Excellent program. I tried a couple of the other free programs available on-line but they were all too complicated, (and I'm not sure they would have been all that free with normal use)
This program just pulls the information from my Excel Spreadsheet which I've used for years. I'm a one-man-band Company so my VAT is very simple. But since it pulls from your usual VAT accounting program the I guess it can work for comlex returns too.

No problems, no hidden fees, just a little polite request for support once you close up, which you can ignore if you please. Tidy solution if you do your finances and VAT through excel and don't want to invest in expensive specialist software.

MTD "Making Tax Digital was potentially a nightmare for small businesses with commercial firms lining up to charge fees for something many of us had done for free. Paid our VAT and filed a return. I put off moving to this new system until 100PcVatFreeBridge came along. Great simple to use software that complies with HMRC.

We are retired and run a very small farming business.
Accounts are very simple and we are allowed to reclaim VAT expenditure.
The old HMRC online system was fine for us and very simple - spreadsheet manually transferred onto the online form. Then we were not allowed to do this! But we found 100PC VAT FREE BRIDGE and it's even easier because we use the same (modified) spreadsheet which it transfers to HMRC for us.

Having used this software for a couple of VAT submissions I have to say that it works really well and the user manual is very clear in explaining how to set up the submissions, it is free but a donation will hopefully make sure this software will be available in the future. I use Libre Office so will have to convert to Excel but that all works seamlessly.

Great app and guide

MTD all seemed a little overwhelming for me at first, but by carefully watching the step by step presentation I was up and running without any hitches. I use Excel for my book keeping and accounts, so this was the perfect app for me.

Despite having always kept my business accounts electronically, I put off moving to VAT MTD for more than a year because my 25 year old legacy accounts software wasn’t compatible and I didn’t want to have to ditch it and start all over again. The 100PcVatFreeBridge software (plus a fairly simple two sheet Excel workbook that took an hour to put together) has enabled a fully compliant VAT link from the company accounts to HMRC at zero cost. Most importantly, 100PcVatFreeBridge saved me from having to migrate to a new accounts package and all the work and expense that would have entailed. The software is an elegant and brilliantly executed solution, there is a complete, easy to understand user manual, and even example spreadsheets to help you get started. Highly recommended.

Simple but great
I have been using 100PcVatBridge for several months now.
It helped to have programming background when I first set it up, especialy getting to read the data source. You should be able to find help on-line. Other than that it is working great in everyday use. No bugs, no faults. I recommend it.

It's a simple little app but it does precisely what it needs to do – act as a bridge between my records and HMRCs systems. Best of all – unlike most of the other 'free' solutions listed by HMRC – it's actually FREE.

100PcVatFreeBridge is perfect for my purposes. I am voluntarily registered for VAT so I need something simple and preferably free. Once the clear guidelines have been followed to set everything up, it is very straightforward to use and submission was smooth for my first MTD submission.
