I am appalled by the sheer incompetence and lack of care shown by Connect Fibre. My parents, who are both in their 80s and disabled, had an installation booked for today. This was confirmed by FOUR separate emails.
Based on these confirmations, their existing copper line was cancelled to coincide with the switch. Connect Fibre failed to show up, leaving two vulnerable people completely isolated with no way to call for help or emergency services.
The excuse given? "Civils work required." This is a blatant lie or a sign of total internal disarray. Connect Fibre was at this exact property weeks ago to install the neighbor's service, where they gained my parents' permission to use THEIR existing ducting. The infrastructure is already there and being used by the house next door.
To make matters worse, when notified that they have left a vulnerable couple without any communication link, they refused to provide an emergency 4G backup hub.
This is a direct breach of Ofcom’s rules regarding the protection of vulnerable customers. You have created a safety risk through your own lack of record-keeping and refusal to provide an interim solution.
I expect an immediate escalation and a technician on-site. To anyone considering this company for elderly relatives: stay away. Their "confirmed" dates mean nothing and their safeguarding is non-existent.
First time I’ve needed to ring for support, and was very pleased to be assisted by Matt who went above and beyond to help resolve the issue. Your Staff are a credit to you. Also, very unusual but very welcome to be able to talk to a UK operative. It makes a difference

What a lovely engineer I had , polite friendly and respectful, she knew her job exceptionally well , came on time, cleaned afterwards, the service across the board was excellent, moved from a different provider, helped me set up all my appliances before she left , ten star rating

Had a guy come to my door today very pushy pressuring me to sign up saying how this is a great deal etc but then saying it runs out soon, no idea how he knew my address he made me feel stressed and said he would be back, I do not want anyone at my door I'm not well and also autistic so do not understand all this stuff

Great company that deserves every success! Out of the blue, Mark and his colleague knocked on our door about six months ago to introduce Connect Fibre. After a friendly, polite, and very informative chat, we were keen to sign-up and switch from our present broadband provider with whom our contract finishes in May. The process could not have been smoother. On the 20th April, Connor and his colleague neatly installed an overhead fibre line into our house and set up our 250 package plus mesh with negligible disruption. We now have massively improved download and upload speeds, plus we were able to keep our original landline number and handset operational. Customer support is first class. We're looking forward to many years of trouble-free broadband, and thoroughly recommend Connect Fibre.
