CHS have just finished insulating our whole house. I can honestly say it has been an absolute pleasure to have them here! From the first phone call to them leaving last night, I've never dealt with a nicer bunch of people! The office staff have kept us fully informed throughout and the whole installation team were professional, courteous, hardworking, thorough, polite, thoughtful, very funny, very skilled and knowledgeable, clean and tidy....I just cannot praise them enough!! I have mobility issues and they worked around me with such care and consideration. The standard of work is beyond excellent and they have gone above and beyond for us, we're so impressed. A HUGE shout out to Chris, Joel, Dan, Will, Ethan, Eric, Mark, Billy, Tony, Adam, Olivia.....I hope I haven't missed anyone off!

Excellent service from start to finish from everyone involved. We got a letter from the council about Eco4 grants, weren't sure if we were eligible, so emailed Community Home Solutions. They were very responsive, contacting me almost immediately. We were eligible, so things were put in motion and everything happened very quickly - initial survey, detailed survey and date for installation. Everything happened on time and to plan. The insulation installation team turned up at c 7.30 with all the equipment (we had a very big job with 16 external walls!) They cracked on, worked extremely hard, on long days to late in the evening. The quality of the work was excellent, and I said to Joel and his team that you wouldn't know they had been at the end of Thursday when they finished!
Similarly with Marcus's heating and solar panel team. They came, got on with the job very professionally and were finished by Thursday - except for a faulty inverter which was reordered immediately and replaced the following week.
There was obviously a lot of preparation we had to do, moving contents and furniture etc. But I brought our caravan onto the drive so the teams could leave their stuff at night, and we could just close the door on the building works and go to a clean, quiet and cosy caravan. It worked well for all of us.
Everyone involved from the beginning to the end has been excellent. Great communication, great service, very friendly and professional teams with superb workmanship. And we have a warmer house!

I first heard of Community Home Solutions after receiving a letter from them and decided to get in touch to see if I was eligible for anything.
The application process was really easy and they were more than happy to arrange any communication and the surveys of my home around my working hours too, which was a massive help!
Every single person I've spoken to has been polite, friendly and professional so I've felt well looked after and all the workmen who have been involved in the installations have been equally as polite and professional and very respectful of my property.

Community Home Solutions just finished installing a heat pump, radiators, solar panels, and insulation in my home through the ECO4 scheme.

We had a very tight timescale to do the works which they were able to meet having had two other companies fall through after the initial survey.

The team worked long hours and got the job done to an excellent standard, we have been really impressed with the quality and the difference this has made already.

They were really helpful in working around us and letting us know what the plan was to get work done. Even when there was a minor issue they went above and beyond to fix this and we have had no further problems.

Would definitely use the company again and we will pay for them to do the recommended yearly reviews.

The heating insulation work carried out at my property was excellent, the work force where 110% professional, friendly & polite, they treated my home with respect and kept everything as tidy as they possibly could while they carried out the work , which was completed at a very high standard. Marcus explain what was being done at every stage . Joel at Community home solutions was always happy to answer the many questions I frequently asked. I would have no problem to recommend them . Had loft insulation installed last week. Also had to have mechanical pumps fitted. Was very pleased with the work. The workmen came when they said they would, and left everywhere neat & tidy. Top job. 5*

Recently I had Heat Pump & full Solar PV installation with other improvements to my property carried out by Community Home Solutions. I was very impressed by their workmanship and overall efficiency during & post installation and above all their excellent attitude when it came to customer client interactions. I am very pleased and impressed with the results of the install and everything they assured me of performance wise was bang on. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

We've just had a very big project take place at home, where we had an air source heat pump fitted as well as radiators, pipework, solar panels, and full internal insulation. I completed an online application for funding for loft insulation in our property. This was quickly followed up by the team and the time taken for the initial assessment to follow was really quick. The insulation process was completed within the month and the all of the staff and representatives were brilliant throughout the process. Would highly recommend applying for this funding!

Lengthy process. Needed to pay for a report from my GP. Had a thorough survey of house. Advised application was to make home more energy efficient as I am not on mainline gas and have long term health issues. Contacted them after 3 months as no update received, to be told that I did not qualify as my boiler was 85% efficient. Total waste of time and explanation provided was contradictory.

I found Community Home Solutions contact via our local council website, I am not on any benefits but I applied online by filling the form anyway. The response I got was absolutely amazing. First action they do is to check my eligibility, I wasn't in the income threshold or benefits but got eligible for medical reasons. They work with local surgery in Burton called Gordon Street Surgery.
After eligibility confirmed they performed two surveys, and advised best insulation option for my house which was built in 1920's. They did internal wall insulation, loft insulation, even did the area which was not covered by main loft. when they were putting back radiators, some of my radiators didn't work and they replaced it with new one's.
This whole process from application to installation took no more than 6 weeks and was absolutely free. Very please with end results and my home feel a lot warmer. I am definitely using less heating than I used to.
The whole team is very helpful, communication was brilliant. I am glad that I apply for it. I would recommend this to anyone even people with above income thresholds, because it is not the only criteria.

I could not recommend Community Home Solutions more, from start to finish they were brilliant. The whole process was straightforward and easy, from the initial survey, to the completion of the work (wall and loft insulation, thermostat, radiator valves), and the aftercare, there was always someone on hand to answer any queries that I had. They honestly couldn't do enough to make sure everything was done to the highest standard and my experience as a customer was a good one. The difference it has made to my house surpassed my expectations.

A professional and helpful team from the start to the finish. The retrofit was carried out to a high standard. The house is considerably warmer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.
