100pcVATFreeBridge is amazing. I previously used another free software package listed on HMRC website but it had several flaws and was discontinued recently.

100pcVATFreeBridge is far better and is free with the option of a donation. It is difficult to see how it could be improved.

I was fairly apprehensive about doing my first digital VAT return as I really wasn't sure what would be required. I needn't have worried. Once I read the guide and created my Excel spreadsheet, everything was very straightforward and simple to set up. An excellent product that I'd happily recommend.

A great little application that does exactly what you need it to do - Electronic VAT returns that meet the HMRC Making Tax Digital obligations.

You can use it for free, however I encourage you to make a donation to the charitable causes that the Developer is supporting as a sign of appreciation for a great tool.

We have used 100PCVATFreeBridge for a number of years and it has been faultless. We also donated towards Mathew's Gap Year Trip so hope he had a great time.

As a self employed businessman I had already split my income and expenditure spreadsheets into 4 quarters and created a 3rd spreadsheet in the same workbook and linked all the relevant boxes to make completing my online VAT return easier before MTD was forced on us all. To date I have been using one of the brand name market leaders ‘bridging software’ which was not exactly ‘user friendly’ as each box on my own spreadsheet had to be linked one by one to that on theirs at each submission.

This app/software is pure genius and easy to set up from the very clear instructions and should negate the aforementioned laborious exercise at every submission. I have done a dummy run and all appears to be working perfectly. My 1st return this year will be due at the end of June and once successful (although I have no doubt that it will be) I will be more than happily making a donation to their chosen charitable concern and would urge others to do the decent thing too.

To have spent a no doubt considerable amount of time developing this app and then made it freely available to all, one could only describe the author as a true Gentlemen.

I've been using this superb software for ages now. Does exactly what it says on the tin and whilst it is free please donate as I did.

Even after a one-off donation you will still have made large savings. Developers like this should be encouraged as free really is free here and there are no ulterior motives.

HMRC put up a frankly un-needed barrier to submit returns when they already had an existing solution, ComSci breaks this barrier down with a well documented and easy to use solution, would highly recommend.

Excellent easy-to-use free program that uses your previously designed spreadsheets with very little additional work. Also I have had super-fast response from support to queries.

I was so annoyed that HMRC obliged me to go through the process of finding and setting up bridging software for something I have been doing quite easily by direct entry. Most 'free' packages had some charge for data and/or wanted to sell whole accounting package on the back of it. 100PcVATFreeBridge is so easy and exactly what HMRC should have developed and offered to make things easier for teeny SMEs. Thanks to Comsci who stepped up and did it. I shall donate and support their caue.

I've been using spreadsheets for my accounts for over 25 years, and was loathe to have to move to a package. This enabled me to easily hook into my spreadsheet and submit returns. What's more, it's free!

To those considering the use of this MTD software This is a simple and very effective way to make your returns from your own spreadsheet.
