getting to the airport for a flight.
If they're unable to provide the ride, they shouldn't take the bookings. You need reliable services for catching a flight......!
Never will use again
One star only because there is no option for zero stars. Booking was made 5 days in advance and accepted however after several text messages and automated phone calls and standing in the rain for an hour we finally gave up and used another firm to get to the airport. AVOID
ComCab Liverpool
I ordered a black cab on the app with an hours notice- booking was accepted. I called when they were 5 minutes late and they said they were trying to allocate a driver, operator was polite. At 15 minutes late I got a text telling me they were very busy and that I could cancel, so I cancelled. It was the first time I used the company and it was a bit disappointing.
Do not use this service
Cab's never turn up on time even if you book days in advance. Driver not allocated. Staff on phone polite but cannot tell you when drivers will be allocated. Drivers we have had have been polite and helpful but cannot take my wheelchair bound disabled mother out ever again because cab never turns up on time. Just waited 1.5 hours and driver still not allocated. Must be a system where they can allocate a driver when you book well in advance. Today is not my first bad experience. Spent nearly 2 hours waiting for a cab before when I booked one for 9.30pm. Had no other way of transporting wheelchair bound mother and was nearly midnight when I got her home. Disgusted. Do not use this service if you need to be on time and do not have hours to stand waiting.

Failed Service
My Mother is over 80 Years old. Over the past year she has missed numerous hospital appointments and other appointments.
Mum has had to call to find out the eta of the driver up to 3 times on each occasion only to be told - the driver is on the way/the driver is outside- when she goes out side there is no one there / we have no drivers despite booking in advance.
Money is often taken off my Mums swipe card even when the driver has not turned up or the driver has has decided to turn up when my mother has had to resort to trying to take the bus to her appointment.
When trying to call the ComCab Service there is often either no answer or you are left in a long que endlessly.
Surely this is not the service that should be expected. Why does ComCab allow this to carry on? Today my Mum had to take the bus to an eye appt with blurred vision. Do Better!!!
Taxi no show with an advance booking
Booked a taxi an hour in advance through the app the booking was confirmed and money taken as pending to secure the booking. The booking time came and went no correspondence through the app or on the number attached to the account. I phoned the operator who advised that no estimated time could be provided until a taxi was in the area. Our booking was from a hotel that can only be accessed by a vehicle so we really needed the taxi. Had they informed us when we booked we could have secured another taxi from a different company for our preferred time.
Best taxi service in Aberdeen
Reliable service, friendly drivers. I left my phone in a cab a couple of weeks ago and the driver drove ti my house and returned it to me. Would absolutely recommend compared to other Aberdeen taxi companies.
Waste of time
Waste of time. I pre ordered a taxi at 4am for 4.30am. Call handler assured me the taxi would be there. 4.30 comes and no taxi so I look on the app, taxi has been cancelled by them with no explanation. I rang them and the call handler said to me, well all my drivers want to go into the city centre where people are offering them all kinds of money to go to all different places so I can’t get you a cab yet, he then says phone any cab company and you won’t get a taxi because it’s Saturday night. No mate, it’s Sunday morning and people still need to go to work. Your website says you’re reliable…you’re not! Anyway I rang a different company and the taxi arrived in 5 minutes.

Not professional at all. No taxi dispatched for us after 15min waiting after the due time. We had to called to discover that and a taxi arrived 30min late... you can't rely on them !
